Home buying experience was great! The house is great!

It did take time to get information or updates but so far, so good.

After moving in, I honestly won’t buy another house through kb. I find that they are a very cheap company. With materials. We paid a decent amount of many for this house and we had to get the bare minimum. For certain things shouldn’t have been counted as an upgrade and others is just common sense to do. We are stuck in this house so eventually we will do for our self and what should have been done to begin with. I will say that the workers are nice, and I liked the fact that they helped with lying down payment ext. but if I could go back, I’d be looking else where.

Love the house! Had few minor problems that were resolved ASAP. The contractor help a lot. Constantly stayed in contact and answered all question asked. Overall Experience was great!

The craftsmanship from the contractors are very subpar painting was terrible more paint on floor than on walls cleaning crew did terrible job brick work had huge gaps in brick finally got repaired flooring very cheap chips way to easy need to have all replaced

You get a lot for the money. Details and craftsmanship are completely missing.

The grass of the house arrived dead and stayed dead. I have several cracks in the walls. The water filter for my house has not yet been delivered

Great overall experience. Everyone has been super helpful and the build process has been very easy, smooth, and comfortable.

Alvaro was the Construction Super for my home in Shoreline Park. He was very attentive and responsive to all my questions. He thoroughly explained each step of the construction process to ensure I understood. He was very responsive to my calls and emails. Alvaro was also proactive in letting me know about any delays (some issues beyond the control of KB Homes) so I could take appropriate measures to minimize impact to scheduling for close and moving. I felt well informed through the whole construction period. KB honored their comitents related to appraisal values and financing incentives to ensure I was getting maximum value for my home purchase. Winn & Juan V were fantastic! Easy buying process through Winn. Juan made sure the build was completed correctly and on time! Both men were extremely professional. Only issue we ran into was with funding... I would advise using an outside lender instead of KB (sorry not sorry).

Overall the process of buying the house was smooth, material in the house are better than other builders. We love ours house.

The process was ok. The homes are builder grade nice, but can really be outstanding if you upgrade certain things. The staff is nice. Everyone is kind and friendly….understanding and patient. A good company to work with. The made a first time home buying experience go smooth.

Communication in the beginning could have been a little better, however, overall I feel I made a good decision. I love my new home.

KB Homes has been diligent to respond to the items found by my home inspector. They did not argue about any of the findings. I agree with the appraiser that this home is of average build in quality. My loan officer and project manager have always been available to address my needs. They represent KB Homes very well.

Overall great experience for first time home buyer

We have a great experience with KB Home, we are happy with our new home.

The process in buying the house was fairly good. Once the sale closed the communication about issues with the house decreased. I feel like issues with the house are not being addressed. I have had reach out at least 3 time for specific issues and have gotten nothing accomplished.

Process was easy. Small attention to details are lacking (caulking, paint, exterior details, etc). Overall, not bad.

They guys have beeen great as well as page. Sergio and Juan and all the others that have come assist me.

Pleased with my experience with KB homes

There were a few minor things which weee identified when I did the final walk through which needed attention. I was promised that everything would be made right. I can see now that promise was only good until I completed the homeboy survey sent out. Tony had made sure get a few things fixed before the survey got to me. However, since the survey was submitted, all other things on the list have been quickly forgotten about. As a result, my front door leaked water during a recent heavy storm because the weather stripping was not correctly installed on the front or back doors. Had I not been home at the time of the storm, my entire living room would have been flooded. Please note, part of the carpet did in fact get soaked and I had a huge amount of water to mop up at the entry. I notified Tony about this and he stated that the previous installed of the weather stripping was no longer being used by KB, but he has yet to send anyone to correct this problem. I was also promised a set of blinds for the master bathtub window. The company who was supposed to install them has not delivered yet. There was paint drops on the kitchen cabinets and no one has come to clean them or the sticky glue on the vinyl flooring. I see now that my mistake was in completing the big survey they hounded me about shortly after I closed. If that was all it took for my home’s problems to be ignored so quickly it makes me wonder what will happen if I ever need to file a warrant claim. I don’t like to be constantly calling to make complaints and it should not require such rude behavior to get things made right. It’s don’t know it Tony will even see this review, but this is my last chance to voice my concerns and at least get a message out to other buyers do not be quick to submit your home buyer survey if you have anything thing which was not completed or don’t incorrectly during the construction of your home.
