The grass of the house arrived dead and stayed dead. I have several cracks in the walls. The water filter for my house has not yet been delivered

We would like to share with new home buyers if they are interested in purchasing KB Home that they should be very engage and ask lots of questions in regards to the deal of what they are getting in their house, purchase price, upgrades, certain amenities they really do not need in their house and etc.

KB homes did make it possible for my family to get a home. Good team members, excellent customer service. We recommend my friends to KB homes.

Bad construction and repair time.

My home took 14 months to "complete". I'm STILL missing a doorknob, but of the knobs I do have, 3 have randomly fallen off. The ENTIRE upstairs creaks incesantly. There is a crack in my ceiling, 2 doors don't close completely, water pools in the backyard, porch is missing bricks, roof has issues, siding, large space between the cabinet and wall, no caulking in areas, flooring is cut poorly (it doesn't even meet the wall in some areas). In the amount of time it took to complete this house, its shameful to have so many issues. But I digress... I'm actually really sad about thinking about it. The new Superintendent (I think that's his title), Duane is been made aware and is working to rectify issues... I hope he doesn't leave or get moved. He's been helpful. The build was a slow process understandably due to environmental restrictions (COVID). The studio options process was smooth, with the designer's assistance. During the build process, issues were identified but corrected slowly. The quality of workmanship up to the drywall process was great. As the finer details came into install, things started to slip. Tile staining edges were not stained but painted over; floor planks had uneven cuts and pencil marking are left at the corner cuts. Caulking joints were left until after closing. Besides all the finer details on the house, it's a great looking house, and we really enjoy the floor plan/elevation. KB financial services need improvements! They need to work on their communication with the customers! It should be a clear path how they work together.

This is our 2nd KB home. We love it. One thing we really appreciated was how much we could customize the home to suit our needs. KB does a great job with this. Shoreline Park is going to be an awesome community once it is all built out. We love it here!

My Project Manager Adrian has been great to work with in which he kept up with the dates on when the house was finished and my Sales Rep Robert provided excellent customer services as well.

So we bought a house 7 Oct. we did not like the experience with KB. When they offered a high APR & wanted us to buy down the rate. We went to our lender that offered way lower APR but then KB wanted to match it but wanted my lender to do a promise letter. Neither lenders wanted to do this so this took up time. We had refused to go with KB if they were going to match it because of they could match it now then they could have matched it in the beginning. Unfortunately we had to go with KB because they refused to give us the $4000 rebate and closing cost. Then it was a rush to do the walk through of the house. We closed on 7 Oct. walk through was 4 Oct. 2nd walk through was 6 Oct & did this not give them enough time to fix thing we found or that the inspector found. We got, “yes, that got fixed” when it didn’t. The AC gate was bent and that didn’t get replaced during the initial, 2nd walk through or the 30 day walk through. So this makes me doubt that they got any of the other things fixed. We are still waiting for things to be fixed and we are two months into living in this house. ... More

After admiring KB Homes for years, wishing to afford one of their beautiful models, we finally were able to buy one for our family! Much to our surprise, we learned how proudly they stand by their workmanship. The follow-up care is unmatched!

Waited 37 years to buy my first house with my wife. With the quality of the house, wish I could have went with another builder, somewhere else who has high quality builds. We bought the home 2 months ago and kind of regret going with KB. Quality is definitely not a priority. The house was obviously rushed by workers who just want to get the job done as fast as possible. Not a craftsman home and it all shows.

The process was a little long but it was worth the wait, the Tierra Buena team are very knowledgeable of their jobs and willing to help when there is an issue, I'm very satisfied with my new home and the entire KB home team.

The customization options are difficult to beat. The price is very good also. What didn't go as well is the build time. There were a lot of delays and it took way too long. Now that I moved in, it seems like other homes under construction in this community have started to get built a bit faster now, but that is my observation and I don't have any data to show this.

Truly had a great experience from picking the home, and all the way through closing. The team was very helpful especially since we started before the rate hike and closed while in the middle of it. After reading how bad things could get, we were extremely grateful that we able to get everything we set out for.

Several delays in contract preparation, had to be redrafted due to several errors, issues in design studio where designers were unaware of all upgrade options, build time was over three months later than initially promised, moved in with a laundry list of contingencies that have STILL not yet been addressed after living here over 60 days. My 39 day inspection even came in after 45 days. Will not build with KB ever again.

Should had built with another builder in different neighborhood.

Great customization options for your home! The construction crew are great and very responsive and helpful. Just wish we would have started new build before rate hikes. Very pleased with our new home. It was a long process with ups and downs but glad we proceeded.

First time home buyer with KB Homes. Good quality homes for the popular developing area. The responsiveness to issues needs some attention; especially when assigned to contractor for repairs.

Everyone went above and beyond answering questions and repairing items that were of concern. Thank you so much to the construction team for being available when needed and easing our worries and stress levels.

Nice experience but difficult to get help with warranties

My experience with KB sales was great! From the first time we meet David from sales he welcome us and walk us through the whole process from start to finish. He keep in touch and would respond in a timely manner. Juan was our construction manager and would keep us up to date on the work being done on a weekly basis. They gained our trust with keeping to their word on what they were doing and the time frame they where working with. On days there was a delay he contacted us immediately and would follow up with updates. We where able to visit the home site on a regular basis and we where alway greeted and welcome to view the home by Juan or David. Mario help prepare our home with finishing touch’s ready for the walkthrough process. Mario followed up before and after we moved in. He made sure we where happy with the home. Both Juan and Mario addressed concerns we had and fixed items as they arise. We are in love with our beautiful home we love all the items we chose to upgrade Shannon from the design studio really brought our vision to reality. ... More

the hired workers don't really care because they can't keep up.

It was a long process from beginning to end, but nothing longer than what they quoted us in the beginning. Everyone in the process made themselves available for any questions we had and even after we moved in. My loan officer, Brian was great and took the time to explain everything to me. Lori was also super fast with responses and answers to questions.
