I like my KB townhome a great deal and find that the building is high quality and the supervisor is extremely helpful as I transition through the buying, moving and living process. I am extremely disappointed in KB home loan who sold the loan within two weeks and the Second lending institution sold the loan again. Two months living here and three banks. It’s outrageous that customers have to go through the inconvenience of chasing banks to pay their mortgage. This needs to be rethought and changed to focus on the Customer/buyer experience and not the money grab that comes with the continuous selling of mortgage loans. We were both amazed at the professionalism and attention we received from everyone we encountered. From the buying experience to move-in to quality of the home to follow-up…all has been great.

Process was easy. Small attention to details are lacking (caulking, paint, exterior details, etc). Overall, not bad.

From the first meeting to the last, the people were responsive, caring and problem solvers. The KB team is committed to making the building experience stress less.

Had a great experience with Manny. I’m sales side of the process. Had a great experience with Mark the builder side of the process. They had both been very responsive during the build process of the home and after Closing.

We had a great first time buying experience

To start, I considered other builders in the Winchester California area. The value proposition was low. For instance, there were very limited, if any, customization options. KB has a full design studio and I made the house in my style. Upgrade prices are reasonable. My sales consultant Olga stood by me from day one until closing. She provided regular updates and photos. She was always available to take my calls. The quality of the home is exceptional and the craftsmanship second to none. CJ is the post closing person who is available to answer questions. I have recently been having to deal with a gap in the insurance covers that was supposed to be paid by the lender/title company causing me to have to be wasting time on the phone because someone dropped the ball on your end. Not very pleased with this. I am not the first person that has bought a home which required wind and hail coverage so I’m pretty sure this company has dealt with knowing that there is no grace period with a new policy and so you all should have paid the policy on the due date as specified on all the paperwork that was sent to you days prior to closing. Wish you could put in more quality products. Kind of cheap.

We purchased a KB Home in Las Vegas and had a great experience. We purchased a more expensive home in Florida and it has been a total disaster from the day we got here.

Kb homes built us our dream home exactly the way we wanted. We were able to be part of the build process from start to finish.

KB Home impressed us with the speed of the build process. We were constantly informed of progress with regular updates, and the team was always responsive to our questions. We're thrilled with our beautiful new home and the quality of construction.

Home buying is not an easy process. There’s always issues. The main problem I had was that communication with the loan officer was absolutely terrible. It took days to get a response, but then I was called several times and rushed to submit items. I had two different loan officers, one was great (I believe his name was Josh) and the other is the one I had issues with. My main loan officer, Dais, would call me at the end of the business day and even if I called back 2 minutes after missing her call, I would get no response until end of business day the next day. My realtor would reach out to her and she got a response, but I wouldn’t. The processor was even worse. She made several mistakes caught by others, did not apologize for any of them, and made me jump through extra hoops that were not necessary. As far as the construction, several items were wrong. Some were fixed, others weren’t and it took forever to get them fixed. I do not believe the home was worth the price. I received little to no amenities. For example, other companies provide a garage door opener, window blinds, and even a basic refrigerator for the same price that I purchased this home for. I did not receive any of those items. Other homes are going for the same price, in the same location, are larger and come with those amenities. Unfortunately, I felt like I was too far along in the process to go with another company. The reason why I gave this review two stars is because Val, the sales rep, was/is awesome! He always got back to me in a timely response. Every team was very friendly and loved the overall experience

While many of the folks we’ve worked with throughout the buying process (from sales, to design, through building, to closing & post-move in) have been WONDERFUL.. our overall experience has left much to be desired. Disappointed with the quality of appliances - even though we purchased the gourmet option and upgraded appliances). And if you work from home, have kids, or simply enjoy spending time in your backyard… DO NOT buy a lot/home if there will be homes under construction within 7-10 lots in either direction. The trades do not respect homeowners and blare their music all day - and on Saturdays. We have lived here for 2 months and have yet to be able to keep our windows open most of the time. We spoke with the neighbor 3 doors down from us that closed about a week before us - and they said they’ve complained numerous times as well - to no avail. Construction noise is to be expected for sure - but blaring mariachi music is ridiculous. Lastly, not everyone takes much pride in ownership? Lawns are overgrown, weeds. Many folks buy into an HOA community for the pleasant aesthetic and some here just don’t care. I wish we had picked a different community; but fingers crossed that things improve. ... More

Auburns construction workers have been really great about coming to my home to make sure I am satisfied with my new home. They have come multiple times to either fix or answer questions I might have around my home.

My home buying experience was great! I had the privilege to work with Jaime and Edie. Both of them were great! They were always ready to answer my questions at anytime and provide support. I enjoyed working with them. They made purchasing my first house easier. Thank you!

We had the best sales person Lisa and then our contractor Tony was amazing updating us the process of the home and also our warranty person Mark he is top anything that needs to be done once I call him he response quickly. KB Homes is a great builder to buy a new home and prices are reasonable and affordable.

There were minor problems with the homes like any other product. Nothing is perfect. What made it exceptional were the people like Kyle, Hector and Anthony who responded immediately and did the repairs. This is what makes KB homes excellent.

Poor quality and upgrades are way expensive.

Overall the experience was great! If possible I would go through KB once again. I even am telling family and friends to go through KB.

Stages pretty good for a month later couldn’t get in touch of the engineer

From the beginning of the process to the end, it was excellent. Keep you update on all the steps. Highly recommend. A++++
