Great sales staff. Finished our home faster than anticipated.

I think KB could use some updates with the kitchen appliances that they choose as well as updating the kitchen counter tops to give everything a more modern look, quality door knobs is a must!

Don't buy one is my advice.

This entire process has been a nightmare. The process started out great when Dave the manger was in control. Then the process took a down fall once he was removed. Things were being broken in the house, delays due to wrong forms being filled out wrong. The worst was moving in house there were things still not tixed, like the broken concrete in the front of the house side walk, broken windows, no locks on the screen patio door, and the master bedroom could not be use for 2 weeks after we moved in because it was just hanging from the ceiling. Decent home with decent materials. Home price is decent compared to other builders.

Wonderful new house, great craftsmanship, great value/price ratio. Spacious, all works, beautiful. We worked very hard for this for so many years, so now we are really happy to finally be able to settle down (our 1st own home).

Unfortunately we have had a very bad experience with our KB home purchase. Not only did they fall greatly short on presenting a finished "New" home but have lacked any sense of Urgency to get issues resolved. The staff are pleasant and friendly but just haven't gotten it done as of this review. I know people that have purchased Kb homes and loved them so maybe we just got a bad crew.

I’m happy to my new home…. But when I came and check little by little I saw some of mistake they made… at first I try to inform them and they respond, after for a long time wait it only 2 visit… they don’t even update me and reply to my message I even take picture that need to fix… I know there are busy but atleast reply me if they gonna do it or not!.. I’m also a customer that spend money to my house. I’m sad I know for them that’s little things, but for me I’m so dissatisfied because that little things supposed to be fix at the first place! It’s funny that little things they don’t pay attention in a first place, so I’m wondering since I’m new and really dont know about need to check to a new build house, I didn’t notice right away all the mistake they made! I wish I have enough time to stay so I have time to check what else need to address. They even forget some of there stuff in my garage, even the things need to re order.. still in here— no update when they gonna order to replace it, I message the Guy who incharge but no reply! Well maybe because they already close the deal that’s why.. so they don’t bother to update me even care to reply to all of my concern.. PS i will never message that guy! I’m so disappointed ... More

The whole process of purchasing this house was a 9 out of 10. Until we started recieving threats to close the house or encure financial penalties, even tho the house was not ready. KB Homes wanted the closing quater to look strong, so deemed it necessary to harrass us to close before the end of February. Prior to this encounter we were activitly talking about but the house next door to add to out portfolio. Due to this experience we will not be buying from KB Homes ever again.

Not very satisfied with this newly built home. This is our second home but the first newly built and the first KB home. From the final walk to move in to now, there are still things that are not completed and we moved in March 9th, today is April 25th. I was lucky to at least have the Warranty people come out and give me a date to fix remaining issues. Overall, I would not buy a KB Home if I could go back in time.

I love KB Homes and the Belterra Community! Being the first-time home buyer, we were a bit nervous, however, the entire team at KB Belterra guided us in making the right choice in each step from deciding the lot, best structural selection options, great design studio sessions, and a fantastic construction manager. It didn't stop there, they were prompt in addressing any issues once we moved in and were quick to fix any minor issues we had post-closing. Overall I enjoyed thy home-buying experience with KB Homes!

As a general builder, my KB Homes experience was good. Great salesmen. Very personable and knowledgeable. The experience was not the same after the closing. The lack of communication was the most frustrating part. With mw knowing how the work with contractors can be, it was exhausting trying to get things resolved because of the lack of follow-through. The only saving grace was the salesman (Jim) having to get involved to try and assist in coordinating things to be resolved. If it wasn't for him, I would give KB a zero!!!!!!!!!

Overall it was a okay buying process. The beginning with the sales rep, was very hectic, and unprofessional. After the home was purchased Scott has been great with reaching out to me and making sure everything is good in the home. The only negative part was during the actual buying process. Everything else is great.

Jonathan S. from the sales team and Kyle N., superintendent went above and beyond! Kudos to Joe C. Who’s also from the sales team at the community for all his help too! Even though he was not my sales person. The house is beautiful! I’m so happy with how it turned out!

The entire process was straightforward.

I really appreciated all the emails in the building process. Workmanship/Materials: I wish somethings would have been said about the time not being sealed prior to move in. I wish it was also said (if it is said then emphasized more) that the paint will be a matte as well. Both the sealing and the paint should at least be things that people can choose to upgrade through KB. I know everything can't be perfect but I do feel that the painting could have been done better (lots of little dots on my time). Also anything that I asked to be touched up was done, however now it is just as obvious. Trustworthiness: I also feel that it should be explained that if you don't have a realtor to represent you, then KB is just representing themselves which with any company that is not what is best for the customer. Obviously this would take money away from them so it won't happen with any builder. I had a lot of confusion when dealing with KB financial and feel they were talking around my questions to halfway answer so the outcome was best for them. Value I gave 4 because they are very expensive houses. I understand that is the going rate but I feel the sale price is nowhere close to the actual cost to build it. I feel KB definitely does not use the best products (paint company they use says that they water down the cheapest paint that they buy from them). This might be standard with all builders but does not make it "Great" quality. Responsiveness: Great responses prior and once purchased. I haven't really had an issue except for sealing time and paint quality which I had an outside company do. I hope i continue to get great responsive after this review is complete as well. ... More

Great team to work with!

Staff are very professional and great in communicating. Our Sales Agent Eddie, Loan originator Cordelle, building superintendent Robert and the whole team made buying our first home a great adventure and made sure that me and my family got the best experience from start to finish! Overall, I’m proud to be a KB Homeowner!
