Once I closed on the property and now moved on to working directly with the worker regarding warranties and all other matters- the entire experience became an absolute nightmare. I was mistreated because I scored the first part of my buying experience at 7 over 10- there’s an avid score system that KB send out to buyers after close of escrow. So from that point in order to get things done, including promises their employees made, I was required to first provide a score of 10 on their avid rating. Horrible sales experience with Kelly. Constant miscommunication with superintendent Daniel. Major issues with home finish interior & exterior. Sewer backup with 2 weeks of move in 3 calls to customer service and had to call our own plumber. Kb is the worse home buying process ever

I did not have a good 9 months experience with the house. A lot of delays, people not keeping their word and worst off I couldn’t live in my house due to plumbing issue. No one addresses my concern until 3 days after we called the emergency service line 5 times and worse part kb told me they would do my backyard landscape to make up the damages. Also kb does not take ownership of their mistakes and brush it off like they don’t care about the home buyer

The builder appears to have hired contractors who offer rock-bottom pricing but deliver subpar workmanship. Since moving into my new home on February 15th, I have uncovered numerous issues and defects in the construction. The most glaring example is that even something as basic as installing a wall oven was done incorrectly. At this point, I've given up trying to get the builder to address and resolve these problems, as repeated attempts have proven futile.

30 days walk

No one show up in the house for the 10 days walk nor the 30 days walk. I had a list of items that need to be completed the house drywall paint doors are damaged. Locks are not working properly bathroom problems and still no one showed up. I reach out to the construction manager. I left them a voicemail. I text them the information they get they send me the people that wrong. I still have problems in the house has not been fixed. I would highly recommend it. Anyone from future resident of KB Homes . Do not sign the closing until you have everything completed in the house to your satisfaction

It has been a horrible experience to enter the house of your dreams and that it has too many inconveniences and that when trying to fix one thing they break down another, we are still waiting for repairs in our house and it's sad that they don't want to help us

Please, save yourself the massive headache and avoid KB Home and KB Mortage at all costs. My first time buying a home and I regret it! From the start there has been nothing but problems, from lost earnest check to failed promises this entire experience was a joke. Closing was set for March 24th. I did everything on my end to make it happen. The house needed at least another month's worth of work to complete along with a water leak in a bathroom. It was ridiculous to see. No hole for a dryer vent, broken trim, concrete in the garage a total disaster with spills and chipped concrete along with noticeable cracks already. This had to be one of the most stressful purchase and move we had ever experienced. Stop and reconsider. The sales manager is the worst person and provides awful customer service. He want me to desist from buying the house, and he was glad that that was the outcome. The house was delivered to us with many details, broken walls, glass with details in doors and windows, they did not clean the house, it was delivered dirty and with paint on the carpets, the gate was hit and they still did not replace the panel. The peivers were not cured, painting details inside the house still not done. The master closet done very badly. The truth is that we are not happy with the house because it was delivered to us with many things to do and it was delivered out of time. We are not happy.

Since the very beginning at every stage of the process, I’ve communicated any errors or complaints immediately. After any complaints and talking to different associates in different departments, there was always a sense that things would be addressed, however that was never the case. My experience was miserable and they know it. They were not honest about closing dates and they put me through at least 10 closing dates. This caused me undo and uncalled for hardships on me and my dog. Moving from place to place counting on KB to make good on closing only to be denied again and again! Sales team was great. All other aspects from loan, construction, quality, craftsmanship, closing, to repairs has been a nightmare. Very disappointed in the product. There are major issues in every part of the home. Moved in and the AC, Ovens, electrical and plumbing all had major issues. 2 months in and we still do not have proper working air and still no ovens. This is my second home that I have purchased with KB. The first home that I purchased was in Sacramento, CA. We had some build issues but most of them were resolved in a timely matter.
