The process was fairly easy, I have no complains as all my questions had been answered in a professional and timely manner!

Way too manny small issues with the home

The sales person jason & supervisor Ray are very nice in response to any issue.

Life happens and I had to sell my previous KB home (Kauffman & Broad back then) of almost 26 years. So now, the hunt for a new home began. I visited 3 other builders and found myself coming back to KB. Thenchoices and options outnumbered the competition and not to mention the quality of build. It's unfortunate the housing market was so hot that I overpaid for the size of house I purchased, however it was what it was. Ultimately I'm happy and hope that the rest of my neighborhood remains nice.

The sales team and construction team were always very helpful and patient throughout the process. They did the best they could. Post move in has been a somewhat difference experience. I am not getting any help from warranty on my breaker and range tripping. It’s not solely an appliance problem. The required GFCI breakers are not compatible with the basic range I purchased for my home. I think quality assurance fell through there. A propose solution would be to request a city ex emotion to change the breakers or provide us with ranges that are compatible with the breaker. I like KB Home a lot. Sales rep is responsive; design center offer is customizable. I understand the complications of construction, but I am not having a good experience recently. I closed my home at the end of Mar. the first week after closing, heavy rain came and my neighboring sites mud flooded to mine. 1/3 of my yard has been buried since then. I communicated with construction and warranty so many times, but it is early/mid Jun now, my yard is still buried. It is hard to move around the yard and the standing water raised tons of mosquitoes. I need this to be fixed ASAP, but I don’t know how. ... More

Overall we were happy with our home and a lot of the issues that came up were handled. However there were moments of lack of communication and delayed execution with our inspector. Issues that came up before our 30 days with Tyler have still not been handled. We remain optimistic that they will get fixed. Overall we rate the experience a 9/10.

I don’t have much to say but I’m happy for the house

It was a great experience working with KB on our home. I thought the mock up was all marketing fluff but it came out exactly as depicted. With anything in construction, there’s contracting and working with other companies. Any minor issues we experienced was mostly due to this. KB Homes has a supervisor specifically for your home to make sure everything goes according to plan. When issues crop up, they’re right there on the spot looking for a solution. We were given weekly updates and it was the coolest thing to see our home be built. 100% recommended!

Kb was a great experience for us first time homeowners

The whole team performed with a customer centered focus. From the sales contract to final closing an emphasis was placed on supporting my decisions. The team made frequent contact with me during each phase of construction. All questions were answered and the time-frames conveyed to me were accurate.

The selection and purchase process was very professional. The communication was great and I very happy with my home.

Overall, the home building experience was pretty seamless and I am satisfied with the final product. Working with Juliet of KBHS Home Loans was a good experience but I did not agree with some of their policies when it came to locking interest rates and floating down rates. I had two mortgage brokers question the legality of their pay back policy if I were to switch lenders. I also missed out on the opportunity to float down my rate to 5.75% because I was just outside of my window for eligibility. For the most part, the builders were good but there were some instances where I pointed out issues or concerns and they were brushed off or made to seem unimportant. They eventually were able to correct all of the issues but it took a lot of follow up to ensure things were done proper. The design studio was great and there were a lot of excellent options to make selections from. My only gripe is the strict cutoff time for the end of your appointment. I was able to take my time on everything but my external selections. I had to rush to pick brick and color scheme and left questioning my decisions. ... More

I bought a ready to move in house. There are many small things needed to be completed before. However, after closing i found it very difficult to get those things done. Such i had to call thousands of times just to get installed sud, and other stuffs like crack, missing paints, AC check for temp differential are still not done. Customer care is another worst part. I called them a month ago which they never did follow up.

KB homes are great value for the price. Our experience has been seamless from start to end.

I have never thought of purchasing a KH Home for myself. I work in the real estate industry and have heard a lot about how KH homes being built with lower quality, cheap and required a lot of upgrades. Knowing this, but a few things that interested me about KB homes was the community is big, mostly located in good convenience location, house square foot are large, allow buyers to chose structural and interior design upgrades that must of the average builders don’t allow especially during the Covid19 time. I have chosen a lot and a one story plan building it from scratch. Overall the building process took 8-9 months which I was expected and told by the builder. Went to select option upgrades and our house turn out very nice the way we imagined it was going to. We did find a few problems with the AC leakage, and a few other small issues after moved in, but KB has a wonderful warranty team, the warranty manager who scheduled appts and managed the vendors to come out and repaired all of the items we called out within the first two weeks after we moved in. Overall, it was a great experience and I do recommend buyers to look into buy KB homes today and plan to spend $40-$60k+ upgrade to make your house looks really nice on top of the base price given (was still great and average cost per sqt) to start. ... Best customer service and very helpful and patient!

We haven't bought a home in a while so we forget the process. They made it very easy and stuff so I'd give them a 5/5. I also think the people are very nice and helpful which made the process good.

This is our second home with Kb home and we choose Kb home because of our experience with them with our first home, and this one was no exception. They were very professional, great customer service through out the home building process from sales to construction and also after closing they make sure everything is good with the home. So if anyone is looking to buy a new home I would highly recommend to go with Kb home,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,cheers

I am a first time homebuyer and was looking around for a builder I can trust. Came across so many but KB caught my eye. I have not been let down one time. From the moment the building process started I was aware of everything that was going on with the construction of my home. I mean everything!!! I got to customize the house on the inside the way I wanted it!!! A big plus!!! Just buying a new home was so scary to me because I knew nothing about buying. But I have to say from sales all the way to the project managers, design center and the counseling you received when the house is built is amazing. Plus the house I stay in is energy efficient, these times and days we need to save on money ,it keeps money in my pockets.So KB does not just build homes just to build, they build quality homes because they are looking out for the best interests of the homebuyer needs. It was a great experience thorough out starting from contract to home building and till completion. Sales Representative, loan officer, construction manager and then warranty manager all were awesome in providing solutions and helping to get best experience in their areas. Thank you.
