Great first time home buyer experience with KB

From the get go all salesman and KB employees were great to work with from the design center to on site sales to the construction supervisor, got us into our new home on the time we we’re told and given. Great experience.

Attention to detail and excellent customer service, sales consultant very helpful and always available, construction foreman also very helpful and attentive to requests and respond timely. Overall good experience in shopping with KB homes. Looking forward to the follow up inspections over a period of time.

Starting with the KB Home real estate agents. They are very professional, knowledgeable and very curtesy with the buyers. KB agent Naomi kept me informed weekly after signing my contract and after the closing too! The mortgage team manger Victoria were excellent in the mortgage process and the negotiations of the sale. I felt very satisfied with the negotiated price, incentives offered, the closing cost and interest offered by KB. The Construction Team Supervisor Bobby did an exceptional job in the construction schedule has planned, maintained the cost planned, and completed the technical requirement on time. He kept me informed of construction status weekly and after the closing is always following up to see if everything is going well with the house. Great experience, good service and nice builder

The materials, fit and finish are great. I looked at quite a few homes before deciding on this purchase and the value made it a solid decision. Everyone I've met from KBH have been friendly, and helpful.

They left splotches of concrete on the driveway ,there are weird bumps in our tile ,they never came to redo our paint , and when they redid our fence the didnt angle it straight across it goes up down back up then down which makes no sense . Brandon has been unresponsive which says alot considering he told me to close on the house and he'd still fix all the issues

Needed better design on backsplash. Should have at least one safety handle in master tub since no stepin shower. One closet seems to have no purpose, no shelves, no rod??? Normal 84" drapes/ curtains don't fit?? Otherwise, very nice.

After seeing so many builders and finally finding KB, I absolutely loved the home from the outside to the inside. My family and I felt at home right away. Few issues we found after moving in but the warranty dept was so quick and friendly to respond. Love love my KB Home!

The sidings, hardie board around the house were installed crooked some crooked in and some bulging out, making rattling noises even when it lightly windy remind its not even pass 3 months yet after closing. I contacted the warranty officer and all he said is to send out the guy to put nails in, easy as it sound, but with those cracked and crooked in, i asked those to be replaced thy ignore ny request and they said will send out the siding manufacture to inspect. I wonder what the role the siding manufacture plays here since they arent not the one who installed it and arent the one hearing the rattling noises to the point it sounds like you pickup a wooden stud and keep smashing it to the wall. I’m regretting my decision entrusting KB’s quality on my house. Definitely not gonna recommend this builder to anybody i know. ... More

Long process but helpful hands make it easier

My home-buying experience was long and stressful, yet so worth it in the end. The quality of my KB home is not great or the worst just ok. There are a lot of things I feel could’ve been put together and/or installed differently or much neater. The experience from the loan department could’ve gone much better as well. More education and follow ups regarding the loan process and expectations of the timeline would have been very helpful and nice. Overall, I’m satisfied with my home and KB’s service to fix any lingering issues.

My experience with the sales and construction side was great…. However, I advise anyone not to use kb lender they were horrible I don’t care what incentive their offering go with your own lender. They dropped the ball so many times never took accountability. They will go radio silent on you at the end and leave you wondering what’s going on. I had to put my foot down and threaten to call corporate. The contractors they use are subpar. Once you move into the home getting someone out to fix anything is a nightmare. Thank God my Superintendent would come and fix somethings for me. On Two occasions I have took time off of my job for the vendors not show and all Shelby could tell me was oh we will just have to reschedule.. They have no regard for your time. I have to work just like them and I can’t keep taking off my job. The post purchase has been the worst experience God forbid if it’s something major happen I have to pray they’ll even show and kb acts as if they have no control over the vendors that they hire. ...
