I was warned not to buy a KB Home and now I’m warning you. The craftsmanship is horrible. The sales agent and general contractors grossly misleads buyers. They have completely ruined my first home buying experience. You cannot get them to honor parts of the warranty. Purchase with a Pulte, Lennar or other builder. Trust me!!!

The Sales personnel are very knowledgeable and professional, if you want a good quality home you have to pay for it, you don't get what you used to anymore, examples are bathroom medicine cabinet, extra or not included, driveway garage outdoor lights not included, lots are small, lot premiums are expensive, a lot of the neighbors don't keep up their yards,

The overall process from start to finish was outstanding. Any question that we had along the process was just awesome from every one involved.. From loan officer, to the builder, realtor that helped us was just outstanding. Each and all personnel went far and beyond in providing us with all the help along the way. KBHomes is a brand that goes beyond for satisfaction.

On-site Project Manager/Superintendent, Jodie, does an outstanding job in responding to any questions or issues. He deserves a 10 star rating and he needs to get some manpower resources on the KB side to help his outstanding efforts.

Process was smooth and easy. Staff were amazing. Actual home attention to detail is not great. Carpet falling apart, bunching, and can feel nails on stairs and transition areas. Wood outside cracked, splintering, incorrect dimensions cut. Sharpie marks still on windows exposed cables wood pieces in cement

The buying process was simple and pleasant. Our selling agent was very informative and helpful throughout the whole process. The Superintendent of the job site was very on top of everything and quick to respond when concerns came up. The only downside was the changing of our move-in date due to weather and material back order, other than that everything was great and would recommend others to purchase from Kb.

The overall home buying experience is very good, and the service after delivery is also very good. I will recommend kb's house to my friends nearby.

Everyone from salesperson, construction manager, finance counselor and design center representative were all helpful and attentive to our needs and wants. This is our third KB Home and all three were great experiences.

Sales team were courteous, polite and responsive. Design Center was ok. Construction Superintendent was fair, at best. I was a cash buyer. No special interest rate, incentive or promotional allowance for me even though most buyers got something. I was promised an $8000 design center credit for paying cash but it was taken away less than 24 hours later because you guys had an overnight price increase and I switched from financing to cash the very next day after signing my purchase agreement. It was handled wrong by your staff. Your sales agent suggested we write the purchase agreement for financing as I was undecided as I could always switch to cash if I decided to. The very next day I decided I’d pay cash and take the $8000 studio credit…. And all the sudden that credit was no longer available. That was wrong and I will not recommend KB to anyone because of it. Some design center choices were very limited and the option prices were excessive. But, it was convenient one-stop shopping. The inability to even have my closet shelves installed a little higher or lower was irritating. Not having input on what $5 plants got stuck in my front yard was disappointing. KB has a successful formula and cranks out thousands of homes with their system. But, homeowners would probably like to see a little more flexibility from the builder. The finished neighborhood is not that nice. Perhaps KB should charge an extra $500 but provide nicer front yard landscaping. Optional pavers, side yard and backyard landscaping packages would provide a more consistent look and a nicer neighborhood thus making for a better finished product. ... More

Buying new home is a major milestone . it's important to enjoy the process and Celebrate each step along the way. KB Home delivered on their promise on value and customer service. As a first-time homebuyer, the process was very transparent and quite simple. The superintendent and construction team specifically has been there for every single question or issue I may have had, and they responded fast and efficient. Mike (sale counselor) was amazing during the whole buying process. He was responsive at all times and days. He ensured to look into any questions I had and provide a timely response or forward requested information. Even after the sale office closed, he still ensured to stay in touch and provide support as needed. Robert and Harrison have been following up with me since the construction was completed and sending pictures. Jason (loan officer) was great and made sure to take the time to explain everything to me and really went above and beyond to help make sure I had a rate that was good and a payment I was happy with. ... I had no issues or problems during my buying process. Everything was smooth and perfect.

Very low stress experience because sales agent was very helpful and NOT pushy. The same was true of the loan officer.
