Overall, my total experience has been exceptional. From my initial time working with the sales team, until the final walk through. From visiting the design center to the closing. I could not have asked for a better experience for someone who is new to home ownership.

best part of buying a new home is that you get to pick all upgrades and all other things that you want on your new home.

The staff were very good and helpful to us.

Design center experience was very good, but the building process was the opposite. We had 4 different project managers due to them moving to different communities, and at one time our house didn't have anyone work on it for 6 weeks. At a few different times, the PM actually lied to us (which was confirmed). It's been 5 weeks since we closed, and there are a ton of punch list/warranty items that are now being worked on, but it's progress. The house is becoming what we hoped for, but getting here was tough.

Excellent easy process

I have had both the construction manager and sales manager both got promoted. Once the construction manager was promoted the things that were found after two weeks have yet to be resolved. I got the info for the gentleman who was supposed to take over we met I laid out all the concerns. It was a month later I had to email said gentleman because I had no update on my issues and it took him 5 days to respond.

Kb homes are the best homes

Overall buying a KB Home house has been good, selecting the plot and model was easy. Then came the selections at the home studio, it was ok, there were some selections that they offered and some they did not offer but then when the building process began those items that were offered were taken away with the explanation of "Oh we don't offer that at that location/anymore ect." The items that the home studio said were not available I have seen on several of the other homes, it seems like no one know what was supposed to be offered. Then there were changes made some were beneficial others annoying. The build, you can tell that the builder(s) and contractors rushed through some areas more than others the quality shows and its little simple things. On a daily basis we continue to find things that were not finished or rigged to look finished. Some warranty things have been taken care of however the contractors show up do have the work leave then come out another day do a little work here and there, so you have to take time off work and rearrange your schedule for things that should have been taken care of from the start. The KB Home staff has been helpful from beginning to home closing. They're attentive and responsive to questions, comments, or issues that come up throughout the process.

The overall buying experience was a positive one. I had never built a house before and didn't really know what to expect. KB led me through the process with no major problems.

With average costs of homes in Austin, TX area over $400K this house just outside of Austin was a tremendous value with an outstanding floor plan!

KB Home representatives were always available to assist us and answer any questions we had. KB's responses were quick and complete.

He will help you all the way and will make you feel at home. The rest of the staff is super professional as well.

KB builds homes for actual families. They have useful closet spaces and their floor plans make sense. They have livability in mind.
