Buying a new home was always our dream but dealing with kb homes has been a nightmare. We want our home to look like the model home that we toured and fell in love with instead unfinished issues inside the home and trying to get kb home to complete the issues is ridiculous I regret ever getting a home built through kb home

You guys consistently didn’t deliver what you said. At closing the lights in the bathrooms were off, the appliances weren’t what I ordered, etc etc etc. your staff is not up to par. I paid cash for three KB’s in the last 4 years, this will be my last.

In the beginning of the home buying process Every thing was great. However when we came very close to closing our closing date was pushed back by three months. Not to mention the chicken farm and it smells horrendous at least half of the week. If I could go back in time I would not build again with KB Homes this was a horrible experience and I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. The warranty that they have set up is a big joke every time you call about something that’s broken it takes them 2 to 3 weeks to respond. Purchase at your own risk.

They ignore my complaint easy

Before I gave a satisfied rate, everybody related my home was so nice and kind and took care of my complaint. However, after rating, they 1) IGNORE ME 2) BROKEN APPOINTMENT WITHOUT NOTICE OR EXCUSE 3) SENT WORKERS WITHOUT NOTICE OR INFORM EVEN VERY EARLY MORNING 4) TOOK ALMOST 4 MONTHS JUST SCUREWED SOMETHING 5) LET BROKEN MASTER BED WINDOW OPEN MORE THAN 2 MONTHS THAT ALLOWED CONSTRUCT DUST CAME INTO MY HOUSE. Finally, I give up complaint more, because I do not trust them and I do not have more energy to wait them.

Home was in pathetic condition at close. Horrible finish. What's worse is they have now become very unresponsive to the problems. There are more builders out there who at least have a shred of integrity.

Our experience has been a rough one. Its been two months and our house still has a lot of work to be finished. People have been slow to repair anything at all and there are many issues that even though they were addressed nothing has happened. Overall my house still needs a lot of work.

This has been the worst experience! As a first time home buyer, I would have never expected to have gone through such poor construction and customer service as I’ve experienced. I definitely don’t feel I’ve received the value of a $300,000 home. We’ve had nothing but one complication after another and it all started within the first 24 hours of moving in when we had a small flood in our laundry room because a pipe was disconnected. We had high hopes in the very beginning, but after KB got our non refundable $5000 things changed. We were treated rudely and couldn’t get straight answers for anything. After moving in we’ve had one problem after another. It doesn’t seem like anything can go smoothly. We’ve had someone out about our flooring 4 times and are still having major issues. KB told us in the buying process that they stand behind their build and products, but we’re feeling very letdown. We’ve had many issues with many !! Things some have been resolved and some haven’t.

Bad workmanship and a lot of missing and damaged selected appraised items

I would stay clear from KB Home in Madera County CA because it doesn’t make sense to buy a new home that have so many damaged and missing items. I bought the top model and paid a lot for a lot of upgrades items, but a lot of it are damaged and are still missing. It’s a very aggravating new home buying experience. In light of this, maybe KB Home is different in different counties/states, but it’s very bad in Madera County CA thats for sure.

Very poor workmanship noticed across different areas of home. Home looks new, but feeling is old becuase of numerous issued noticed after we moved in. It has been over 2 months since we closed Escrow, but warrany folks have been unable to resolve all issues. Issues that have been resolved were not done on a timely manner either. I truely feel that there was a lack of supervising from KB Home during the time home was buiilt resulted, due to which all the messy situations wr are going through now.

They weren't worth a crap. This is my opinion which I am entitiled to. Poor construction. Poor quality of work and resolving problems. Slow in making repairs. They didn't show us how to operate water, air conditioning systems (poor orientation). Failed to mention we were close to a chicken farm, which stinks at times. This only positive thing is they do communicate good with us. But actions spreak louder than words. We would never recomend KB Home to our worst enemy. The HOA is a nightmare to deal with. We will be selling ASAP.

KB Home provided the worst home buying experience a builder could give. The workmanship is horrible (still having the house fix after 2 months of being closed) and even the pending items list at closing is still pending. I was given the wrong cooktop twice and I am still waiting on my new one. Holes on the wall, showers leaking, doors in bad condition, door knobs falling off, outdoor panels popping up, painting pealing, electricity problems, to name a few.
