That once you sign the design contract, there is no going back. Even if you want to change something the very next day. So leave some time between the two design appointments so that you can decide whether you want to change your mind or not.

This is my first home buying experience and I am happy to enjoy the journey with KBH.

Working with Chase was a great experience. He made sure any issues were taken care of promptly and was on top of things

Sales and construction staff were friendly courteous and very knowledgeable. We were especially pleased with the final walk-through and resolution of any minor issues.

Rough start but things got better.

In the beginning there were some non-communication issues with the financial part and construction (toward the end) but that was remedied. Everyone was pleasant during the process just a few areas that need improvement. There were some minor cosmetic issues with the house as far as workmanship (a little disappointing) My warranty rep Kyle has been great getting everything I need fixed. He stays in contact with me weekly to make sure all my concerns with the house are getting done. Thus making me a happy customer.

Ensure u communicate with KB Home and builder. Other than experience was great.

Our sales person, construction supervisor and home warranty representative took good care of us and continued to do so after we closed on our home by providing great CUSTOMER CARE.

From the first moment that I met with the salesperson, to the walk through with the builder, to the follow up with the claims department, the customer service has been excellent!

The process was good. I found it disappointing from the get-go that if our real estate agent was not present on first visit they would not be allowed on the purchase contract. This cost me several thousand dollars on the start with no going back, despite using their preferred agents. The building process was good and relatively quick despite the early stages of the pandemic. The builder overseeing my home was outstanding and fixed everything I requested, within the bounds of KB's very tight leash. The design center had plenty of options despite being highly overpriced, I performed the same upgrades myself at 25% of the cost. The primary down point was when I was up-sold by HomePro for a internet/cable provided conduit that ended up being useless due to a failure for the company to communicate with the installers from AT&T. Make sure the landscaping is taken care of before closing. We are having issues to resolve after closing.

The KB homes are well built....although we went with different lenders than KB (since the rates were better for us that way). The warranty on the home and its hardware are honored and the customer service is genuine.

They could do better on the basic features of all the houses built rather than making every option an upgrade.

Staff is very friendly. We had a couple of issues with the contract that was not favorable, but other than that, the experience was great. Workers who built the house do leave trash laying around. That is probably the only issue I had throughout this whole process.
