Make sure you view construction carefully. A lot of issues still with house. Some areas are not even. It’s been a month and still trying to fix issues.

Overall a great experience. It’s a process and there will be mistakes but you have to roll with the punches and in the end it’s all taken care of!

The excellent quality of customer service I received. It felt like I was dealing with a friend, I never felt any uneasiness only excitement and joy for the finish product.

Make sure the home is 100% complete before you move in because it can take weeks before they address the issues that the house may have. Some of the closets did not have rods to hang our clothes and the first day we moved in the central had a leak and was not cooling the house and etc.

Having a house built is painful right now due to the lack of supplies. Having said that, I had many questions and concerns throughout the process of my construction. I was given multiple points of contact and each person had quick response time with precise answers every time.

Overall excellent and smooth buying experience

We got our house eventually for a reasonable price and many things are decent. But to be a little more critical, that's what people want, right? A lot of the processes weren't working out for them whether it's financial aspect, construction, communication (with delays regarding covid material shortage and "labor shortage"), the quality of work, etc.

As a first time homebuyer, I was looking forward to the experience but was a bit disappointed with the overall experience. For the most part, the initial process was fine, however, after deciding to utilize another lender the process seemed to deteriorate. The closing date changed a few times and seemed rushed and pressured while the house was nowhere near ready. After closing and signing the closing documents, it was days before I received the keys as utilized a different lender (not KB). I am so glad that I chose this KB home

The entire buying/building process was extremely impressive. Each and every KB Home employee was a true professional, knowledgeable and passionate about what they did. What impressed me most was that I never had to ask for updates during the building process. From Terry, the sales rep, to Joey, the project manager, the communication was flawless. While each was responsible for their own “slice of the pie”, everyone knew what the other was working on and toward. I closed on my home a very happy man who still sings the praises of KB Home to anyone willing to listen.

The loan process was scary at the end not knowing what was needed to close until the last minute and it pushed me back on close dates because of not being told I would need bank transfer for closing! 4 days after moving in I had a jacuzzi jet break and caused water to run through my roof into downstairs causing roof repairs carpet, tile, trimming etc to be replaced already. Cole the project coordinator very helpful and fast at replacing everything but the workers have been leaving jobs about 90% finished causing me to keep asking for workers to come back and finish things they missed instead of doing it right the first time!! My first home and now almost two months later, I’m still getting things fixed from the horrible water damage the jet caused that broke off jacuzzi tub in master bathroom. Not getting what I paid for, I feel like at this point to be honest. I think things were looked over that shouldn’t have been. Also had to get some frame work done on floors upstairs because I was getting squeeks when walking and some uneven surfaces. That’s been fixed now but not some paint and trimming that was caused I’m still getting that done when they can. This home buying experience has been horrible and frustrating. The quality of workmanship has been poor. I have been in the house for almost 2 months. I’m on the third week of the kitchen island being rebuilt due to it not being level or square. I have a sink hole that keeps forming in the front yard. Some cabinets are cracked and need to be replaced. Plus a list of other issues. Contractors are not showing up to fix issues on days they are supposed to wasting my wife’s and I’s time. At this time I cannot recommend going with KB Homes.

Everything Excellent !! They are very responsible, attentive, answered all question we had and always we had communication. 100 recommended!!

Our sales associate, Genesis, was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to communicate with us and make our experience with KB an enjoyable one.

Hime looks nice but I wouldn't recommend a family or friend to KB HOME. Materials are cheap.. only been a month had to call for maintenance at at least 10 tomes. Walls feel cheap, boiler/Hot water went out 3 times. New floors I payed for out of POCKET have stains, Carpet is not installed correctly. When we did walked threw didn't really pay attention or can notice any of this until moving in. They installed cabinets doors month later. For a new home has roaches, spiders i don't know how and lots of ANTS I mean a lot... First day move in. Just over all horrible. Plus paying so much for this? Yeah no.. not happy.. ... More

The builder is very good when you check each stages of the building process in your house, if you forget anything you paid for during upgrades you will not get it in your house as they have so many houses they are building at the same time. Overall if you let them know what you paid for, you will get it in your house.

Make sure you get the correct closing date, before you start transferring your Utilities and storage and the rent apartments that you are in at the time

PROS: The home seems fine and we're happy to be moved in. Most everyone was nice that we worked with. CONS: The building process was exhausting and painful. We were originally told it would be 6mo from initial contract, which turned into 1 year and 2mo. A lot of headache and frustration could have been avoided if there was good communication and expectation management. Unfortunately, last minute communication and delays led to mistrust and frustration. We had to extend our lease twice due to continued building delays and misestimated completion dates. KB generally "made it right" in the end but it was not without a lot of "fighting for what's right." One might blame it on COVID or material delays, which is understandable but the communication and projected completion of each stage was very poorly executed. Towards the end, we were pressured to close before the home was fully complete and that felt like a low blow just for KB to meet numbers for the month. Easy to read between the lines and not a good look. There was also poor communication b/t KB and their preferred lender. No one was on the same page for closing dates which made it nearly impossible to make an informed decision on when to lock a rate. We also had to change our closing date 4 times due to construction delays - a very poor use of everyones time and energy. In summary, the home seems good for the value but I would be prepared to have to stand up for what is right if you want things done right. Nothing happened fast and communication was lackluster. ...
