This was a struggle from beginning to the end! Terrible workmanship and finishing on the home. The caulking and paint job was so horrible, I’m having to call warranty office every week. I’ve already found a water leak in my kitchen within a month of moving in. My walls were cracking even before I moved in. The warranty rep for this communique has been great in responding to issues and making sure it is resolved as soon as possible but if I knew what I know now, I never would have purchased a home with KB. The construction team don’t care and they will lie their way through any questions. They are careless, and won’t own up or fix construction mistakes when you point it out. Never again! Everyone was great. Still some issue with the house but Josh has been very helpful.

Generally speaking, the quality is rather good although there is still some small defects. The salesperson and other staffs are friendly and helpful.

How did you feel about the entire process, from initial purchase to final move-in?

Mortgage team, salesman &. Warranty specialist are good but as a home buyer I am not satisfied with KBHome because builder did not provided BASIC facilities in the house like, GUTTERS, SOFTNER LOOP, SPRINKLERS atleast BLINDS.

Overall good experience. Happy with our home. Noticed a few areas as far as craftsmanship during some of our personal changes that could have been done better or appeared to have been covered since it “would not be seen” type of coverup but otherwise not dissatisfied. Sales and loan experience were excellent and needs after the fact have been quick and responsive

Get the best choices on tiles, flooring options, walk-in shower, spacious cabinet and kitchen countertops. The staff would help you do the color matches. We loved our new home. Thank you KB Home

kb home representative people are very helpful but sometimes the construction worker don't do their work sincerely therefore lot of minor issues

We are very happy the experience buying KBH was awesome

I like my new house, but I cannot deny that it has a lot of paint and finish details, it has a problem in the bathroom plumbing which flows into the garage, they broke the wall and left it that way and they still haven't repaired it, I don't I can't and I don't have time to be calling and writing to the repair technician, the yard is old and damaged and still hasn't settled, compared to other new houses that have not yet been delivered, they glued the bathroom floor cover badly and it's peeling off , I need pest control, and many details that I still have no answer

If you are optimizing for the price, KB is the builder to go for. You get what you pay for. Usually, there are no high ceilings. Even gutters are not included in the base price. The finish will not be as great as other builders in the market.

I purchased my new home from KB homes. I was in a tight spot and needed a home rather quickly. This one was available so I bought it. The craftsmanship and materials used were not worth the price paid for the home. Honestly, I would never buy or recommend a KB built home again. Corners were cut, the quality of work was sacrificed, and the materials used were prioritized in order to maximize profits. I understand this and can’t blame them. No one forced me to buy this home. This isn’t a forever home. I needed a home and this was available. I only plan to stay here for 3 years while I save to move into a better, more desirable, home. I wish I could say you get what you pay for but I can’t. I spent for to much money on such a basic home. Oh well, it is what it is. ... More

The Formen in my subdivision has been very helpful and responsible on updating us from star to finishing the home and any issues related with the house . Also my Builders sales agent was very helpful keeping us informed on all aspects from star to finish the house

The KB finance people were great through the entire process. Kept in regular communication and answered all our questions. Build supervisor was also very responsive and did his best to answer our questions and resolve minor build issues when they arose.

In a couple of words - pretty good overall, recommend.

Process was easy, but having a hard time to get someone to come out and fix or correct issues when I get out from work. No one is willing to help other than Monday- Friday 8 am-4pm. Which is usually the same time I have to work.

This is our first time buying a home, so we don't have much to go off of. Our experience could have been better. We did have a long delay on our house due to A/C ducting shortage. I do NOT recommend using their preferred lender. We did not know our actual close date till 3 days before. That was very stressful due to getting off of work last minute. Over all it was a stressful experience, but it could have been worse. On a good note Reggie and Rocky have been very responsive and helpful since we were introduced during the building process.

It was disappointing that there was water leaking in the walls after we closed. We had to live with holes in our walls for a couple weeks after that. We originally were given an upgraded oven because of backorder issues but the day of closing, a worker broke the glass so we had to be downgraded to what we originally going to get. Understandable but I wish we could have kept that upgraded model. Not all the holes were sealed and there was exposed wood that had to be dealt with after closing as well. We worked with some great people but wish we didn't have to go through all that trouble after closing. Zach was super responsive and we appreciated his help. ... More
