The Tx loan compared to NY was very frustrating and it took over 5 or more months before they denied me a loan and I had to start all over with a different company kept me anxiety extremely high for the whole tome

Ramon was on top of all issues he also would send us picture of the home being built while we were out of the country very helpful also Gregg, AJ, and Steve all helped getting the job done, very helpful.

What was bad was the person KB used to help with funding this home were totally incompetent. Had to answer the same questions more than 150 times. Seemed like she did not read or send the correct info to the lender. Very bad experience. Sherrilyn had to get involved sending our info to them also. The best is what received from Sherrilyn, and Ramon always on top of the job at hand. I would give them a 100% excellent grade for service in your new home. The builder was great dusty but to be honest find you an outside lender cause kb lenders don’t know how to do there job Anita was terrible worse experience ever she stressed me out daily lied about everything from the start and then other lenders tried to fix her mess and couldn’t felt so bad for the guy trying to help but to many people warned me to get an outside lender I should have listened from the start but my home is beautiful love the open concept but get you an outside lender less stress

Flooring Problem

The floor left at the Largest model (1860)was dismally insufficient for a new home. Reguardless of your As is !! Model hone Purchase Policy...an attempt by myself and your Builder was made to attempt to fix the situation....after a professional cleaning and resealing the floor looked good for about 2days once completely dry it returned to it lack luster shine and powdery look. In closing we spent 8k to put a vinyl floor on the bottom half of this home...totally Disappointed...in what we got for 304k...

When looking to get a loan set up, the response time was very slow and a representative did not take the time to work with us. We had to go with an outside lender to be able to get the loan that works for us and give us details of what was needed. They did not comply with my outside lender with credits they said they would give us nor accommodate us for things they said that they would do. The response time I felt was terrible, but other than that the home is beautiful and the team overall has been great.

What an horrible experience for a first time home owner. They were very rude and unprofessional with me just because I got my own lender. The construction superintendent did treat me good and did try making me feel comfortable as much as he can.

Overall process was long and frustrating not KB’s fault but our Bank loan process. Overall experience with builder was great. House was ready to move in. There a few things that need to be fixed after move in that we haven’t received any response or done yet.

From the day I put my deposit down to close was 3 weeks short of 52 weeks. There were tons of delays including the week leading up to close. It seemed like the turnover of sales people, builders created an environment where myself, the buyer never knew what was happening or who I could reach out to. In the final month and a half they brought in a new project manager, Kelly who is and continues to be a Rockstar. He is so responsive and knowledgeable. The entire process would have left a sour taste in my mouth if it were not for him. I would give him 5 starts in every category possible.

Lending process was horribly non-transparent. House is beautiful but had to get several things redone and then redone again. Feels like I keep finding things. Many times acted like it wasn’t their fault for things that obviously were their fault. James and Deborah (real estate agents) and Chad (maintenance/go to guy for all fixes) are cool!

For two years I worked hard to move out of the apartment I was living in with the intent to purchase a home here in Texas. I was excited and couldn’t wait for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow which was my new home. I had issues with loan officers, I was TOLD the date I was expected to close with no consideration of my time and work schedule, made promises that were not kept and overall disappointment with the whole experience.

My family bought our house sight unseen as we were moving to San Antonio and wanted a house upon arrival. We knew we wanted to go with KB but didn't have time to build custom so had to wait for one to become available. It was a race to lock one down and we finally got one. The location isn't great and the house is actually better than it looked in videos. However, there were a lot of issues found during our inspection we ordered and there were some that they didn't remediate until I sent the inspector back again. 5 Stars for Jean, Justin, Kyle with the customer service team. He has a quick response time and coordinates with well with vendors to get issues resolved. 5 stars to the sales team (Lizette). The 2 stars is for the the people who handled the final documents and management team, who I was told would contact me when I had issues with closing documents, but I never heard from them. No need to contact me now, since the documents were signed and we been living in our home for about 2 months now.

They use a lot of excuses when in our master planned community other home builders have no problem building houses quicker.. they used the excused of Covid for everything but so how doesn’t effect any other builder.. just KB.. The house is great and was their loan side, but other than that not good.. horrible first time buyer experience

A less than great rating on quality and trustworthiness. I do commend the sales associate, construction supervisors for addressing all concerns immediately upon communication to them. Not complimentary of the subcontractor's used to build the home. Several major items missed that should have been completed upon build up of the home.

The entire process from start to finish took about 11 months from start to finish. At first it was very exciting chosing our lot and visiting the design center. But because of covid it turned into a horrible wait. We had multiple delays because of covid 19 and it made for a bad experience.
