The team that was assembled to help me with my buying process sarah, david, Bo sales rep loan processor and general contractor worked as a team stayed in contact with me on all phases of the long All phases of the buying process and All phases of the construction David the contractor went above and beyond the call of duty even a few weeks after I moved in Thanksgiving to the KB HOME TEAM

It seems like I am living in a dream world. My home is so welcoming and nice, also the neighborhood is great.

Sales was incompetent. Kept messing up the documents, blamed us, and never looked into the possibility that the problem was on her end, which it always was. Worse, value was low. Did NOT include refrigerator, washer, dryer which many but not all homebuilders supply. Did NOT include sprinkler system, garage door opener, ceiling fans, cabinet handles which every other homebuilder that I toured did supply. Good quality (which is why I bought) and good location but no amenities at all.

The constant communication with the construction supervisor was great

The customer service is excellent and KB homes do their best to meet our needs.

Overall experience was great. From start to finish the building process was the easiest of the journey. Jake, the construction manager was very informative and communicative and kept us up to date. Any issues we brought up to him he got fixed right away. Mortgage and sales is a little different. We ran into some issues that delayed our closing by 15 days with mortgage and our sales rep was not very communicative and felt very pushy when he was communicating. But overall, if I had to do it again with just kb as a builder I would. If I had to go through the process with the kb sales team and mortgage team included, I probably would not go with them. ... Not Happy with quality of the completion

Purchasing my first home with KB Home was an excellent idea and one that I am so glad I made. My parents have had 5 homes built from the ground up and my brother and his wife have had 2 homes built, but they have said numerous times that their experiences were nothing like mine with KB Home. The biggest difference was the communication I had with the team of individuals working for KB Home and assisting me throughout the process. Jackie, Paul, Desiree, Jake, Victoria, and Shelbi were so helpful and consistent in communicating with me weekly. If questions arose, I could easily text or email them and they were quick in responding. Even after purchasing my home and moving in, I still am in contact with Jackie, Jake, and Shelbi - they have become like family, patient with me and answering questions along the way. Everyone in my team from Greg in sales, Phillip and Nathan (project managers) and Annie at the design studio were wonderful! They were always willing to answer questions and walk us through every facet of the process.

Brittany and sapna made my experience awful.Mohammed is a great loan officer and the warranty team is excellent

I loved my experience with KB homes!

The quality of the house is not matching with the quality that I saw in the show unit. The basic option for kitchen cabinets is very cheap and not made from durable wood or timber. It was a manufactured wood and easy to break. The plumbing features are not durable compared to the price that I paid for. All my doors are scratched during construction and the builder did not replace them. Instead they just repaired them and I had to accept it because the construction was behind schedule and I didn’t want to delay the turnover process. Window frames plastic / PVC made from low quality material and there is no sound insulation with exterior environment. Basic paint is not durable and easy to catch dirt and hard to clean (need to repaint and can’t be cleaned) a lot of options are not covered in the base price like: 1- mini blinds. 2- fridge, washer, dryer 3- front and rear gutter 4- microwave. 5- double switch for ceiling fan. 6- garage door opener. 7- sprinkler system. People used to eat inside the house during construction and they used to walk with their shoes on the new carpet. The vanity faucets are not sealed properly and it was leaking inside the cabinets. There is no sound insulation in the interior partitions. KB home did not treat their customers equally. My neighbor got $10k incentive and was able to book his loan rate in Feb 2022. I was informed by the sales team that I can lock my rate in May. This is way below average compared to the current prices. ... More

During construction, my husband and I delightfully witnessed a prepared pathway to our home and every home under construction. The home was regularly cleaned during construction. We visited other "high end" builders and was shocked to see the deplorable conditions of their construction environment. After move-in, we had some minor “adjustments” needed. We know problems may arise. It’s the way the problems are handled that makes the difference. The customer service team (Shelbi), has been quick to respond with good solutions. We are happy with our purchase.
