My Kb home buying experience was so smooth and pleasant! I was treated like family from beginning to end! I was made aware of every development on my home as I was out of state! Kb home staff member's are a Professional; Knowledgeable; Resourceful; Respectful and Honest team! The followup from building is also a plus! Your home is like their home! I am a satisfied customer! The sidings, hardie board around the house were installed crooked some crooked in and some bulging out, making rattling noises even when it lightly windy remind its not even pass 3 months yet after closing. I contacted the warranty officer and all he said is to send out the guy to put nails in, easy as it sound, but with those cracked and crooked in, i asked those to be replaced thy ignore ny request and they said will send out the siding manufacture to inspect. I wonder what the role the siding manufacture plays here since they arent not the one who installed it and arent the one hearing the rattling noises to the point it sounds like you pickup a wooden stud and keep smashing it to the wall. I’m regretting my decision entrusting KB’s quality on my house. Definitely not gonna recommend this builder to anybody i know. ... More

Long process but helpful hands make it easier

My home-buying experience was long and stressful, yet so worth it in the end. The quality of my KB home is not great or the worst just ok. There are a lot of things I feel could’ve been put together and/or installed differently or much neater. The experience from the loan department could’ve gone much better as well. More education and follow ups regarding the loan process and expectations of the timeline would have been very helpful and nice. Overall, I’m satisfied with my home and KB’s service to fix any lingering issues.

My experience with the sales and construction side was great…. However, I advise anyone not to use kb lender they were horrible I don’t care what incentive their offering go with your own lender. They dropped the ball so many times never took accountability. They will go radio silent on you at the end and leave you wondering what’s going on. I had to put my foot down and threaten to call corporate. The contractors they use are subpar. Once you move into the home getting someone out to fix anything is a nightmare. Thank God my Superintendent would come and fix somethings for me. On Two occasions I have took time off of my job for the vendors not show and all Shelby could tell me was oh we will just have to reschedule.. They have no regard for your time. I have to work just like them and I can’t keep taking off my job. The post purchase has been the worst experience God forbid if it’s something major happen I have to pray they’ll even show and kb acts as if they have no control over the vendors that they hire. ... All I can say is that (KB) team and staff from sale rep - studios rep - construction manager that helping me w/ my home very fantastic and trustworthiness. My parent got KB - I got KB. Thanks KB!!!

Kb Home’s employees have great customer service

As to be expected. There were some things that needed to be worked on after our closing date. Brayden and Ash were prompt and active in getting all of those things corrected. They checked in (without us having to call them) often even after closing to ensure our living arrangements were up to par, and to that the KB standard that they sold us were being met!

As first time homebuyers, KB made the process really seamless. If any questions arose whether it be with construction or loans, we had great responses to make sure we understood what was happening and the reasoning. We also really loved all the choices available in the design studio, a way to make our home feel custom to what we wanted as opposed to a “cookie cutter” feel. I would definitely recommend KB fo other homebuyers. We love our KB home!!

Buying a home is never easy, but KB worked with everyone to get the house closed on time as promised.

My experience, beginning with Cecilio in sales, was wonderful! Cecilio was very knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all my questions in a very timely manner. Mark, my KB loan officer, and his team, provided me very good information regarding the loan process and what to expect and when. This provided me the opportunity to make decisions that were in my best interests. Chad, the construction supervisor, was also extremely helpful. He oriented me to my new home and clearly communicated information about the different systems and how to correctly use them. He returned my phone calls very promptly. He encouraged questions and made himself available if I needed specific information. In summary, the KB Homebuying experience was one that I trusted, felt my interests were taken seriously and a process that provided me good, clear information that translated into a smooth transition from signing the contract to the final closing, to moving into my new KB Home. Nice build no problems

The builder had been great during the process. The staff are wonderful especially the site Engineer. He is such a great guy.

It has been a nightmare starting with the closing that took 5 hours at no fault of my own- to a pipe leaking in the wall a week after I closed.
