From loan officer, to the builder, realtor that helped us was just outstanding. Each and all personnel went far and beyond in providing us with all the help along the way. Through the entire process we kept meeting people who had our best interests at heart. From sales, to design and construction, even the finance team worked hard to ensure we had the best outcome. We could not be happier with our home or the experience.

They did a great job. Always kept us informed with weekly updates and even followed through after sale with any issues.

the only bright spots in the entire affair were the builder and our third loan officer. Everything else was horrible. We received 13 different closing dates and were cancelled 3 times by letter. Our original loan officer was terminated and our second got sick, the third saved the day.

I loved the simple and quick home buying process KB Homes has developed. I was quickly approved and in my new home within 6 months. That is from locating my lot to having a beautiful completed home all done and looking amazing.

I bought my first home through KB. They made the process easy and the communication with each person was flawless.

The house is very nice. But the work done at the end is a little bad.

Now that we have moved into the home there were some discrepancies that needed attention. KB Homes construction manager and customer service responded immediately. We feel blessed to have such caring people on our side to make our home complete.

Nobody really knows what’s going on most of the time. They claim to be very good with communication, but the communication is solely through spam and automatic emails. We had countless issues along the way that were pushed off and were told “it’ll be fine don’t worry” to include our house being done 3 months early and them trying to force us to move in or lose the house. All of the issues we had could have been avoided with communication on their end between themselves and their higher ups. They know we aren’t happy and have tried to give us things to make sure we don’t give bad reviews or bad survey answers, but I would caution any person who is going to work with KB. I would not/will not ever build with or buy a KB home again. (Not even a preowned KB home) ... More

Would never buy from KB again. Poor quality and workmanship. Their subs drink on the job. They cant seem to get it right the first, second, or third time. Service after wards has not been any better. Had an oven door damaged at installation. It’s been 3-4 months and it’s still damaged. Floor already started buckling. They started the repair and have not come to finish.

Do not fill out any surveys until at least 30 days after closing. I emphasize do not fill out that survey at closing. Project managers need accommodate buyers working schedules and meet after 5pm and possibly weekends just like sales. Buyers shouldn't need to loose pay to schedule fixes to poor workmanship and sub standard materials

Process was easy. Small attention to details are lacking (caulking, paint, exterior details, etc). Overall, not bad.

Home buying is not an easy process. There’s always issues. The main problem I had was that communication with the loan officer was absolutely terrible. It took days to get a response, but then I was called several times and rushed to submit items. I had two different loan officers, one was great (I believe his name was Josh) and the other is the one I had issues with. My main loan officer, Dais, would call me at the end of the business day and even if I called back 2 minutes after missing her call, I would get no response until end of business day the next day. My realtor would reach out to her and she got a response, but I wouldn’t. The processor was even worse. She made several mistakes caught by others, did not apologize for any of them, and made me jump through extra hoops that were not necessary. As far as the construction, several items were wrong. Some were fixed, others weren’t and it took forever to get them fixed. I do not believe the home was worth the price. I received little to no amenities. For example, other companies provide a garage door opener, window blinds, and even a basic refrigerator for the same price that I purchased this home for. I did not receive any of those items. Other homes are going for the same price, in the same location, are larger and come with those amenities. Unfortunately, I felt like I was too far along in the process to go with another company. The reason why I gave this review two stars is because Val, the sales rep, was/is awesome! He always got back to me in a timely response.
