My home was not clean/ready before I moved in.Wrong keys given(I am not kidding..!!) I called for some repair at home, did not get any response for two months.Will not recommend KB to my friends.

Management at KB Homes were very unhelpful and inefficient. Problems still persist with home more than 3 months after closing and the company is slow and inefficient in their resolution.

Remember, KB is a tract home builder

Workmanship is as a traditional tract home builder. Maybe even sub par against that benchmark and the associated competition. Limited attention to detail. Lower end components for the money; faucets, appliances, toilets, and carpet. Interior painters are terrible. I don't think they know what blue tape is or what it used for. Other than that, the house seems to be solidly built, so far.

Trades unsupervised. Home not delivered on time as promised. 2 months trying to get issues resolved that should have been done correctly before closing. Representatives of KB relaying incorrect information.

We moved in less than 3 months ago and the walls and ceilings are already starting to separate and show visible holes. There are 4 additional issues that we have been waiting to get addressed as well.

There were multiple inspections with inadequate follow-ups and delayed communication. Due to several issues, we had to initiate follow-ups each time, as there appeared to be a lack of interest and initiative from the builder’s side.

Everything was good until we closed. Now there's minimal response to issues. Repaired a window and they said they would come back out to do the paint. Been waiting on paint for over a month. Still no word on when the people are coming to paint the window that they did repairs on. Oven quit working less than 2 months in the house. The number left to me for warranty repairs isn't valid anymore. Just like most other companies they'll do what it takes until the sale closes then you're on your own.

I was warned not to buy a KB Home and now I’m warning you. The craftsmanship is horrible. The sales agent and general contractors grossly misleads buyers. They have completely ruined my first home buying experience. You cannot get them to honor parts of the warranty. Purchase with a Pulte, Lennar or other builder. Trust me!!!

I purchased this home as to be our last home. We have had nothing but issues with loud Mexican music played by construction workers. Fire alarms that come on randomly for no reason. Door seels that are improperly installed. Expensive filters for the home, four different types. Carpet is standard in the dining area, in other words you're eating on carpeted floors; so 70's. We moved into a Model home which was a sales Office earlier. Prior to moving-in (at the time of purchase), we were provided a lot of assurances but when close to the move-in date, sales representative was not agreeing to none of the items agreed upon. For Ex: the carpet was really Bad and nothing was done to address the issue. Similarly with the doors. The only saving grace was the construction manager Joaquin. He ensured all the defects highlighted on moving-in were fixed. Over all did not have a positive experience and also felt I had paid 20K more than the market value.

I expected some problems when building a new house but was shocked at the subpar craftsmanship and communication I experienced during this process. I still have many items on my to-do list that I brought up before closing that haven't been addressed four months later. After moving in, I was rushed to take my 30-day survey early and pressured to give a good review, even though one was not deserved, and then literally forgotten about. This whole time, I have been patient and understanding as I know they are busy and overworked, but sadly, that has only gotten me pushed around and overlooked.

Going on 2 months now and none of the issues have been addressed or even made appointments. Doing business with KB is like going on a dating site. All nice and good at the beginning but once you discovered issues KB ghosts you. My sprinkler system is flooding, so I’m wondering if KB is going to replace my grass. Dishwasher and Stove need to be replaced. One of the bedrooms has a dead switch. Where my walls meet the ceiling are not even straight. I also had the carpets removed. To begin with, the initial experience was all great where we could pick a lot, pick the floor plan, elevation and choose the structural changes and select the interiors of our liking. Good Things: 1. Since I have moved into my home (and even before closing for that matter) I have had a laundry list of things that were incomplete or not working. These issues range in size from small to large (broken cabinet all the way to leaky irrigation). The lack of communication between KB and their partner companies has been atrocious. The overall experience was a shade above terrible. As expected, the home took approximately 12 months from signing the contract to closing. For nearly 8-9 months we dealt with an unresponsive Construction Manager - named Scott and a similarly unresponsive Sales Rep named Bob (Ok. Bob was a tad-bit more responsive but very unreliable).
