They do a terrible job they only do things halfway and they smile in your face saying there gonna get it taken care of but they don’t. You find anything wrong with your house they don’t fix it. When I say they do jobs halfway I mean it,when you ask them to fix something they fix it but it’s a terrible fix or it’s not painted and just the mud on the wall no paint etc. I’ve told them about multiple things I wanted changed while in the building process. The buying experience has been terrible. The loan office staff was fantastic. However, I would not consider anything else good. The workmanship was terrible and the materials are beyond cheap. Repairs take forever to get done, if they get done at all, and are often done incorrectly again. Responses from the pm were slow or didn’t occur unless we called people higher up or from other departments. They literally stuffed paper towels into the crevices between the mortar and siding and then put the sealant over it in hopes we wouldn’t notice, which we have pictures of. I had a terrible experience, my house was delivered missing things to do, on the day of my closing there was no CO. They still have a lot of things to finish in the house and after I gave the bad review after 30'days. Everyone disappeared. I don't recommend that you buy a house with KbHome. Not to mention that the Sales Vendor doesn't understand anything about the place because he was asked before if he was allowed to park the cars on the street, and he said no. But in fact there is nothing that prohibits, because the street here is controlled by the city!

Once I closed on the property and now moved on to working directly with the worker regarding warranties and all other matters- the entire experience became an absolute nightmare. I was mistreated because I scored the first part of my buying experience at 7 over 10- there’s an avid score system that KB send out to buyers after close of escrow. So from that point in order to get things done, including promises their employees made, I was required to first provide a score of 10 on their avid rating. If faults are found with code violation and bad workmanship, they tend to brush it under the rug and state that 'THIS IS HOW WE BUILD KB HOMES!"

this is my second review. I’ve had standing water in my house. I closed on my home in November November 27 here we are January 23 and I’m still having the same issue. My yard is not draining properly.

I would never recommend KB to anyone not after the experience I’ve had if things would be done right the first time by KB home builders you wouldn’t have these issues you’re lying to your clients you’re lying to your buyers. You’re doing things that are not correct you’re cutting corners just to save money in the long run. It’s gonna end up costing you more. You are unfair and unethical. Shame on you.

Too many issues to list, workmanship is subpar, KB says they will send back contractors to make repairs and nothing gets followed up on. Disappointed, just bought the home and considering trying to sell it.

Bought house based off model home, before home was even built. Closed on home, late by the way, only to find out I have a 4’ tall fence in back yard on one side. (HOA walkway side) so now I can not have a dog bc it will jump the fence. I have absolutely no privacy in back yard at all. It’s on a major walkway so everyone passing by can see into my yard unless they are under 4’ tall!!! The home quality is cheap. Horrible sales experience with Kelly. Constant miscommunication with superintendent Daniel. Major issues with home finish interior & exterior. Sewer backup with 2 weeks of move in 3 calls to customer service and had to call our own plumber. I did not have a good 9 months experience with the house. A lot of delays, people not keeping their word and worst off I couldn’t live in my house due to plumbing issue. No one addresses my concern until 3 days after we called the emergency service line 5 times and worse part kb told me they would do my backyard landscape to make up the damages. Also kb does not take ownership of their mistakes and brush it off like they don’t care about the home buyer

Our experience has been a nightmare. There is not enough room in this space to properly explain all of the problems we've incurred. Pushing sales people, uncooperative staff, mismanaged build, delays, delays, delays, inspections not passed, poor trades work, very poor and upon moving in after two months work still needs to be completed. Newest development is finding possible mold in our attic and having to WAIT for the warranty department to get back with us. In the meantime, we are living in a house that may or may not be safe to live in. I will guarantee you that no one at KB Homes ...

Bought a bunch of problems with KB house

Multiple issues with the KB house after we moved in. You have to file claims to fix these issues and it takes long time for the construction problems to be fixed. All appointments are scheduled during my work hours. Do I need to quit my job or hire a house sitter to be at home for all these after purchase repairs? It was the worst decision of my life to buy a new construction/KB home
