Kb homes make an amazing homes and the team work are amazing with the communication and orientation with the whole process

The home buying experience from sales, purchase and after went smoothly through each area.

Good experience overall but I wish there was more communication on certain things. There is a slope in my backyard which Im not fond of. I wish the location of placement of the AC unit was communicated to me before hand. Some minor issues with workmanship that are taking a long time to get resolved. Other than that all was good

Fee stuff to fix when we did inspection but thats about it

After final walk through and move-in the customer service rep has been terrible!!! This rep sent the after closing email with a few attachments which included a performance review that he completed giving himself the highest possible rating, could not believe this! Extremely slow to respond (if he even responds), seems very inexperienced answers are always “oh just look on line” or “we don’t do that” even if the KBHomes indicates you do! One plumber he sent out said “oh he is the laziest person! Very sad and not a good representation of KBHomes! Dissatisfied with after purchase responsiveness! This reps attitude, lack of customer service makes me question the actual KBHomes warranty, appears to be no way to get a different customer service rep to work with. He’ll say he will get someone here or let us know answer to question and it rarely happens, we have to follow-up with him! You’ve hired a person who is not reliable and lacks responsiveness,unfortunately have heard same issues with this person by many neighbors in this new community. ... More

The process was very smooth with Jarad answered all questions and sent weekly update, very friendly. Wes took the time went through everything with mem when I need or asked for assistance he was there, and still keeps in touch and follow ups

Horrible drywall finishing as you can see where seams are everywhere. Robert is a horrible project manager and missed many steps and requests on my home after discussing with him personally several times.

I had a good experience with KH Home. Everything works perfectly with me.

My overall experience was pretty good. Any issues or concerns I had the Project manager made sure these things were addressed.

From the day I moved in, many things were already broken. The materials used feel very cheap, and everything seems to break easily. Even months later, the problems remain unresolved, and responsiveness to issues has been very poor.

We lived in Florida twice before over the years and made the big decision to move after viewing KB home with Donna at Somerset!! Everything ended up going so smooth and easy after all. We decided on the floorplan, the lot, upgrades at the design center all on our second visit. We are extremely satisfied on our decision, and couldn't be happier!!!!

So far no problems. Chris and Juan have been very helpful throughout the process. The only bad review is the loan process and the title company. They bring the whole experience lower.

Customer service for work to be done was no show no call when maxs sent some out didn't all work need is still need won't return call work needed to done back door,fonrt entrance, garage door entrance ,water hose connector at this time I'm very disappointed in kbh

The Sales & Design Process What initially drew us to KB Home was their focus on customization. We had heard horror stories from friends who felt locked into a pre-selected plan with other builders, but KB Home's Design Studio was a game-changer. Our sales consultant Jacob was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, helping us select a floor plan that perfectly fit our needs. The design studio experience itself was a highlight. We were able to personalize everything from the flooring and countertops to the cabinet hardware and light fixtures. While we were careful with our budget, the staff guided us toward smart, impactful upgrades without any pressure. We really appreciated having so many options to make the home feel uniquely ours. The Build and Communication Once construction began, communication was excellent. Our project manager, Jodie, was a true professional. They provided us with regular updates, often including photos, which was especially helpful since we couldn't visit the site every day. Any minor questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly, and we felt like we were a genuine part of the process. The build itself went smoothly, and the team was proactive in addressing any potential issues. We were impressed with their attention to detail during the walkthroughs, where they pointed out things we might have otherwise missed. The quality of the finished home exceeded our expectations, with everything from the paint to the appliances installed with care. Post-Closing and Warranty Moving into a new home can be daunting, but the post-closing support from KB Home's customer service team was fantastic. We had a few minor warranty items come up in the first month, which is completely normal for a new house as it settles. When we submitted our claims, the warranty staff was responsive and efficient, scheduling tradespeople to come out and make the repairs in a timely manner. They really stand behind their work. Final Thoughts Overall, our experience with KB Home was exceptionally positive. The combination of a highly customizable design process, professional and transparent communication, and solid post-sale support made us feel confident and happy with our purchase.
