KB Homes may look nice from the exterior and the salesman may sing a beautiful tune, but this builder is one of the worst and takes every possible shortcut with no thought as to how it might affect the homebuyer. The salesmen work for KB Home and are willing to say anything to get you to sign that contract and put that sold sign in front of the house! We discovered many problems throughout the home including cracked foundation, "upgrades" installed incorrectly to where they don't function properly, light fixtures that do not work or are falling off the wall, among other features. Tile in the home is so uneven and chipped I cannot walk barefoot without physically cutting my feet. KB Home refuses to fix these issues. We were extremely pressured to "hurry up and close" and were promised warranty would take care of these issues after closing on the home; however, after closing on the home, warranty flat out refused to take care of these issues. I closed on my home with blue tape where painters and other contractors were supposed to come fix things. I was told to not worry about this, that again it would be taken care of after I signed closing documents. I signed closing documents, and suddenly both warranty and construction tell me it is not their problem anymore. They are deceptive in their business practices. I highly regret my purchase. ... More

It take more than 1 year to complete building my house. I was lie to by initial sale person than there was not material shortage and later found out not the case. Th workman ship is terrible. I had to hire home inspector top find 20 flaws. The front and back side concrete crack before we move in. The water heater van is leaking form the roof despite numerous effort to get it fixed. Do not recommended to buy house build by KB home.

Workmanship is terrible. Was a headache through the whole process.

This has been the worst experience! As a first time home buyer, I would have never expected to have gone through such poor construction and customer service as I’ve experienced. I definitely don’t feel I’ve received the value of a $300,000 home. We’ve had nothing but one complication after another and it all started within the first 24 hours of moving in when we had a small flood in our laundry room because a pipe was disconnected. Then after that they discovered another one disconnected in the main sewer drain. In total my yard was dug up three times in three weeks to fix problems that should have been caught during inspections. I’ve had electrical issues, drainage, incomplete tile issues, paint issues, sink holes, and the list goes on and on. I don’t feel my foundation is safe! KB Homes took away all the joy of my first home purchase. I’ve reached out several times for someone at corporate to contact me. Why me? Why my house? Why so many issues?
