Anthony and Michael were fantastic to work with during the sales and project management process. Great communication and great follow up. I have built a custom home before and the first time going through the process with a larger production builder and I was very impressed with the process.

My experience with the sales and construction side was great…. However, I advise anyone not to use kb lender they were horrible I don’t care what incentive their offering go with your own lender. They dropped the ball so many times never took accountability. They will go radio silent on you at the end and leave you wondering what’s going on. I had to put my foot down and threaten to call corporate. The contractors they use are subpar. Once you move into the home getting someone out to fix anything is a nightmare. Thank God my Superintendent would come and fix somethings for me. On Two occasions I have took time off of my job for the vendors not show and all Shelby could tell me was oh we will just have to reschedule.. They have no regard for your time. I have to work just like them and I can’t keep taking off my job. The post purchase has been the worst experience God forbid if it’s something major happen I have to pray they’ll even show and kb acts as if they have no control over the vendors that they hire. ... The loan team made it easy always keeping me updated on the status and any information I need. The build quality is good, not perfect but good happy with our new home.

Leslie was very professional and communicated well with me. Christian and Marley also were helpful during my way through. Again…I was living in AZ during my build. I am currently still living in AZ, so I cannot comment on anything in the house at this time. One issue I was disappointed in was a day or two after I closed on my house I noticed an ant problem in my garage. I contacted KB, but no one would respond to my issue, except to tell me to spray for them.

Theresa was amazing, always available, even on unannounced visits. She was such an excellent salesman and truly cared to make sure we had the best home buying experience. John was great as our mortgage consultant and available even after we closed for an issue. Eric was amazing at consistent communication with the progress of our home. We thought about meritage, Richmond American and lci but are so glad we went with kb!

The builder appears to have hired contractors who offer rock-bottom pricing but deliver subpar workmanship. Since moving into my new home on February 15th, I have uncovered numerous issues and defects in the construction. The most glaring example is that even something as basic as installing a wall oven was done incorrectly. At this point, I've given up trying to get the builder to address and resolve these problems, as repeated attempts have proven futile.

From beginning to end the experience was awesome. Everyone was responsive and timely. The process was long but easy. I would definitely recommend kb.

Few minor problems got fix but took time more than we expected. Couple major problems, some were already fixed, one looks like won't be able to get fixed. Construction next door leaves debris, splashes, etc. to our property.
