After the closing i found some issues and contacted the warranty service department. Greg was very responsive and he immediately come and check the issues and resolve it. Really appreciated the excellent service.

Everyone was amazing to work with!

There were a few bumps in the road getting our deal done, but it all worked out. I only have 2 real complaints about the build. #1, the price to add a cover over a mere 10x10 square and the price to extend the patio just 5ft is way too high. The patio cover was out of our price range, so we considered extending the patio another 5ft. But due to the building restrictions, we couldn't do that and would have to extend another 10x10, even though the price sheets gives you prices by the sqft as though you could just get a few feet added. Since we would have to get another 10x10, that priced us out of our budget. #2, the grass. Our home was built/completed in July/August, while Houston was going through a drought. As you can imagine almost ALL MY SOD WAS DOA. I was there the day it was laid, and most of the grass was already dead. Even after we moved in and I asked for replacement pieces, we were still in the drought and they just brought more half-dead sod. Since our grass isn't covered by the warranty, it would be nice to ensure everyone gets fresh/green sod. I'd rather move into a house with the yard not complete, than to move into a yard completed with dead grass. Advise to buyers, stay on top of the things that the warranty will take care of. Save your handler's number on your phone! Other than those 2 things the build process was fairly smooth..my building supervisor Michael was easily available, Darrell was also a great help at answering all my questions and easing my concerns. ... To know that buying homes from KB homes is the best thing that happened to me, and l enjoy every step of it from the salesperson to the end of everything. I will recommend every home buyer to buy from KB Homes they’re the best.

My journey went smooth , The whole team were supportive and responsive at every step, The sales agent was amazing who went above and beyond to satisfy my needs, The only thing I would say is that quality needs to beimproved a bit but still it's not that bad but can be improved, Remaining the whole journey as a first time home buyer was very positive.

I have everything I want in a home and KB helped me realize my dream. My contractor, Chad has continued to help me with any issues I have even after I moved in. I wouldn't change a thing.

Buying a home will be stressful no matter how you do it ( unless you just have the cash laying around I suppose). BUT. the Loan Team and The Building Team ( as they are who we work with the most throughout this process) have been Godsends. I could not be more grateful for the patience and customer service they have shown and provided. My family and I have felt nothing but blessed since moving into this house and we are so thankful and impressed.

Braydon was excellent in every aspect of our build and even makes himself available to help after the house was completed. Definitely above and beyond any other experience I’ve had with houses I’ve had built in the past. Michael was very responsive to any concern we had through the whole process it was a pleasure working with him. Victoria was very responsive with any questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed to make the finance and closing process as smooth as possible. KB team members showed outstanding customer service and I am very happy we built with KB! The homebuying process and experience was great, my agent was really responsive, helpful and available for questions. The house itself is pretty good overall, but it has many workmanship issues that any homebuyer will want to get more professional work done to their newly constructed house. It seems like the skills, professionalism and quality of some of the construction workers that built the house are very low. Like I mentioned before, the house overall is good, but there are many finishes that it was done rushing and just to finish the job. They didn't take pride in what they were doing. I hope that structurally, electrically, and with the plumbing and HVAC installation construction team really took their time and provided a professional and quality work because that is the work that homeowners cannot see and trusts the builders with. ... KB Home buying and construction team were really attentive and informal throughout the entire process. With being a first time home buyer, they made it really easy for me.

Nice looking neighborhood and the house appears beautiful, however, it is best, to not assume everything works properly, as fast as the entire process goes it is not possible to catch every mishaps. Very unfortunate that we feel like renters still trying to get something to work properly and only being here for almost 2 months.

Great experience. Completed the home as I expected. Great follow up and help with some minor issues so far. Jeff and Will have kept me informed. Will has got help on some minor door and lighting issues. The front door had some gaps as well as the door to the garage. The garage door has a gap on the north edge. Will knows about it. I think a piece is ordered.

Everyone I worked with one-on-one at KB Home was kind and helpful. This would include my sales agent, interior design specialist, loan processor and construction manager. But these kind people where not the ones assigned to do the actual physical building of my home. On a good note, My home seemed to have a solid foundation, sturdy frame construction, plumbing and electric that were up to par.. But after that the cosmetic work on my home left a lot to be desired. The paint/caulking, trim, carpet, tile/grout and landscaping where overall a sloppy sloppy disappointing mess that soured the joy and usual personal satisfaction associated with building and buying a retirement home. There was over spray on cabinets. There was split trim and short cut trim with half inch gaps that were filled in and smoothed over by fat fingered caulking, Caulk and paint was smeared over dirty surfaces and even onto and into the carpeting. Poorly laid carpet had fraying gaps and holes. The new carpet was soiled with mud stains to the point that all the carpeting had to be steam cleaned. I think it should have been replaced. Both painted and stained surfaces had runs the size of an 18inch ruler. Over-all I paid hard earned money, saved over my lifetime, to KB Home who built me a new house with a"janky" interior. My yard looks like a sod remnant sale. There are two or three different kinds of grasses patched together from the front to the back and from side to side. When asked what type of grass is planted in my yard, I simply say in embarrassment, "it is green grass". Like the inside of the house my lawn is also a sloppy "janky" mess. In closing, I should mention that my home loan was originated through KB Home Loans. and I was constantly finding errors and mistakes in documents that had to be corrected and reworked throughout the process. And, because of that, I lost confidence in my loan originator and the loan process. ... More
