KB Home Reviews in Houston, TX

Overall my experience could have been so much better. Missing the little details that could have made it a truly great experience. With that said my agent Tabitha was good however when she was transferred to another location it took away the attention to details.

The 4th house I got from KB. Good quality, good location, reasonable price.

The one thing that I don't like is, the utility workers do not notify you when they will need to access your property. We already moved into our home and we had our side gate locked and just made it home from shopping, and my wife was in the bedroom changing and two guys jumped my back fence, she ran into the living room and told me she was changing and these guys came over the fence and I ran to the back of the house and I saw that they were digging in my backyard. They had no name tags or uniforms and I didn't know who they were and they didn't speak English, and with all the crime today it almost ended with me pulling my weapon One then was able to say KB HOMES AT&T and I figured out that they were contracted out to KB Homes for at&t digging cable lines. They should have put a note on my door or something because it could have ended very bad. Please make your workers identifiable and start knocking and putting notes on your door and letting you know when they have to go into your back yard, so they won't have to jump your back fence. ... Bob was absolutely amazing. A true gem. He definitely keeps in contact & makes sure we're still 100% satisfied

I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND KB HOMES TO ANYONE, IT'S THE WORST BUILDERS, VERY CHEAP AND POOR QUALITY!!! IM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN MY HOME, WISH I WOULD HAVE WENT WITH ANOTHER BUILDER!!!

Seller’s agent Tanika had been great but I had some bad experience with a couple of others after discovering a water leak with about a week after moving in. I picked KB because of some friends who had a good experience at another city. Maybe it was the pandemic, the supplies shortages, the shortage in workers but they could really do better.

KB Home staff is very knowledgeable, and friendly. Great Experience. I would recommend KB Home to anyone.

KB Homes may look nice from the exterior and the salesman may sing a beautiful tune, but this builder is one of the worst and takes every possible shortcut with no thought as to how it might affect the homebuyer. The salesmen work for KB Home and are willing to say anything to get you to sign that contract and put that sold sign in front of the house! We discovered many problems throughout the home including cracked foundation, "upgrades" installed incorrectly to where they don't function properly, light fixtures that do not work or are falling off the wall, among other features. Tile in the home is so uneven and chipped I cannot walk barefoot without physically cutting my feet. KB Home refuses to fix these issues. We were extremely pressured to "hurry up and close" and were promised warranty would take care of these issues after closing on the home; however, after closing on the home, warranty flat out refused to take care of these issues. I closed on my home with blue tape where painters and other contractors were supposed to come fix things. I was told to not worry about this, that again it would be taken care of after I signed closing documents. I signed closing documents, and suddenly both warranty and construction tell me it is not their problem anymore. They are deceptive in their business practices. I highly regret my purchase. ... More

Got our home as a inventory. It was nice with some upgrades already.

They are taking a lot of time in taking care of my warranty issues.

I used to live in an apartment 3 miles from my new home. I love the area, quietness and convenience to multiple variations of stores within a 5 to 10 miles radius. Enjoy the local parks Alexander Deussen and Sheldon Lake park as well as local lakes among a 3-5 miles drive. It is such a great location and community to live and enjoy. KB home affordable price and quality in their home is something I am proud to have made the choice to built with them. The floorplan of my home is what I am happy to have selected because it is not only open it is aesthically pleasing. KB got my vote on making their homeowners happy. ... More

Best price/value ratio and KBH has responded for the construction QA issues.

KBHomes is the best place to build your dream house.

Good experience buying the house. However, the responses to issues found in my have been too slow.

Overall Experience was wonderful.

Material used for home are cheap. Blue tape was taken lightly and not fixed appropriately. Claim calls have been great! Response has been fast.

They help understand and breakdown all the important feature of your new home and help understand the importance in building of your new home

My experience was great. As a first time home buyer I had great experience with muy builder manager Brandon. He made sure that I knew everything I needed to know about my home Prior to get in it and after I got in it. Still reaches out here and there to make sure any questions or concerns are taken cared of. 10/10

Very dependable and detail oriented.

KB Homes has great homes with great upgrades for the price. My experience with the sales agent and construction manager were awesome!

I have a great experience for purchasing a home from KBHS. I will refer them to my colleagues and family.
