Outstanding customer service from start to finish

The quality of the home is excellent. The few flaws were corrected immediately when pointed out. The personnel at KB couldn't have been more helpful. They listened and acted right away. The sales office folks (Pat and Mary) were and are wonderful, to the design center where Marlena and Sonny persevered thru our indecision's, and the followup by Barry and Carlos on site could not be surpassed.

With average costs of homes in Austin, TX area over $400K this house just outside of Austin was a tremendous value with an outstanding floor plan!

My home buying process started out perfect. The deal sounded great and the expectations were set high by the sales Agent and builder. I went to the design center and picked out many very nice reasonably priced upgrades with the exception if appliances. The appliances seemed rather expensive. Then the bad part stared. as I met with the construction manager it seemed he did not know particulars of the build. I was one of the last houses in the neighborhood and would have expected him to know this just due to repetition. I had multiple issues with building quality of which the construction Manager just kept sending the same crew out to do the same job and expected a different result. This is exactly insanity. When asked for a different plan or crew he became defensive. I also found dusty razor blades and nails in my yard after the sod was in. This is a safety concern for me for the kids and dogs. The construction manager did not go look for them for weeks to clean them up and when asked why they were there he told me it was a KB Home construction standard to leave razors in the yard after the sod is put in. I have been in the house about a month and a half and just found another razor in the yard. The land leveling crew also backed a tractor into my house cracking the siding. This was not discovered on the KB Home final inspection until I mentioned it. This makes me concerned about what else I either did not find or KB Home covered up as 'standard construction practice'. Overall due to my experience I can not and will not ever recommend or buy another KB Home ever. ... More

Very good company, highly recommended

It was a good experience buying a home with KB homes. We had few hiccups along the way but those were taken care after sometime.

Not happy with the home and quality

I am first time buyer and I am so happy that I went with KB. They explained everything to me in detail, even when I asked two or three times. Each person from the KB team that I worked with was efficient, helpful, kind, hard-working and I could go on! The difference I felt with KB to other builders is night and day. I felt like they truly cared that I was happy and I don't know what more you could want from a company. I couldn't imagine building with anyone else and inam glad I didn't have to. I would recommend KB to anyone who wants a wonderful experience building a home.

Happy

I love my new home, except the fact that when you have running water from the master bedroom, you hear it loudly downstairs as if the water is going to go through the walls and the ceiling. This is a little embarrassing when we have guests.

Good value for the price.

I got my Dream House with the help of KB homes and I like kb homes everything is good. I recommend KB homes to my sister she got approved and she has new home too.

The process was seamless. They kept me informed. The home was completed in the timeframe provided. Thank you we love it.

An overall great experience

My home came out beautifully- excellent workmanship and attention to detail. Paint colors and carpeting were really lovely. Both the sales team (Laura L.) and site manager (Rick L) were amazing and exgtremely responsive, they went out of their way to help me throughout the entire build process, keeping me in the loop with photos and updates. Once I closed they assisted me as an out of state owner by making sure my utility providers had access to the property and that a few minor touch ups got done and there was a terrific new owner gift basket!
