Worst experience in my life. I hate KB, this house and everyone involved. I’ll be glad when I get rid of it.

Construction took a few months longer than the original projection, but the supply chains have been backed up due to COVID and are still running into issues. As for the house I love it! They did a great job, have amazing warranties, and were lovely to work with!

My experience With Kimberly is top notch! She kept me I informed with the knowledge presented! She explained the process along with realistic timeframe as other folks cannot grasp the concept. Clint was the guy who would update me during the build but after 3 months never heard from him again about the progress. It took almost 11 months for the home to be built due to the market and times. Jeremy, superintendent, knocked it out the ball park with giving me the walkthrough and taping stuff prior to close. Jeremy did his absolute best to get things addressed with folks building the homes and even after closing they are coming out to fix when Jeremy and I follow up with each other. KB Finance needs to communicate in full and not have someone agree to a long term lock without informing the cost of it. The folks who built the homes in my community are having issues as we came together and shared things but it happens. KB is a great home builder they just need to assess who they hire to build the homes as the tile folks hired didn’t seem to care much about the work done as some of my tiles are not lined up, cracked and damaged. Only repairs the tile people did was the glass piece in the middle, I’m aware they got tanked. Painters got copious amount of paint throughout the carpets and texture stuff was taped and not completed. Some side moldings have a gap between them, the stone pieces in the front are all over the roof and didn’t clean that part off. Cabinets that were damaged they attempted to paint over it but used the wrong paint color. Homes still being built they allow trash to go anywhere. My complaints obviously are the ones doing the work as it seems no care since they want to come out multiple to do a task that can be completed once. I’d use KB again but I will not rush myself to close if the home has obscurities. Again, Jeremy and Kimberley are absolute rockstars and take their roles serious! ... More

Great experience for first-time homebuyers. They walk you through the steps and make sure you know what is going on every step of the way. Unfortunately, they cut corners on the finishing touches and left a few things below standard.

The construction of the home is of very low quality. Different shades of paint on the same walls. Carpet covered in paint spots, flooring creaks anywhere you walk, drywall nails visible on walls and ceilings, tile not leveled, etc. I can go on and on. It’s as if they hired a bunch of rookies to complete the home. Horrible build, would not recommend to anyone looking for a home.

Timing updates were appreciated from sales and construction. Both teams were fantastic in response and addressing concerns.

Overall great experience, we were always informed and updated as needed!

Everything was going smoothly and satisfyingly until closing approached. After multiple last-minute delays to closing, we felt rushed into forking our money over, and then we were promised that any remaining issues at the home would be addressed shortly with wording like, 'right now', 'later today', or 'tomorrow'. More often than not, this was not the case, and it felt like we were taken for a ride. Seemed like they got our money, and then forgot about us. Took over 2 months post-closing to get almost all of the issues addressed, in what could've taken a week or two, at most, for nearly every item, with coordinate effort. While we are happily moved into our new home, the process to get that was frustrating and did not represent KB Homes well We rarely were communicated with, or given proper information, even when emailing and calling almost every day at some points. We were told things were being handled and they weren’t, we were given inaccurate timelines, and we were frequently ignored. We are incredibly patient people, so even at the beginning we waited 6 weeks to hear anything from our sales rep. It took us emailing her and calling her multiple times to get a design appointment booked, and it wasn’t until we got a bit more assertive that we got one booked (way later than we were told). Issues weren’t being handled as they popped up. For example, we addressed that the bathroom tile was poorly done (overlapping/wobbly grout lines that made the tile looked warped) days after installation in October and were told vaguely it was being handled, but as we continued to visit we continued to see nothing change. We continued to bring up this issue for weeks after. When we did our pre-close walk through, it still sat exactly the same, and that was in December. That issue delayed our closing, almost causing us to move in 2023 and have to live with relatives until it was done. Another issue was that a lot of our pending items are still not completed and we are pretty much being ignored at this point. I can’t help but thinking that if we had had a better sales rep, construction manager, or anyone who was actually willing to help, we would’ve had a better experience. Poor communication, lack of information, no follow through, and feeling very in the dark during our first home buying/building process, is what is causing our low review. Elegimos esta compañía de construcción porque nos daba a escoger cada uno de los detalles que queríamos para nuestra vivienda , eso nos hacía muy feliz. Con respecto al personal y servicio al cliente , no puedo quejarme , realmente ellos atendieron y aún atienden cada una de nuestras llamas e inquietudes . Con respecto a la mano de obra , una porquería , dejaron tantas imperfecciones en mi casa que no puedo explicar , incluso después de realizar la última caminata . Llevo un mes viviendo mi casa y ya está llena de grietas en bornes por todos lados . Dejaron clavos en los marcos de las puertas por lo que eso rompió nuestra puerta principal . El llavín de la puerta está torcido , en fin innumerables defectos que se podían haber corregido . Por eso doy 2 estrellas porque a pesar de que el trato al cliente es magnífico, pienso que lo más importante es la mano de obra de la casa que se va a vivir y es desastrosa . Todo está mal terminado , para el precio que costo lo casa , pensé no tener que hacer nada en ella y ahora ando retocando gritas por todos lados aunque se que la vas puede moverse un poco hasta que se quede fija en el suelo pero igual , es demasiado , se que es mal trabajo porque estuve viendo cada detalle de mi casa desde que comenzó la construcción ... Most of my home buying experience with KB was great. Including the initial walk-through with the sales rep here at Berry Springs, the design team was very thorough and really helped my wife pick out items that she really loved. Our issues are with the quality of the build. The construction team failed on numerous occasions to respond to emails, texts, or calls. Any issues that we asked to get resolved were met with resistance or they would do a bare minimum job to try and skate by. At this point, 45 days into my home, I still have construction issues that seem to take way too long to resolve.

This was extremely stressful - starting with the price I was quoted going up $3k bc my salesman went on a vacation. Ktichen Tile was wrong had to be pulled out, wrong sales sheets, had to fight for the deposit I gave to Design Center to show on sales closing sheet, lots of errors financially I had to keep on top of. Contractor refused to fix problems pointed out my home inspector. They insisted I fly in for closing on 11/30 and the home was NOT even CLOSE to being able to close. Finally (still with problems left to fix) we closed 12/16 - Problems and stress every step of the way. Even Closing Papers had cross outs with money changes; a nightmare and very unprofessional Title Company. I would hesitate to recommend anyone to buy from this home manufacture - all they were concerned about was getting their money. We had a cash deal - we held out until the errors were corrected, but I had to return so we finally closed still with things left wrong in the house. I loved my experience. Everyone was patient with me being a first time home buyer and not knowing the process at all.

I had a great experience with the construction team! Anything I need fixed they came to fix it, even months after I moved in! Scott is amazing as usual. My sales rep Kimberly was outstanding, she was always reachable. Terrible experience with the lender team, I ended up having to shop for an outside lender.

All the team was awesome and great

It was great working with Garrett. He addressed all my concerns in a timely manner, regularly communicated progress of construction, and continues to offer quick and effective support throughout the warranty process.

I am just ok with overall experience ,materials wasn’t as expected but in studio I forget her name but she helped us to choose really good things for home and also our Leander was also very helpful In the interior many more small things left incomplete.they have lot of cleaning issue,

East Village has the best staff, from start to finish!

I provided the issues what I have seen before the closing and only couple of issuse were fixed until now. Provided all issues to the warranty guy as well and no repsonse until now. Construction is pretty below standards. It’s been littke over a month for me the new house and I see new issues which I am listing out currently.
