I have horrible experience with KB, very slow haven't met any of the timelines they have provided, you will not get answer to your questions, bad quality in most parts and this happens primarily due to time constraints to close. Never ever getting a home through KB Homes

I got home with ceiling fan, the backdoor sliding door was dented. The response from KBhome was super slow. I had to escalate it to corporate office to find the supervisor information and even after that I had to make multiple calls to get a response. Finally they responded but getting the work done is super slow. Also KB home in their base mode (price they put on the website) is a bare bones house. E.g they don't even give handle to door, garage door opener, LED lights as default. These are we need to take as upgrade.

The home was delivered a full six months after it was promised—and the problem was not the pandemic! The problem was the company’s policy of hiring unskilled workers— and perhaps not paying well enough? Management changed on a regular basis—sometimes monthly—and thus there was no accountability. Shockingly bad workmanship throughout the home left us seriously disappointed. The sales team promised high value—and we estimate the house is actually In value about HALF what we paid for it. As a first time homebuyer I was initally very excited, but as time progressed, I became utterly disappointed with the whole process. The numerous delays, lack of communication and now that we are in the home, there are still a multitude of things wrong with the home, that we have been waiting almost 2 months for to be repaired. I will not buy another KB Home.

Terrible experience. First home buyer been my dream to own a home and my dream was shattered. Multiple unresolved issues months since closing still till today. Very poor responsiveness from builders who is clearly overworked with too many houses. Will do my best to avoid kb homes in the future

Unfortunately the entire experience was not what we were expecting. From the time we signed the contract to closing it felt at most times pulling teeth from construction to know about the status of our home. They would not commit to any estimate closing dates even though our sales coordinator and finance told us they can see on reports of one. Quality of workmanship is not the greatest, we where expecting to buy a brand new house so that everything was perfect and new, which is far from what happen, we did a lot of upgrades and everything that was installed looks like it was installed by amateurs that didn’t really know what they where doing, also we recently installed a doggy door in the wall of our house and as we where cutting the stucco out it just crumbled into sand making the hole way bigger and more sloppy than it should have been not sure why the stucco just crumbled like sand we have cut multiple holes for doggy doors in ...

Unfortunately, what was supposed to be an enjoyable experience turned out to be far from it. Due to a changing home sales market in June/July we struggled to get our (previous) home under contract. KB didn't care. Not only did they not want to work with us to still close on our new home, they literally gave us an ultimatum. Outlets installed crooked. Garage cement 5 feet long cracks. Doors don’t lock properly. Window shutters weren’t installed until 3 weeks after we moved in. A motion sensor flood light that I paid for was replaced with a wall switch to turn on, not what I paid for. Just less than adequate overall workmanship.

It's been almost two month I have no dryer the replacement they brought doesn't work. The hot water was working fine when we moved inn and it completely stopped working i was told they missed a part and they will fix it. It is still not fixed. I am now told to move out and get a hotel. All this with two kids. I am not even adding a whole wrong instalation of all the bars that is still not fixed and a shower glass not in place.....to say the least I didn't expect this from KB homes.

Given misinformation from the beginning. I chose my lot based on being told the last 15’ of my yard was a setback, not an easement. That was not true. Everything only got worse from there. I was supposed to close in November 2021, I didn’t close until June 2022. My lot set empty and untouched until nearly November, then it was thrown up in 4months. We were provided unsatisfactory experience throughout the entire process, from initial purchase to final move-in. The quality of the workmanship and customer service were horrible! I have been lied to - had products installed that didn't match - 11 months from the date i signed my contract and still have items on back order - the only quality control check points were the City Inspectors and the home buyer The good news is that the warranty service has been great so far. Be willing to spend countless days at home to meet the warranty service contractors

We have had a horrible experience and would not recommend using KB. Even after moving in, we still have so many issues that are taking forever to be addressed. We were told that any defects would be fixed within three days of our New Home Orientation, but here we sit about two months later and are still waiting for so many issues to still be fixed. Most of the issues are around sloppy work and cutting corners.
