Lots of issues never addressed , poor quality of workmanship. High turnover rate of employees

They have a great team and attend to the details that every new house has, but if they don't communicate that they've resolved the issue and how, the client doesn't find out until they visit the house and see that it's already been fixed.

Have essentially had to full time project manage this build and re explain and re document at least 10 times what the issues are. Awful attention to detail and shortcuts taken that are not within builder tolerance for proper finishing work. We love Susan our loan lady. She was gold.

Buying a home doesn't come without its issues or things that go wrong, same goes for a new home. However, with KB, the willingness to come back, actually show up and fix items is something else. No issue has gone untouched, they make calls, and send workers to fix everything and have stood behind their work.

Experience was ok. It is a pain getting the different trades out to fix issues. The painters were suppose to show numerous times and never communicated that they weren’t coming. The irrigation system has been down for weeks with no sign of correction. My grass was starting to die before all the of rain started.

Working with KB Home was overall a really pleasant experience from start to finish. The team kept me updated weekly throughout the entire process, which made everything feel organized and stress-free. One thing I especially appreciated was that my home stayed ahead of schedule, and any small issues or touch-ups I noticed were repaired promptly without hassle. I also liked that I was able to customize the home mostly to my liking, which helped it feel more personal and tailored to my style. My only disappointment was the limited design options in certain areas. I wish there had been more colorful paint choices available, and I was disappointed that one of my ceiling fans only came in white while the rest of my home fixtures are black. We were going to buy from another builder but they had some shady actions so we came to KB. From the moment we walked in to view houses to signing day someone from KB was always there. They made it so easy to trust and not look anywhere else.

Everything is on point. Great all around. Joey building manager is the best ever. The wet floor included vinyl roll out is the worse flooring I have ever seen. I rather have carpet in kitchen, dining room. Can i get that switched?

Overall, my experience with KB Home was positive and rewarding. The quality of workmanship, value, and support provided met expectations, and I appreciate the efforts of the team. There are opportunities to enhance consistency in communication, responsiveness, and overall coordination, which would elevate the experience from good to exceptional. My Experience Was Very Outstanding, very Thankful for KB Homes making my dream into a reality.

We are very pleased with the comfort and quality of our new home. Great location, good quality materials and very good responsiveness from our building manager.

Steve did an excellent job on keeping us informed during the building process as well as taking care of any issues we had after the house was built.

The construction process was very fast and well-organized. I had excellent communication with the superintendent, and the salesperson oversaw every step of the process—including the mortgage and the design studio selections.

Cursed is the first word that comes to mind. From the price of our plan dropping $10k right after we sign our contract and not receiving consideration for the immediate loss in equity, to a headless doll being hung in our home multiple times, to being lied to about structural integrity of brick lintel installed, to still waiting on a cabinet door from the 4th preclosing walk 38 business days ago, the experience was exhausting. If it wasn't for the specific lot we would never have persevered the journey. Our construction superintendent Scott did his best to improve our experience, but the trades hired to do the work were terrible. The paint on the trim is atrocious and looks like a 20 year old apartment with the sloppy caulk work. Again, Scott did a great job of trying to remedy our disappointment, but was limited by the tools at his disposal. I cannot recommend anyone put themselves through what we experienced with KB Homes. ... More

Our entire home purchase was very enjoyable with the KB Home staff, all and everyone that we dealt with, especially Lemont who took care of us start to finish, even coming to the head office to ensure everything was all set for the final closing.
