Experienced only minimal issues. Adrian has been, and continues to be, very helpful in resolving those issues. All sale and loan associates (Amy, Lionel and David) were very helpful.

From the sales team to the construction supervisor, had a pleasant experience in building my new house.

Problems from the day one. Decided to continue homebuying after they worked with us to fix problems. Then problems arose again after our walk through. Tried to sell us a home with broken cabinets. Had to write multiple emails up to vice president to get our problems fixed. Staff is untrustworthy and unprofessional. We love our home but what it took to get it right was ridiculous.

Very bad on communication. They almost never get back with you on anything. We closed two months ago an still cant get paint and things fixed that they promised would be done if we closed. They want you in so that they don't have to do any more work.

When you have professionals in every part of the home buying process from the sales agent to the builders, the end product will always be the home of your dreams!!!

So far everything is good.

Bought 2-3 months ago. Love it. Good fit for us. New homes selling quickly. Easy process to go from look at what's possible to move-in. Lots to offer. Convenient to North San Diego, between 45"-65" to Oceanside (ocean). Good prices.

We love the Covington floor plan! The kitchen has tons of cabinets and the island is huge. The combined family/dining/kitchen room is huge, yet very cozy. The master bedroom is cozy yet holds our king bed and three large pieces of furniture with ease. And the master closet is basically the size of a small bedroom. KB landscaped nicely and our driveway holds four cars easily, unlike all the others we looked at. Overall, very pleased!

Thanks god this community wasn’t built like the Inspirade homes.

I was pleased with the experience.

Design center experience was very good, but the building process was the opposite. We had 4 different project managers due to them moving to different communities, and at one time our house didn't have anyone work on it for 6 weeks. At a few different times, the PM actually lied to us (which was confirmed). It's been 5 weeks since we closed, and there are a ton of punch list/warranty items that are now being worked on, but it's progress. The house is becoming what we hoped for, but getting here was tough.

The experience was amazing going to see your house built every weekend picking out everything yourself and everyone was so helpful.

Excellent easy process

So pleased, comfortable & blessed to have our own stand alone home with garage after years of living in army quarters. Nicest, reliable people to work with - we are really home sweet home!!

My KB home buying experience was awesome from beginning to end!!!

The overall house is great, we have a better than quoted SEER rating, but the toilet seat won't stay up. The hinges squeak on the pantry door. It is the little things that need attention. The KB Home crew has done an impressive job in correcting all the little detail items that have shown up in our first 30 days, if the subs would have done things correctly on the first go around there would be a 5 star rating up top.

I have had both the construction manager and sales manager both got promoted. Once the construction manager was promoted the things that were found after two weeks have yet to be resolved. I got the info for the gentleman who was supposed to take over we met I laid out all the concerns. It was a month later I had to email said gentleman because I had no update on my issues and it took him 5 days to respond.

We are pleasantly surprise that KB Home Builders as a production builder has done such a great job. That the staff overseeing the building of our home was responsive to our questions and comments and made every effort to try accommodate us where they could and if they could not accommodate they explain to us why. The staff at the design studio was accommodating, understanding, and of great help in making the many choices we were faced with. KB Home Montaretto staff, especially Ben and Rose, has been nothing but amazing. They are very responsive to our concerns or questions.
