Our overall experience buying our new home from kb was a great experience...

It was a good experience buying a house with KB. Cindy helped us a lot in order to get loan approval. And maintenance team was really helpful and worked fast as well.

Buyer beware. House was great, great building superindent ( very important). Land services were shoddy. Landscaping was terrible. Lot not level, large drop off but on my property.

We recently completed a home purchase with KB, and overall, we are pleased with the results. The builder was notably flexible during the purchase process, accommodating our requests and making the experience smoother. While the project did take longer than anticipated, they were diligent about providing updates to our realtor, which we greatly appreciated. However, we were somewhat disappointed with the classification of certain features as upgrades. For instance, items we felt were essential for a modern home, such as LED lighting in the rooms, were considered upgrades. We believe such features should be standard in today's housing market. Despite these points, the quality of the construction and the team's responsiveness were good. We would recommend to anyone looking for a flexible and communicative builder, but suggest discussing what is included as standard versus upgrade early in the process. ... More

The KB Home purchase process was very easy and pleasant.

They want you to sign the contract. Give tou the house unfinish. Had alot of issues. Until not its not resolved. Promises promises promiese BS.

The entire process was made easy. Having good communication with us was very much appreciated and made it easy for us as a new homebuyer.

Like the house like the area, getting some of the repairs done is really frustrating as tradesmen don't show or follow thru.

From the initial visit to completion, they kept me informed every step of the way. Everyone was helpful throughout the process. Was very surprised at how well my new home turned out. Looking at paper and seeing it for the first time was amazing.

To be honest, I was not happy with the contractors HOWEVER, if and when there was an issue Anthony and Mario worked endlessly to resolve it. I trust KB Home solely because of the amazing work ethic from Mario and OUTSTANDING customer service and industry knowledge from Anthony. Anthony moved mountains for us to be happy… and we are!

house was not ready when stated it was.

My five star rating across board is because I feel the sales staff Steve and Linda were very attentive. The superintendents Jason and John worked to fix and answer all problems brought to them quickly fixed any concern. I feel the KB policy of not selling to a trust was very disappointing and caused a unnecessary extra expense for buyer. Being a retired union bricklayer, I feel the lightweight stone on many of the houses including our house has be laid with only speed concerns and NO general rules of joint placement followed. They left splotches of concrete on the driveway ,there are weird bumps in our tile ,they never came to redo our paint , and when they redid our fence the didnt angle it straight across it goes up down back up then down which makes no sense . Brandon has been unresponsive which says alot considering he told me to close on the house and he'd still fix all the issues

I have lived in my house for 3 months now and I still have items that have not been fixed. Zero communication and the complaints that I have submitted have been tossed aside. They don’t care, they have their money and screw the consumer. Very disappointed in this company.

Date given for closing -house wasn’t ready. Once closing was done a multitude of inappropriate installments were noted.. For example: shower pan was installed it had a crack and empty spaces underfoot. Requested a new one and the gentleman stated it was malfunction from the manufacturer and they didn’t understand why it was installed. The shower door leaked due to little to no silicone per gentleman removing it. After replacing shower pan plastic cover not removed because it was no one’s job. So we removed it and caulking around tile and pan has yet to be redone 3 weeks later. The grout between pan and tile floor also has not been done. The walls had broken Sheetrock installed bulging the walls. Still waiting for that repair. The grounds was never leveled and lowest grade of grass applied so the landscape is uneven and a hazard. They totally made a mess of the garage floor and took it upon themselves to epoxy it to cover the screw up without consulting the buyer. The door frames appear to be the rejects so are the cheapest you can buy as you see the dents at different parts of the wood. Paint is watered down so if you pass a rag you see the sheetrock The cabinets ill painted and toe kicks 1” short throughout the house. Kyle- superintendent Chris warranty manager Johnny brought in to take over for Kyle all talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. All they are concerned with is how I was going to relate them. Looking for a ten I gave them an opportunity to make the corrections. They would call one company at a time and then book 2-3 weeks out. When asked for phone numbers for warranty department it has never been provided. Requested all companies be called simultaneously since they didn’t interfere with one another. That never happened it wasn’t even acknowledged. These were my major concerns. Advice to future KB HOME buyers- Don’t buy from KB Avoid the stress, headache and waste of time for services needed to be completed. I was told KB ‘s tactics is to waste time until your warranty is over. I believe in seeing the good in people but I guess I should have listened to the ones I trusted. Lesson learned. ... More

Everything from the model home tour, the design studio, and the final walk through eased our homebuying experience.

It was a very good experience buying a new home in a new state. Very patient, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff all around.

Excellent builder, Good price

Our builder Aron was very informative. Aron kept us informed of the building process. At of all the staff we interacted with the KB Family, Aron was the most responsive. We communicated so much that he almost felt like family. He will be missed.

The sales person was very helpful. I was disappointed with the fencing. The ground was not level so the fencing between neighbors is not even. They made the fence gates between neighbors higher then the other. The heights of the fences between the houses is high and low. Like the ground is uneven. There are gaps below the fence. I can’t even let the dog out for fear he will slip under the gate and get out. And the space on one side of the house is average and the other side is very narrow. The smaller side has the adjacent fence higher so we HAVE to put a retaining wall otherwise when it rain the mud will roll down and wash the dirt from under the fence and it will leave a gap. Some of the walls in the bathroom are flat paint while others are glossy. The carpet was supposed to be an upgrade but it looks cheap. More money was spent on padding for carpet than the carpet itself. The washroom did not come with any cabinets at ALL. The plants they put in the front yard were sporadically placed. And just random plants put in. I was told The home owners association was supposed to keep up the bark and weeds. We are paying almost $200 and yet the bark has no weed blocker laid down prior to placing the bark. And no one has come around to pull weeds. I have had to pull them myself. Overall good experience! As this is a new home, you will need to ask a lot of questions and be very diligent in review all your property decisions. Be sure to let all concerned parties know your wishes for your particular build and include all concerned parties as to what is going to be happening next with your new home build. Sincerely,
