I had the most amazing experience!

Overall experience was very good. Always able to speak with someone when needed. House we purchased was good sized, but lacking in storage...only fair sized clothing closets, minimal 2 car garage width and height, and though we purchased an elevation with a gabled garage, the space is trussed, and not usable for storage. With basements in Houston very scarce, you would think storage would be more of a concern in designing a home. Guess you should budget for a storage unit for kayaks, bikes, tools, camping equipment, etc.

The KB team was very helpful and responsive in all the things we inquired about the building process and they upgrade selections. They made sure to keep us updated as much as possible. The house is really energy efficient and the open floor plan is very nice. Would suggest better home cleaning before moving in and wait for ground to dry before putting on sod. There were a lot of uneven spots in the grass and gaps between some of the sod which causes some drainage issues and wet spots.

Good experience overall but we do have some small issue needs to be resolved

They made the whole process so easy and exciting and always kept me updated on the process of the build every week

Overall the experience was great! I give them 5 stars on everything. Only thing I put low was the quality of workmanship. I had to be very hands on with the home since day one (frame placed 1" to the right on foundation, house color painted in correctly, additional minor damages happening after each team visited (I.e. carpet team broke baseboards, painting team broke garage drywall, landscaping damaged garage floor.. list goes on). After closing, I also noticed some things that were not done right (unnailed backyard fences & loose door knobs, unpainted areas showing drywall color especially in bathrooms, loose towel racks).. I still would recommend buying a KB Home & am happy with my purchase! ... More

Friendly, professional and responsive staff; especially Alma and Bobby amazing experience with both. On the lending side not so much with our loan officer there were times we had to leave multiple messages and it took days for us to hear from him, maybe he is overworked and needs an assistant or perhaps they need more loan officers to handle all of us home buyers in a more efficient and timely manner.

The overall experience was good. The only drawback was the communication when dealing with the financial part.
