Everything is varying degrees of slapdash. Once they tell you the home is done it's a monumental battle to get them to come fix the things they said they'd fix before closing.

I had peace of mind from beginning to the end of the construction of our home! Extremely impressed with the sincerity of keeping me informed with everything to do with my from the ground up to completion! There Dedication to see you are content with the purchase of your new home and the Knowledge they give you all through your home buying....is a BLESSING!

The experience with KB has been interesting. The amount of time it took to build was 11.5 months (estimated 6-9 months). The quality of some of the material was below par. Repairs have taken months to complete and I'm still dealing with repairs 2 months after closing. Overall experience was ok, but could have been better with customer service. Studio team was Excellent and took their time so I was happy.

Great experience. The design studio options were great. The sales team was nice. They followed up each week with updates.

This could've just been the whole housing market in 2021. Four months after signing, our home was still a dirt pile. But weeks later, foundation was poured, the structure went up fast & filled in soon after. The default paint may scrape off easily in places, but everything else has held up well. Maintenance staff has been helpful around the house too.

Being our first home we appreciate the opportunity and the people that helped us through this process.

The lender was a little frustrating to work with. The military incentives unlike other builders, are tied only to using KB home loans. They also lost my files and wouldn’t needed to pull credit and get all new documents to restart my loan after providing in depth documentation months prior. It was for those reasons I used an outside lender that also had considerably better rates.

Since I bought the house I still don’t have my garage key I called many times but nobody cares. I noticed some missing stuff nobody cares . I have a very bad experience with kb . The seller was the best one MR Severo

We signed for the house and then there was a material shortage. KB was transparent the entire time and made it easy for us.

Everyone here was extremely helpful and knowledgeable through every step of the building and buying process.

My experience was wonderful with KB home I would 100% recommended to my friends and family, It would be a great company when they hired more Spanish speaking employees, just to understand each other with no confusing. Ill like to thank everyone for helping me thru this process and Thank you for helping me build my dream home.

Very happy with our new home.

We were promised to have closing done on September 17, 2021. As per that we sold our home in Florida. Then they moved the date to October 21st. We had to rent a home since we sold ours. All the furniture and stuff were put in a rented storage in Pflugerville. They moved the date again to October 27th. Then to November 4th. Then to November 12th. Finally happened on Nov 12th. You don't understand the financial burden we faced over renting a home and the storage. Driveway has a crack . Garage has concrete broken off in many areas. Hole in garage where sheet rock meet. Door bell was placed on the second floor which you don't hear downstairs. Toilets with cheap plastic flush handles which are very loose and you can't tighten them anymore. Also for the water pipe to come through the wall to the toilet tank has a big hole on the wall which cannot be covered with the rounded cover. Sliding door has a sliding screen and that was torn around its handle, they corrected it with silicon !!. Water problem in the back yard. If you walk, your boots (you need boots) will sink in the clay like mud about 4-5 inches. Irrigation / sprinkler guy said its not from the sprinklers and may be coming from underground all the way up from the golf course area. This is our 4th new home we built. Great and supporting selling professionals of an excellent property

The whole process was a great and easy experience

Kyle, Jerry, and Dusty are great. I received updates constantly and any questions I had were answered in a timely manner. Exceptional customer service.

Working with KB staff was great. Every person from sales, to studio, to construction was great. In fact, I had no complaints at all until we moved in. There are several cosmetic issues in our home which could/should have been taken care of before we closed but we were on our 7th closing date and just couldn't wait any longer. Annoying things like paint on the carpet to more significant things like large gaps between the siding and top of the windows which I've already had to address personally. We signed our contract in January and we closed on our house November 5th. Communication was a nightmare! I had to reach out to them to ask what the status was each week. Unfortunately, we were lied to about a lot of things including the corporate office/permit department dropping the ball on ordering our permit. Thankful for Russell, who got involved with us and helped smooth the process but I can’t say the same for the so strict job person Trevor who was responsible for communicating with us from the meadows. He had absolutely zero customer service skills. The biggest disappointment was the quality of work done on the walls with, texture and paint. Looks like my 6 year old did the work and it still looks horrible even after they sent some people out to apparently fix the issues. The overall quality of work was rushed and not done the way you would expect when you are paying over 300,000 for a house. Hopefully they will hire new people and not continue with the guys who were drinking on the job doing our tape and float, texture and paint work. Something definitely needs to change! I hope they fix their issues before more home owners experience what we went through! ... More

Sales was rude, unresponsive and apathetic. The construction crew was not much better. There were several items that were not broken or not properly installed that they tried to hide as if I would not notice. The only positive was the finance team.
