Would never buy from KB again. Poor quality and workmanship. Their subs drink on the job. They cant seem to get it right the first, second, or third time. Service after wards has not been any better. Had an oven door damaged at installation. It’s been 3-4 months and it’s still damaged. Floor already started buckling. They started the repair and have not come to finish.

From the start to the end was awful. I regret signing off at the walk through as I was promised areas of the home would be corrected and still have not 2 months later. I have called and text several people with no response.

Stay Away from KB Home especially if using your own lender!!

If you use your own lender, and not KB's preferred lender, they will not negotiate price of the house nor will they pay any closing costs on behalf of the buyer. We're an active duty military family and it didn't matter because we wouldn't use their lender. Take note that this is how they treat military. So once we told KB Home we would not be using their preferred lender everything went downhill. We weren't treated like serious buyers even though our lender was waiting on KB to provide information to be able to give us the clear to close only one week after going into contract. Our ...

Please don't get fooled by any of these people that work for KB Homes on promises that they don't deliver. Don't sign anything until you make sure it's done because these people only want what is coming to them and that is a bonus check on a great review that we give to them. These people put up a front of being good to you when in reality they are horrible very sad that KB Homes hires unprofessional staff to do such a sloppy job. It has been more than two months since closing, and instead of doing the things we would like to in and on our home, we spend our weekends taking care of workmanship issues. In the last two weekends, we removed and repaired drawer glides in the last cabinet installed in our master bath, and yesterday fought off an ant invasion because there are gaps 1" wide between the siding and the foundation. There's no telling what we're going to find next, so we have set our expectations to zero. Several delays in contract preparation, had to be redrafted due to several errors, issues in design studio where designers were unaware of all upgrade options, build time was over three months later than initially promised, moved in with a laundry list of contingencies that have STILL not yet been addressed after living here over 60 days. My 39 day inspection even came in after 45 days. Will not build with KB ever again.
