Great experience, good service and nice builder

My home buying experience with KB was terrible—the worst experience I've had. I felt mistreated so many times. They took almost two years to build my house. Communication was non-existent, and when I reached out to talk to them, they acted like I was bothering them. I was unfairly treated regarding the interest rate, closing costs, and even the location of my home. If I had the funds, I would have considered legal action against KB Home. I wouldn't wish what I went through with KB Home on my worst enemy.

Just like to thank everybody who was part of our families journey and purchasing this home it was a great experience first time ever and we’re so happy to have made it this far. We found KB Cadence when it was a dirt lot. We were urged to put down our earnest deposit and sell our current home to secure a spot for the new home that would be complete in 6 months. Great! However, the 6 months turned into 1 year and 6 months. In that time I had to move three times because no one could provide an accurate completion date. So much so that we stopped getting an idea of when the house would be done altogether. Agonizing and displacing. It would have been nice to have clear, consistent and (at the very least) transparent communication/expectation setting with accurate lead times way before they started taking deposits (my neighbors all share the same sentiments). Once the home was done it was such a relief. However, I wouldn’t buy in this manner again. Sue and Rory were very kind and friendly through the whole process and understand they were put in a difficult spot. Overall the home and location are beautiful and we believe our home was built with quality materials. The neighborhood is wonderful and it feels like home. However, some of the design is poor - like having your neighbors A/C unit in your backyard and a landscape drain that doesn’t drain, rather it floods instead. ... More

The materials, fit and finish are great. I looked at quite a few homes before deciding on this purchase and the value made it a solid decision. Everyone I've met from KBH have been friendly, and helpful.

Hello peeps, With KB Homes, the process from pre-qualifying with their lender of choice, the design center, ease of use for uploading documents to their secure portal, walk through, to the handing over of the keys, was a very pleasant experience.

I feel as though this experience overall could’ve been better. It was my first time buying a home so I put a lot of trust in KB to help guide me. I really do feel as though it depends on how you get that helps with the process. My sales agent was not as helpful as I would’ve thought. When I called and spoke with a colleague of his a couple of times, she was far more helpful and I thank her for that! I didn’t really hear from my sales agent much until after I was approved to purchase the home. Most of the calls prior, were me following up. When it came to the construction side, I was very pleased with them! They were quick and responsive. When dealing with the possibility of going through KBs lender, again very disappointing. The representative was super kind but could not figure out how to get me the home I was wanting. In the end, I went with an outside lender based off their hard work and my overall trust in that they would do what was best for me. If it were up to KBs lender, I don’t feel as though I would be in this home. ... More

My wife and I had a great experience and we Love our new home

Our experience with the design center was very frustrating. We were unable to get all the upgrades we wanted due to cost restrictions. The building manager ( Brian ) was awesome, he was very responsive and helpful for what ever our needs.

Good job very nice

Johnathan was very good at keeping us posted on closing and inspection issues.

The 30 day warranty isn’t that great

It was a good experience buying a house with KB. Cindy helped us a lot in order to get loan approval. And maintenance team was really helpful and worked fast as well.

Buyer beware. House was great, great building superindent ( very important). Land services were shoddy. Landscaping was terrible. Lot not level, large drop off but on my property.

We recently completed a home purchase with KB, and overall, we are pleased with the results. The builder was notably flexible during the purchase process, accommodating our requests and making the experience smoother. While the project did take longer than anticipated, they were diligent about providing updates to our realtor, which we greatly appreciated. However, we were somewhat disappointed with the classification of certain features as upgrades. For instance, items we felt were essential for a modern home, such as LED lighting in the rooms, were considered upgrades. We believe such features should be standard in today's housing market. Despite these points, the quality of the construction and the team's responsiveness were good. We would recommend to anyone looking for a flexible and communicative builder, but suggest discussing what is included as standard versus upgrade early in the process. ... More
