I would have liked to see overall quality at a higher standard. We’ve just spent our first night in the house. Time will tell how well products stand up. This is my 5th brand new home so I’m a seasoned home buyer. This house did not meet best satisfaction on quality and workmanship of the home.

Customer service experience was top notch!

This is my first time ever buying a home. And everyone on the KB Homes team kept me in the loop of every information I need to know. So I had a very great experience with them. Home loan experience through KB Homes was so much easier and smoother than the previous loan officer I had. Glad I bought a home without no trouble.

David in the sales office was very knowledgeable and helpful. He always kept me informed as to the progress of the construction of the house as resided in California during construction. Once we moved in he was always available to answer any questions that we had.

The overall process was great. I'd do it all over again. I don't have any regrets building a home with KB HOMES.

There are no 20A circuits where we can run our treadmill or water distiller. Kicks out the GFI every time. I asked the electrical contractor who wired the house for a quote on putting in a single 20A circuit. $1,000. You’d think that a $720,000 home could have had a 20A circuit for a treadmill. Lots of people have treadmills. I’m not sure whether a 15A circuit would even power a skill saw under load. Every person we’ve dealt with through our building process have been extraordinary, wonderful people. We love our new home, but had no idea about the power deficiency. Sales department needs more training. We were told a lot of incorrect information. And they never followed up with concerns or communicate with the rest of the team in order to address those concerns properly. Sloppy worksmanship(mainly with paint job of exterior and interior) although our superintend was very nice. Several issues already only two months after closing. We were told there would be 10 day and 1 month check ins/follow up with customer service but we got neither. The only thing we are satisfied with was the design studio experience and consultant.

We expected much more from the quality of the KB Home. With the price and presentation, we thought that we were purchasing an excellent house. However once in, we realize that the quality is much lower than our expectations. Exapmples - a) the insulation is terrible - the wall between the office and master bath seems like there is NO insulation - when the shower door is closed - it reverberates loudly in the office - that should NEVER be the case. Ralph comes from a builder family and knows what quality is. He is also an Interior Designer/Architect and knows the business - thus we have been exceedingly disappointed in our purchase. b)Also the windows appear to have be deficient - they hold moisture and are wet at the base .c) The stair going into the garage does not appear to be the appropriate width - we have nearly fallen down the step several times. c) We also notice that several neighbors had "french drains" installed under their houses. We have been told that we also have free water pooling under our house. Do we need to have a french drain installed? When walking over the floors - things on the counters "rattle" due to the vibration. We have never lived in a house where this happens. Thank you for allowing input ... More

Bought a brand new home in Falling Water 2 and the build quality is not as good as I would expect with a new home and under the brand of KB Homes. The roof above my garage is bowed and they keep telling me it is a cosmetic defect... I am hiring roofing company to give me a second opinion

Actually, this is the third home I have purchased in the last 20 years. My first home was bought by my ex-wife, who added me to it. We then built a second home together. The quality of the homes was satisfactory, and the builders was accurate. They suggested a meeting shortly thereafter. However, I am quite dissatisfied with the responses I have received regarding at least eight or nine issues I raised directly with the builder. I will refrain from naming anyone, but I am sincerely disappointed.

1.)Upon walkthrough notice drain and crawl space, ask what's that for was told for emergencies. Now upon inspections and crawlspace, moisture and water underwater vapor. So waters coming in under the drainage system at this time causing issues with mold possibly growing. 2.) serious noise issue with air conditioning unit outside of master bedroom. The piping is run through the framing and not properly insulated that it makes a vibration noise and keeps us awake most of the night. It started to cause health issues. Bob's heating has come inspected and says the unit is running properly. The issue is not the unit running it's where the pipe is run through the framing up to the heater causing loud vibration noises all night and day. We have contacted customer service several times in reference this matter. The response is that's the only place I can put the unit and the way needs to adjust our temperature higher so the air conditioner doesn't run. Our overall experience with all representatives of KB was wonderful. One example of great customer service is there was a concrete platform off of my back patio that was missing. I contacted the service rep, and the platform was installed the next day!!! The quality of the home, and the structure of the home are both very well done. The incentives that came with the home, made the overall price very affordable. I cant say enough, that if your thinking about buying a newly built home, you would be missing out if you do not, at the very least, look into a KB Home.

