It's a gamble on what crew you get for various trades. Some were good and some were very bad. The Superintendent should be more involved in the day-to-day quality checks and more on top of poor work. Instead, that was my job to bring things to his attention. They still didn't complete what we asked by closing.

I was excited when I first moved in, but since I've been very disappointed with the quality of materials used I.e. door handles are falling off, towel racks falling off, concrete work was terrible and had to be redone twice, backyard absolutely full of weeds and lumpier the lunar surface. I gave up on asking for all the things to be repaired because they just keep putting me in touch with the contractors to schedule and handle the issues myself. The back rock wall facing the street looks like it's about to fall over (*****) dead trees everywhere in the neighborhood access street, weed-filled vacant lots that are unkept with trash blowing around the neighborhood. It was a smooth and fun experience for us being first time home buyers.

Has several little things but no big problem always fixed in a very timely manor and qualified personal doing the jobs would recommend

I would give our build and overall 8.5 out of 10.. There are some things that never got taken care of after closing even after we were told that they would be taken care of.

It was a pleasure working with KB homes to build a new house for my parents. From start (dirt) to move-in every step was well managed. Highly recommend KB homes!

In other non-pandemic times, I’m sure the home buying process with KB would have been more pleasant so it’s hard to give a review when most of the problems/ delays occurring were out of KB’s hands. I can say that we were always heard and reassured that everything would turn out great once we got past all the hurdles, and there were many. And yes, everything was great in the end.

Experience with KB homes was good if it was not for the delays caused due to covid pandemic

They installed defective faucet in my both bathroom, it has slow dripping water underneath my sink they did fix more then 6 times still have been the same issue.
