How basic this house is.

Every corner you can possibly think of was cut, KB homes is one of the poorest quality homes I have seen. I'm missing full cabinets in the bathroom, fixtures are the cheapest ones from home depot, my shower curtain rod doesn't even have complete hardware. The door going from the garage into the laundry room., when it shuts, the entire wall flexes. That wall is also shared by the master bathroom and even the bathroom door twists. I have video of it doing it as well. We have also had 3 led puck lights go out since we moved in. We have also had a main condesate drain line leak all over a wall ...

Really Had a bad experience with the KB home builder. There was an issue in my AC unit and drywall cracked in the living area. While on final day closing we collected keys directly from Austin Tile and we didn’t set the temperature to 69 inside the house. In return the builder is blaming us you are responsible to your house. After closing I never been at the house, then how can I responsible. It’s their responsibility to set every thing properly and currently when submitting keys to Owner. And how can they expect the Owners has to move when there was a drywall cracked in the living room. We ...

I can't say kb in general, but definitely the people running the show in the neighborhood where my home was built . The worst workmanship I have ever seen..... Like there are so many problems with this home I wish I could give it back. The people they contract with are not professional in anyway. So many corners cut, my slab was jack hammered open 3 times because they did the plumbing wrong ... I could go on and on . Stay away from KB homes.

contracture manager and financing they did not knowledge . Some place my home has problem and we had not orientation and we never get our house on time.

Current evaluation based on rotted wood fence.

Two sides of the backyard fence are made of the cheapest driftwood. Even a small dog can push its way through and 2 dogs have come into my yard through that flimsy fence. And when it rains, the wood is soft and can crumble off by itself. Why would a builder use that type of "wood" for a new home? I've been without the screen to my master bathroom window for almost 2 months now. KB Homes should follow through with replacing the 2 sides of rotten wood/fence and providing the screen for the master bathroom window.

Construction Very Low Quality and no Attention to Detail

The construction of the home is of very low quality. Different shades of paint on the same walls. Carpet covered in paint spots, flooring creaks anywhere you walk, drywall nails visible on walls and ceilings, tile not leveled, etc. I can go on and on. It’s as if they hired a bunch of rookies to complete the home. Horrible build, would not recommend to anyone looking for a home.

Delayed closing date, so I had to close it quickly without inspecting a house thoroughly. There were a lot of flaws that a 3rd party inspector couldn’t see. Moreover, No follow-up care after closing.

The most bizarre people to buy homes from. Warranty manager Mr Matt never picks his calls or responds when you have an emergency or issues with the home to discuss. They just ignore you. Absolutely terrible!

WE HAVE BAD EXPERIANCE WITH KB HOME FINANCE AND STUDIO .WE MISS A LOT THING BECUASE OF THE STUDIO AND WE WASTE OUR TIME WITH THEIR FINANCE IS NOT APPROVED WITH THEM FOR 7 MONTHS AND THEN I WENT WITH ANTHER LENDER APPROVED WITHIN 20 DAYS .THE SALES MAN IS GREAT HIS NAME IS BRANDEN AND THE SUPER ATTENDENT LORENZO ,BOTH ARE VERY HELPFULL .

We closed 2 months ago. Much of our original punch list is still not repaired. The ceilings in 2 rooms began to sag. They've come in twice, ripped ceilings down leaving us without access to the master bedroom and living room/ kitchen. Ceiling is still not right, lights are removed, crown molding removed and damaged. And they have not shown up the last 2 days when they were scheduled, so I'm left without full access to my master bedroom. I had a problem during the framing stage, but KB was on it quickly and resolved it to my satisfaction. Everyone I dealt with at KB was friendly, responsive, and professional. The design center was awesome. I was impressed by the efficiency with which KB built the home. Whomever designed the 1491 floor plan really knew what he was doing.

There home was not done the right way when you walk the floor make noise the front door it not straight the wall is not straight the concrete also not straight. I wouldn’t recommend any one to kB home