We recently closed on our new KB Home, and overall, we're thrilled with the process and the final product. From start to finish, the team made what could have been a stressful experience feel manageable and even exciting. Our sales rep, Michele, was outstanding. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the floor plans, upgrades, and community details right from our first visit to the model home. Michele took the time to listen to our needs and walked us through every option without pushing unnecessary add-ons, and was super responsive via text and email—even on weekends when we had random questions about financing or timelines. Her professionalism and patience really stood out, especially compared to some other builders we'd looked at. Once we were under contract, Jeff, our construction superintendent, was always available to answer site-specific questions, like plumbing placement or exterior finishes, and he addressed a couple of minor concerns during walkthroughs quickly and without hassle. His attention to detail showed in the final quality—everything from framing to drywall to final touches looked solid and well-done. The home was delivered on time, and the punch list items were handled promptly before closing. The house itself is well-built, energy-efficient, and feels like great value for the price. We've had no major issues post-move-in, and the warranty team has been responsive so far. Our experience with KB Homes was positive thanks to great people like Michele and Jeff. Dave was great & very informative. My wife & I are first time homebuyers & Dave was patient & answered all of our questions to the best of his ability. Home was purchased as is & KB home was able to get us closed within 4 weeks! A minor issue arose in my garage & KB was quick to respond back to me with a solution. Great communication with home owners & are living up to their reputation

Had a great experience with the entire term. The on-site representative who walked me through the different offerings, the foreman giving me updates on the construction, the loan officer constantly communicating and treated changed and what I could expect to be my payments and close costs. Everyone was really involved and extremely responsive whenever I called it email with any questions.

KB made the homebuying experience an easy one. Everything was clearly explained and documented for us and the response time after move in was great. The financial team was excellent. They were thorough and very clear in explaining every step of the process. Shoutout to Neal Persad and his colleagues.

A Mostly Wonderful Home Buying Journey with Room for Improvement Overall, my home buying experience was very good, largely thanks to the excellent people involved, though the final product's workmanship left a bit to be desired. The human element of this process was truly exceptional. The entire team made the journey enjoyable and manageable: Brad was outstanding in sales. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and made us feel comfortable and confident from our very first visit. His professionalism set a high standard for the entire process. Heather was a fantastic liaison. She was incredibly organized, responsive, and always ready to help navigate the many moving parts of the build. She was a true advocate for us! Rachel at the Design Studio was a pleasure to work with. Her expertise and guidance made the selection process fun, and the materials we chose for the home were of very good quality and exactly what we wanted. While the team and the materials were excellent, the workmanship fell a little short. We had a few problems that were somewhat frustrating to deal with after we moved in, ranging from minor cosmetic flaws to a couple of more significant items that needed fixing. While the problems were eventually addressed, the need for these fixes detracted from the otherwise stellar experience. It's a shame that the high-quality materials and excellent design studio selections weren't matched by equally high-quality execution in every detail of the build. I would absolutely recommend this builder based on the exceptional sales experience, the high-quality materials, and the outstanding support from key team members like Brad, Heather, and Rachel. They are a massive asset. However, future buyers should be prepared to be diligent with their inspections, as the workmanship quality needs a little improvement to match the rest of the fantastic home-buying experience. ... We purchased the home and watched it being built. Interesting process and KB appeared to do a good job with that. We did have issues with things being incomplete right up to closing and then they scrambled to fix what was relatively little stuff; it was just super annoying to see (and mentioning them) these items right up to the closing walk-through. week after week. Som,e of the upgrades seem to lack bang for the buck the Gourmet kitchen just adds taller cabinets and supposedly better appliances. The lower cabinets are annoying since they do not offer drawers vs cabinets.. You find yourself on hands and knees looking for stuff. Argh.. There is little to no Smart home integration... I bought what I thought was a digital lock that ended up being a Z-Wave installation that, 2 months later, is still not working, and KB says your problem not ours. Again minor but very annoying. ... When I visited the site, the home was not yet built. My main question for the sales representative was which home would provide the best mountain view, and I was advised to buy lot 77. At that time, there was only my home 18631, and there was no house behind me. However, after I moved in, a taller or same hieght home was constructed behind me, which blocked the mountain view from bedroom window. now the only view of the mountain was visible from my kitchen. I was a bit sad about this change, but accepted it. Additionally, deck work began on the back of my home, further obstructing the view. I had shown these concerns to Brad as well. I would not have purchased this home if I had been informed about the potential for this obstruction during my first visit in November 2024. The primary reason for my purchase was the desire for a good mountain view, and this situation feels misleading. l feel so sad and hurt about this. not enjoying the experience afterward at all. ... We are enjoying our new KB home. Brad, the sales consultant, was phenomenal. He was very educated in KB homes. He kept us informed, and helped in the home buying process and any concerns we had, he got them fixed quick. The home looks beautiful. Chris, the superintendent, was very nice and built a wonderful home. He was attentive to any questions we had. The only negative we had was the design selection experience, but when I told them my concerns, they were very speedy on resolving the issues. After her resolution, I have been happy with the overall design. Our customer service consultant Heather was wonderful. She helped us learn about the home and all its features. I have built homes with other builders before but never have I had the communication and follow through that I experienced with KB Homes. The schedule was on time. They followed up with one item I wanted during the build process that I expected them to say no more o but they said yes. This was the only time I have had all items from inspection and final walkthrough done prior to me getting my keys. That’s a first!

I had a great experience. From chosing the home to closing. The team was flexible accommodating my busy schedule and ensuring we close on time as I proposed. They also followed up on me ensuring that everything was settled and there was not an issue with appliances and other furniture's. Great customer service team available 24/7.
