Date given for closing -house wasn’t ready. Once closing was done a multitude of inappropriate installments were noted.. For example: shower pan was installed it had a crack and empty spaces underfoot. Requested a new one and the gentleman stated it was malfunction from the manufacturer and they didn’t understand why it was installed. The shower door leaked due to little to no silicone per gentleman removing it. After replacing shower pan plastic cover not removed because it was no one’s job. So we removed it and caulking around tile and pan has yet to be redone 3 weeks later. The grout ...

The house I purchased was not new but broken, ruined, damaged.... I overpaid for this home based on the quality and workmanship. I have been requesting repairs for months. These repairs should have been made prior to me purchasing this home. I will never buy a KB home again. I asked for you to take your home back but you refuse to do that. I do not want a KB Home. My opinion is just getting worse not better with each person or issue.

Beginning with getting pre-approval through KB Homes the rep failed to do diligent work and could not get me pre-qualified for VA loan. However, outside loan servicer was able to easily do a qualification for the loan then incentives through Kb Homes were promised and it took multiple levels of leadership to approve this. Closing was pushed twice because Supertindent made promises to complete all work identified in the final walkthrough prior to closing and that did not happen. Currently still trying to get the work done from issues identified in final walkthrough prior to closing. All work ...

Been in the house only a few months and we've already decided at the end of the year we're going to sell. Multiple issues including leaks, countertop issues, issues with appliances, paint issues , quality issues, customer service issues, landscaping issues, and more. Customer service has been extremely useless with the exception of one or two helpful incidents. I will never purchase another KB home in my life. What was supposed to be our forever home has now just turned into a short-term living situation.

The model home was impeccable, your home will not be. We paid thousands in upgrading almost everything that you could in their base model home, and our home looks like a college kid slapped everything together with a hammer and some nails. Cabinets are crooked, chipped, cracked, and missing hardware. Vinyl floors are warped like you are walking on an uneven gravel road, same experience with carpet (the subfloors are not settling correctly). Paint throughout the home is uneven, finishes are horrible (it looks like a college kid painted the home in a few hours) paint easily scuffs and chips, so ...

The home loan people were horrible. I wanted to back out based off of their issues but my realities talked me out of it. I like the house but you really should restructure your home loan people. It’s like they have no idea what they are doing and ask for the same thing multiple times through multiple people or they wait till last minute to ask for something that they should’ve known they’d need months prior. I will never use your in house lender again it wasn’t worth the headache. If it wasn’t for the Superintendent I’m currently working with I would give you all 1 Star. Thank him he ...

If I could go back and wait to purchase a home, I would. My home buying experience was horrible and now that I’ve closed it’s been my biggest regret. There’s been so many issues and bad customer service. I didn’t have this bad gut feeling for nothing. I can’t wait to get over my waiting period to put my house up for sale. I dont even care to lose Im just done with this headache.

Love the home, the lawn is a swamp

We have lived in the home over 3 months now. We love the house and neighborhood. We were very satisfied with our sales rep and the gentleman who oversaw all the construction - I rated them both "10"s. However, I've reported in writing numerous times that the back lawn is a swamp that never drains, and KB Homes is doing absolutely nothing about it. We can't walk across the lawn without waterproof boots. We cannot mow the lawn because a mower won't make it through the mud. The dogs cannot go outside without getting their feet wet. We certainly can't play any lawn games. I'm at the ...

Was able to purchase home after being selected in lottery. I was very excited but Immediately I was rushed and pressured with threats of losing opportunity to buy the house if I didn’t act on multiple request within hours and days after. I was working and traveling and couldn’t dedicate my days to completing every request within hours after being selected for a lottery I didn’t know I was going to win. I wanted to explore other financing opinions other than KB and was bombarded by pushy sales people who called multiple times a week. I felt they created obstacles for me to use an outside ...

The Unfortunate Sales Assistant

Ugh!! I love my home but this was truly the worst experience I have ever had. The sales associate I worked with was not honesty, especially at the beginning about times it would take to move in. I was told 3 months and it ended up being more like 8. I would have much rather heard honest answers than dishonest answers just to get me to sign the contract. The construction manager was a breath of fresh air to work with - so that is a huge positive!! I just hated feeling manipulated buying my first home. Not to mention the sales assistant came to my home asking me to change my survey answers. ...

My husband and I recently purchased a move in ready home in Sanctuary Ridge. Prior to closing, we were told that our requests would be completed quickly. After being in our home now for almost two months, we still have incomplete work items and we cannot reliably get in contact with our representative. When we are able to contact the construction superintendent, he frequently dismisses, does not follow through, or won't provide timeframes for work completion. One example is that the toilet seat in our bathroom was broken and they would not replace it. We ended up fixing it ourselves. The ...

I paid cash for my home. I let myself be rushed instead of making sure the issues with my home were taken care prior to closing. I have paint splatters on the lvp flooring; on the concrete outside my home; paint on the carpeting; hot water heater didn’t work, and though I let the super know it took a bit for it to be repaired by the plumbing company; the cabinet in the master bathroom was not repaired; the cabinet molding was not replaced; all the bathtubs are scratched; the cultured marble in the secondary bathroom is chipped; the kitchen sink is scratched like it was used by the builder ...
