I have never thought of purchasing a KH Home for myself. I work in the real estate industry and have heard a lot about how KH homes being built with lower quality, cheap and required a lot of upgrades. Knowing this, but a few things that interested me about KB homes was the community is big, mostly located in good convenience location, house square foot are large, allow buyers to chose structural and interior design upgrades that must of the average builders don’t allow especially during the Covid19 time. I have chosen a lot and a one story plan building it from scratch. Overall the building process took 8-9 months which I was expected and told by the builder. Went to select option upgrades and our house turn out very nice the way we imagined it was going to. We did find a few problems with the AC leakage, and a few other small issues after moved in, but KB has a wonderful warranty team, the warranty manager who scheduled appts and managed the vendors to come out and repaired all of the items we called out within the first two weeks after we moved in. Overall, it was a great experience and I do recommend buyers to look into buy KB homes today and plan to spend $40-$60k+ upgrade to make your house looks really nice on top of the base price given (was still great and average cost per sqt) to start. ... Best customer service and very helpful and patient!

We haven't bought a home in a while so we forget the process. They made it very easy and stuff so I'd give them a 5/5. I also think the people are very nice and helpful which made the process good.

This is our second home with Kb home and we choose Kb home because of our experience with them with our first home, and this one was no exception. They were very professional, great customer service through out the home building process from sales to construction and also after closing they make sure everything is good with the home. So if anyone is looking to buy a new home I would highly recommend to go with Kb home,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,cheers

I am a first time homebuyer and was looking around for a builder I can trust. Came across so many but KB caught my eye. I have not been let down one time. From the moment the building process started I was aware of everything that was going on with the construction of my home. I mean everything!!! I got to customize the house on the inside the way I wanted it!!! A big plus!!! Just buying a new home was so scary to me because I knew nothing about buying. But I have to say from sales all the way to the project managers, design center and the counseling you received when the house is built is amazing. Plus the house I stay in is energy efficient, these times and days we need to save on money ,it keeps money in my pockets.So KB does not just build homes just to build, they build quality homes because they are looking out for the best interests of the homebuyer needs. It was a great experience thorough out starting from contract to home building and till completion. Sales Representative, loan officer, construction manager and then warranty manager all were awesome in providing solutions and helping to get best experience in their areas. Thank you.

Over all its just another track home with low quality material & poor workmanship. There are plenty of hairline cracks acros the drywall joints where the tape didn’t have enough mud behind it . The Construction Superintendent tryed to charge me cash for a stone design that was already included in the blue prints. Matt The warranty fellow is terrible at responding the phone, text & emails so far not a great experience. A few things need to be repaired such as my front door being unsquared, my dryer braker is completely out , and also the GFCI outside patio outlet trips every time i plug something in . overall good experience while purchasing

The whole experience was great and we love our new home!

We purchase our house from Kb homes in Salerno because its located near to hospital,colleges,schools,and outlet. The prices is much lower than the other builders and we like the location.Its quite and peaceful.

The overall homebuying process with KB was great, I had an amazing “A-Team” with Justin and Daniel. Finish work such as drywall, paint, trim, ect. could have had a little more quality and care implemented within the work, but overall met expectations.

Debbie and Ed really helped us every step of the way. We were working within a very short timeframe to close on an inventory home and they made it happen. Also, KBH Finance Dept made small miracles happen in a short amount of time. We love our new home.

I've had a great experience with the salesperson - Joel and the loan originator - Michelle. They were easy to talk to and work with. However, I only got to know the construction superintendent a couple of days before my closing while I should have been in contact with him throughout the building process. After closing, I came to my house and noticed numerous issues such as dirty windows and bath tabs, and paint on the floor. I reported that but no one cared. My windows and bathtubs are still not clean. There was mold in my kitchen, I reported that but it's been a month and a half since they removed my cabinets, and haven't installed them back yet saying that we are waiting for the cabinets to arrive. ... Our GC Jeremy was phenomenal and was always helpful. The overall experience was ok. The workmanship of the trades is sub par just doesn’t seem like they care. It took a year to finish the house but not too bad. KB provides a quality product and I’d say probably the best builder in our area. I really like how they use metal posts for the fence because a lot of builders just go with wood. Once again Jeremy the GC was excellent!

I have filed 3 better business bureau complaints. so lets start from the beginning. I bought a house on a plot of land i was told I would be able to put a pool in. I paid for the land, I went to the design center and paid 8k for upgrades to my home. From there issue number 1 - I was called and told due to a pipe running under my property I would be loosing 1/4 my yard. My kids would no longer have a pool etc... They offered me another property with a larger yard for a more expensive lot premium. I reluctantly agreed. From that point I told my sales rep Joel I needed to be out by Feb (this was October) I was assured this would be ok. Late December I was told there was a shortage of workers, my house would no longer be ready until the beginning of Feb. I spoke with my land lord who was putting my home up for sale and he agreed to let me stay till Feb 1 thankfully. I have 3 children all under the age of 6 moving 3 times was not in my budget, and being homeless was not appealing either. I was assured again Feb would not be an issue by my sales rep. I heard nothing until I reached out to KB near Feb 1 at which point i was told my home would not be ready until March or potentially April. At this point i was about to pull the plug since I was essentially going to be homeless anyway come Feb 1st. At this point KB offered me a stock home on a larger lot with a higher lot premium HOWEVER the caveat is I would no longer get the upgrades (dual thermostat, tile, counter tops, lights, fixtures, water loop and fireplace) that i PAID FOR. so i took a larger lot, at the monetary loss, have to repay to put all the stuff in my new place etc but it came down to that or having to move multiple times, or simply being homeless. This was the only choice I had as I could not risk my children and I being without a place to live. The inventory home I have is lovely, its not what I wanted, not what I asked for and not what I paid for and had i known this going in I would have gone a different way. I have used other builders for homes in the past and had no or minor issues. nothing like this. I would not use this builder ever again. ... More

Overall good experience. We were disappointed with the construction manager Jorge. After the walk through he basically told us not to call him and we were very surprised Stan was great l. He kept us in the loop throughout despite the delays in construction Also the selection and upgrades customer service was disappointing We had requested upgrades including a bathroom window in one of the upstairs bedroom that we did not get and no one ever got back to us despite calls to the design center

Everything was just good I cannot complain at all.

house is great pick out your lot and not get a lot on a hill eith a yard you cannot use the incline cannot even walk in the yard and back yard is a swamp
