Ugh!! I love my home but this was truly the worst experience I have ever had. The sales associate I worked with was not honesty, especially at the beginning about times it would take to move in. I was told 3 months and it ended up being more like 8. I would have much rather heard honest answers than dishonest answers just to get me to sign the contract. The construction manager was a breath of fresh air to work with - so that is a huge positive!! I just hated feeling manipulated buying my first home. Sales lady misrepresented what was included in base price , seldom followed up , and pushed document to sign which had not been filled out . Lax attitude from construction supervisor throughout building process Ie ( roof ) asked multiple times to inspect it and is now in need of repair . Customer service not following through on things needing replaced or repaired , requested at 10 day review ( we are 6 weeks post closing ) still undone . My name is not important what I'm about to tell you is. I used this company to find my forever home and we are highly disappointed with our purchase. First of all they do not honor the soilder that fought for this country. They told me they do not deal with VA loans and that would mean I had to do a conventional loan. They will attempt to sell you a house with shotty craftsmanship. They have amassed great wealth at the cost of the buyer. There homes come with the bare minimum. My experience with KB Homes was terrible from the start and continued to be bad through owning the home. Even after I finally was able to move in, there are multiple construction issues that weren't addressed. I like the floor plan of my home, but would not recommend KB Homes to anyone.

My home buying process started out perfect. The deal sounded great and the expectations were set high by the sales Agent and builder. I went to the design center and picked out many very nice reasonably priced upgrades with the exception if appliances. The appliances seemed rather expensive. KB Homes may look nice from the exterior and the salesman may sing a beautiful tune, but this builder is one of the worst and takes every possible shortcut with no thought as to how it might affect the homebuyer. The salesmen work for KB Home and are willing to say anything to get you to sign that contract and put that sold sign in front of the house! We discovered many problems throughout the home including cracked foundation, "upgrades" installed incorrectly to where they don't function properly, light fixtures that do not work or are falling off the wall, among other features. It take more than 1 year to complete building my house. I was lie to by initial sale person than there was not material shortage and later found out not the case. Th workman ship is terrible. I had to hire home inspector top find 20 flaws. The front and back side concrete crack before we move in. The water heater van is leaking form the roof despite numerous effort to get it fixed. Do not recommended to buy house build by KB home.

This has been the worst experience! As a first time home buyer, I would have never expected to have gone through such poor construction and customer service as I’ve experienced. I definitely don’t feel I’ve received the value of a $300,000 home. We’ve had nothing but one complication after another and it all started within the first 24 hours of moving in when we had a small flood in our laundry room because a pipe was disconnected.
