The KB crew makes sure you are in the know every step of the way. Getting constant texts, emails, calls with updates on how things are going with a very accurate timeline was very helpful and gave me the piece of mind through my first custom home build.

When I visited the site, the home was not yet built. My main question for the sales representative was which home would provide the best mountain view, and I was advised to buy lot 77. At that time, there was only my home 18631, and there was no house behind me. However, after I moved in, a taller or same hieght home was constructed behind me, which blocked the mountain view from bedroom window. now the only view of the mountain was visible from my kitchen. I was a bit sad about this change, but accepted it. Additionally, deck work began on the back of my home, further obstructing the view. I had shown these concerns to Brad as well. I would not have purchased this home if I had been informed about the potential for this obstruction during my first visit in November 2024. The primary reason for my purchase was the desire for a good mountain view, and this situation feels misleading. l feel so sad and hurt about this. not enjoying the experience afterward at all. ... Buying this home is absolutely the biggest regret I have because it’s been nothing but constant headaches since the day I did my inspection. I was told when to schedule a third party inspection and both times the construction team was not prepared for it. I was told by the project manager that my expectations were to high and no house would ever be perfect, and I needed to have realistic expectations when trying to get the crooked wall, chunks of missing cabinets, and exposed nails fixed. I was told several times this is above model standard, yet I have no ability to do laundry, water sitting in walls growing mold, broken window, and it’s taken weeks to get a solution. My realtor was gaslit and ignored when addressing concerns before I showed up after closing and was told she couldn’t address the issues. I’ll never buy another KB home and I won’t recommend anyone I care about to either. I’ve had more issues in the brand new home than I ever did in a rental property. ... More

Working with KB was a very good experience and the person on the front line Greg, but calm To what could have been an anxious experience. From breaking ground. Can't be next the keys to the home. I made each step very good exciting. And all of it was done in a very timely fashion. We love our home and needless to say, we do it again.

My experience with KB homes have been pleasurable.

When they deliver the property , process is unprofessional, didn’t like the way sales office did , I don’t even have my mailbox keys

The entire experience of dealing with KB homes staff who we dealt with in purchasing the home has been exceptional. The only negative was with the title company which required us to have to wait for two hours for the funds to be received after we signed all of the required closing documents.

Once I closed on the property and now moved on to working directly with the worker regarding warranties and all other matters- the entire experience became an absolute nightmare. I was mistreated because I scored the first part of my buying experience at 7 over 10- there’s an avid score system that KB send out to buyers after close of escrow. So from that point in order to get things done, including promises their employees made, I was required to first provide a score of 10 on their avid rating. I declined and expressed my concerns to upper management and was pretty curbed ever since. I sent out emails to their corporate office and that too made no difference at the time of this review. I even went as far to show text message communications between myself and their staff as factual evidence to support my claims - that’s too was swept under the rug. Currently, there 9 issue with my brand new home one of which is a huge concern for me- concrete with large pieces of metal pointing out that was hidden beneath bark by the builders. I have small children and fear possible lacerations to their foot areas if encountered. Currently waiting to see if the division president will follow through with having these issues fixed. ... From beginning to end, all of our experiences with each KB employee has been spectacular. In a world where customer experience has absolutely plummeted, KB Homes has maintained excellence. As a first time homebuyer, this made the experience much easier than all of the tall tales we had been told. From sales to warranty, everyone has been top notch!

We purchased a home from KB in their Preserve at Culebra community. The build was the 3420. From the beginning until the end we stayed in constant communication with the builder. They were responsive and took ownership of any issues we found.

We are enjoying our new KB home. Brad, the sales consultant, was phenomenal. He was very educated in KB homes. He kept us informed, and helped in the home buying process and any concerns we had, he got them fixed quick. The home looks beautiful. Chris, the superintendent, was very nice and built a wonderful home. He was attentive to any questions we had. The only negative we had was the design selection experience, but when I told them my concerns, they were very speedy on resolving the issues. After her resolution, I have been happy with the overall design. Our customer service consultant Heather was wonderful. She helped us learn about the home and all its features. Overall, our home building process with KB Homes has gone very smooth. For a new construction community I would recommend KB homes. ... More

The seller took a lot of time to reply and help during the process. Stefano was on vacations, sick or day off when I need it. He did not help me when o need it he was more interested in new customers than the one with contract signed

horrible workmanship. unfinished touches on the home. driveway and garage foundation already cracking before moving in amongst many other things. staff is nice but unfortunately building houses fast in mass equals low quality of the property.

I always dream of a bigger house since our kids are growing and they need their personal space As a father I have full filled my dreams from the time it was a land to a structure we came every week to look at the progress I cannot be any happier than what we got the only thing I hate is HOA I wish there was none of this,it seems like I am binded into a contract and it seems someone is watching you.

The team at KB Homes was always available for the many, many, many questions my wife and I had during our purchasing process and they were always patient with us.
