I could not give 5 stars because everything were good, except the old KB loan team were incompetence and did not co-operate to lock interest rate for my mortgage. As a result, it cost me higher mortgage at closing with new loan team. Other than that, sale, maintenance, construction were all good.

Love the new home. Staff were approacgable and friendly. Construction encountered delays but overall a great experience. Warranty program is also very good

House completion was delayed by eight months!

unfortunately we had to wait longer than originally indicated, there are several observations that you will only be able to see until you live in the house, the person who does the landscape did a poor quality job but being a contractor we do not know what agreements they reach with Kbhomes for the elaboration of the work and what materials they will occupy, on the other hand, take the time to measure the surfaces of each room so that you are sure that your furniture has the necessary space, If you are one of those who uses your garage as a warehouse, you will not have a problem, but if you use your garage for what it is intended for, I will tell you that the garages are small and a family van is at the limit, making it very difficult to walk through the garage if necessary. and opening the trunk becomes a bit complicated task Finally, I would advise you not to minimize any detail before moving to your new home and make this purchase a pleasant experience. ... I like the quality and design of my new KB home

Sales promised a complete home in 6 months however the construction team said it would be closer to 9. So from the beginning, I was being misled. My weekly updates were not always kept, one time i had to ping the construction mgr as I hadn't heard from him in a month. The updates were never complete. If 5 things were complete, i was informed about one. Sales promised weekly updates and photos and that never happened. I hired a 3rd party inspector and he pointed out issues that I then had to beg to get addressed. The best advice I would give someone is research everything and stay in top of the construction team. Get a 3rd party inspector. Loan and design studio personnel were top notch. I felt pressured over and over again to rate the team with 10s even though they know they were not warranted. ... More

I was able to get more house for price I paid

Visit your future home periodically, to detect issues in the construction process and ask for corrections every step till conpletion

That once you sign the design contract, there is no going back. Even if you want to change something the very next day. So leave some time between the two design appointments so that you can decide whether you want to change your mind or not.

This is my first home buying experience and I am happy to enjoy the journey with KBH.

Working with Chase was a great experience. He made sure any issues were taken care of promptly and was on top of things

Sales and construction staff were friendly courteous and very knowledgeable. We were especially pleased with the final walk-through and resolution of any minor issues.

Rough start but things got better.

In the beginning there were some non-communication issues with the financial part and construction (toward the end) but that was remedied. Everyone was pleasant during the process just a few areas that need improvement. There were some minor cosmetic issues with the house as far as workmanship (a little disappointing) My warranty rep Kyle has been great getting everything I need fixed. He stays in contact with me weekly to make sure all my concerns with the house are getting done. Thus making me a happy customer.

Ensure u communicate with KB Home and builder. Other than experience was great.
