The KB team at East Lancaster was phenomenal and genuinely cared about my needs and my family. Any home I buy in the future will be a KB home. 2 months in and I’m loving my home. My neighbors are great and the house is a dream!!!! I wouldn’t get the kind of service and top-notch home with high quality materials from any other builders. And that is the truth. Thank you to KB and the KB team: Katrina, Cynthia, Jim, Jose, Heather and Sonja!!!!!

I feel KB is professional and perfect！

My wife and I bought a home from KB Homes at Gladden Farms. The whole experience could not have been more positive. For starters Chris at the sales office was courteous, professional and responsive to all our questions before we went ahead with the purchase. The house was not yet built when we committed to purchase it, and communications with both Chris and Tyler (the construction manager) was both constant and informative throughout the entire process. We also met via phone with the design team to make some upgrade selections and this too went without a hitch. In fact we were in Europe for over 2 months during construction, and during this time Tyler and Chris communicated with us every week with both pictures and the status of construction. Once back in the States we communicated via phone and more pictures, and even did our first "walk-through" via video conference with Tyler narrating as we viewed the house from Colorado. A week before closing we met with Michelle, who went over every detail of the house and made sure everything was ready before our final move in. Overall I cannot say enough about Chris, Tyler, the design team, Michelle, and even the title company. To start the sales person was thro thorough and listened to what we wanted in a new home. The project manager was reliable and quick to respond to any concerns we had. Also I received a call from the manager and salesperson every week to let me know how everything was coming along. I would totally recommend a KB home to anyone wanting to buy a new home.

Bought house based off model home, before home was even built. Closed on home, late by the way, only to find out I have a 4’ tall fence in back yard on one side. (HOA walkway side) so now I can not have a dog bc it will jump the fence. I have absolutely no privacy in back yard at all. It’s on a major walkway so everyone passing by can see into my yard unless they are under 4’ tall!!! The home quality is cheap. Similar to CBH Corey Barton homes is known for building homes with the cheapest materials. When I brought this up to the kb rep, he said they had to do this bc the city had a “clear view” fence requirement for some of the houses. So I walked next street over and found these fences in the same type of walkway area that satisfy the “clear view” requirement. It is a diff builder. Should have bought from them!! Unable to post a pic. But fence is basically 4’ tall and then the last two feet in height, are pickets with 4” spaces between them so you still can have a “clear view” fence per city requirement. I checked w Boise fencing and this is about $2-$3 a LF diff. Minus whatever bulk discount they get for doing 6k LF of fencing in the development. My house is about 60LF so that about $120-$180 total so I can have a dog in the home I bought. The drainage doesn’t get rid of water. I have standing water all over the back yard. It just shows that they hurried and built this with the least amount of care and as fast as they could. ... More

Everything went well so far!

These are the pending and issues after the closing day: 1.Perimetral fence: one picket missing. Who supervised this? 2.Perimetral fence: two broken pickets. Who supervised this? 3.Perimetral fence: one picket half-nailed. Who supervised this? 4.Stairway: no lights 5.One electric breaker needed to be serviced (replaced). 6.Kitchen window: missing screen. The original screen was in the garage at the time of the first walk-through inspection. 7.Duct for the dryer: it needed to be shortened as it was too long. 8.Back door lock: the master key did not open/lock it. ... This was my first experience buying a new home, and I was residing 1,000 miles away. I was kept updated and abreast of all happenings of my build and it was very exciting. I got here and the home I imagined was even better than I had dreamed for. I love everything about my new home and would not trade my experience with KB for the world. I am definitely referring any friends to KB whenever I get the opportunity. Thank you KB ( especially Nate Thiele for ALL he did to make my move effortless at 71 years of age!) for all you did to make my “choice” become my “dream”!

They paint over the cracks on tub to cover up.

Having issues with stove; it do not work. I tried to use the oven for the first time on thanksgiving and the whole stove shutdown and stopped working. Whirlpool not much help and KB liaison no andwer

seems like anything that could go wrong with this builder did. biggest issue is the poor workmanship an distrust that things would get corrected in the right way. it was a struggle to get anything corrected or installed correctly

You need to just follow up with them to be able to know the status on where you at.

Nice buying experience, nice customer service

The doors are crack and they just trying covering and the floor has little dots of paint and the walls have touch ups as well and if it’s a brand new home everything has to be new no tounch ups

The KB Home is Very Energy Efficient, my last power bill was on $55.00 dollars. Highly Recommended.

Houses are very big very good designs interior and exterior very good materials and finishes definitely will buy again
