Great crew who worked on our home in Uhland, Tx

Our agent and lender was excellent and kept us well informed. Overall our home is very nice, and the selections were better than other homes we looked at.

From the first time we talked about floor plans and available lots, to our closing day, everyone was amazing. Our sales associate transferred communities and still managed to keep us updated weekly. Superintendent was very responsive and kept us up to date the entire time, and made it possible to close early!

Out of all the well known home builders out there, KB Homes offers extensive options for customization and upgrades for your home which means no two homes are truly the same. Great build plans as well. My only negative with workmanship and materials were primarily with the cabinet quality and installation and the work done to fix a patch after an HVAC installation that went very wrong. They were quick to remedy it but it's still not 100% and most likely will never be but it's pretty minor cosmetic wise at this point.

Kb do a very good job in taking care of is clients I recommend you to go with them for your new home if u need a peace of mind.

The best part of KB Home is lots of customisation choices, of course it cost you a bit but the place you will live for a while is worth spending that money for the value added to your lifestyle; it varies person to person, however, I am enjoying it everyday. My overall experience is excellent!

The entire process was really easy and people were there the answer questions the whole way through. We love our house and it was even finished a little early. There are a lot of things that need to be decided on early on, but there were people there to walk you through the process. I would have liked a few more customizations, but otherwise, near perfect experience.

To KB Home team, Thank you! Steve, Kc, Chelsey and Clint provides me all the update via email or text as their respond time is so fast. They even acknowledge that my prefer way of communication is email or text as I'm always on call for my work. They always give me updates every Friday or every other week especially during this pandemic. During this kind of event, update is what we need as we don't know what is happening. They texted me during the pandemic that they're on shutdown because of government requirement and they also text and email me when they're going to start again building. It removes my anxiety knowing that I have an awesome construction team to give me status on what is happening. We had very few issues with our home build. The local sales office, our loan representative and most of all, our building contractor, Gilbert, made all the difference. They were very responsive and went above and beyond the call. We did experience a few issues with the main corporate office and the "personal touch" could've been better. Paperwork was lost, including our earnest money check. The corporate office said they found our earnest check, but we're still waiting for that refund because we had to come up with extra cash at closing to make up for that. But the home is very well built and small issues like a misaligned cabinet door have been addressed. I would also note that the Studio process of selecting options could be a little more streamlined, less convoluted and easier to navigate. Pricing can be confusing and some options like lighting can be more expensive than just purchasing your own lights and installing them yourself. I would have no reservation in recommending a KB Home to those looking to build. Just be diligent and involved with the process and you should be fine. ... More

Our home building and buying process was very smooth. Everyone was very professional and personable. All of our questions were answered before and after our process. Most importantly everything was done within the timeframe given.

The project manager (Cesar) did an excellent job in addressing our issues. He was always available, good communicator, very adaptive with the schedule, and most importantly, he ensures that the work is done correctly and that we are satisfied. Overall, I'm glad that we bought a KB Home. I truly value the excellent support.

We were first time homebuyers and the process went very smooth. We love our home. The only complaint I have is the materials used are cheap.

The Forman Trevor was very helpful and knowledgeable about the house as it went up and kept me abreast of which I really appreciate.

First off I dont like the pre-engineered lumber in the ceiling space, but all new homes are built this way. It prevents storing or walking in attic space. Second with all new homes there are tweeks that need to be addressed Travis and Ishedro made sure to take care of all these items. Third nice little features like the side fences go near the front of the house and options to add extra outlets and lights (like in the garage) were nice inexpensive options. Fourth our house (built 2019) is in an all electric neighborhood and our new energy star certified home lived up to its certification. Our electric bill was half what our combined gas and electric bills were for the same month last year at our old home (built 2017). ... More
