Took very long time to start the construction which resulted financial burden. But other than that our construction manager Gary was the greatest person to work with. He made the whole process smooth and stress free. He was listening to our concerns and was going beyond to make us happy.

The build process can be frustrating for any new home buyer. The quality of this product is superior and well worth the wait! Keystone’s staff is responsive and seems to be honest, trustworthy and very educated regarding the entire build process. Bravo!

Took along time but keystone was there side by side with from the beginning to the end.

Our experience to date with Keystone Custom Homes has been positive. From site selection, to design choices to construction and move-in, our team was attentive to our needs and quick to respond with any questions. Our construction manager, Chris T, was in constant communication throughout the build which made the process less stressful and more enjoyable.

Jarrod was wonderful! He made sure we settled on time!

House turned out great but took almost a year and a half. Loan rates tripled by the time the house was done.

Overall we had a great experience from beginning to end.

Keystone has a great selection of home with so many options and the ability to customize the house to our needs and we’re able to build within our budget.

This was our first time having a home built and there were so many things we wish we knew prior to starting. With that said, we love our home! We were blessed to be one of the first to buy a lot in our development and benefited from incentives. This allowed us to build the home we really wanted. Our biggest complaint through the whole process was our “designer”. She was very unprofessional and messed up a lot of our plans. Thankfully we caught it and were able to get it corrected. Some of our personal choices we had to fight for because she messed them up, but again, they were corrected. I felt like some of our (valid) complaints were ignored and brushed off, but thanks to me having saved all of my emails with the designer I was able to get the changes made without it costing us extra money. I feel like KCH needs to listen to their customers more and not always take the word of their “designers” and staff. Communication is key and unfortunately it is not their strong point. ... More

I have owned the house since October, making it 5 months of being in the house. The molding or plaster on the staircase is already separating so you can see a crack running up the steps. The sales rep David Wong made the experience less than pleasant. To make such a large purchase and for this to be my first home I knew it would be learning in progress but David conducted as though my questions or frustrations with being told major homebuilding issues was an issue. I would have had a better experience and a better memory of buying my first home and not have felt like I was rushed or treated as though my concerns were not valid. ... More

The trades didn’t show an interest in providing a high quality product. Certain trades were very sloppy and the workmanship showed. The cleaners didn’t do a good job at all cleaning and preparing the house for move in.

Overall the experience was subpar. You have to be really proactive in getting their attention. The app they give you doesn't work at times - or its an excuse for people not to follow up with you. Would recommend you resort to emails and CC all the Keystone Contacts you have so at least there is some accountability to follow up. The best support we received was from Tracy our designer. Outside of that before you head into design and after during construction you have to be very proactive in getting questions answered or actions taken.

We picked out small workmanship issues that could have been avoided. Overall nice job

House was built on a timely manner.

The house looks nice. We moved on April 26, 2022, and as of today 8/31/22 most of the punch list items are still not complete. There has been almost zero follow up from Keystone. Once they received the money from the sale they have stop finishing the items on the punch list.

I’m almost certain that this review was sent on the date that our house was supposed to be finished because they haven’t even finished dry walling yet. We have had a rough experience getting responses on our key choices app. The first project manager quit within a week of starting and the second PM was super responsive until we did our inspection. Currently we are on 4 weeks past when drywall was supposed to go in because they can’t fix the needed items. I’m also disappointed with how different and limited some of the choices were. I know supply is a challenge that everyone is facing, but it still made design a lot more stressful than it needed to be. Overall, we are happy with our home. There are a few things we needed to submit in to be fixed but Keystone has fixed all of those things. The communication on the otherhand was far and few in between. After a while, we felt like the experience wasn't as personalable and we had to reach out ourselves about significant issue we were concerned about. Talking to our neighborhood, it seems like everyone feels the same way.

Average experience. Had a number of issues which are still trying to be resolved. Quality lacking in a lot of areas, mainly finishing. Responsiveness was good to all questions raised. Experience was great the entire purchasing/selecting process. Once we moved in, that changed. That's when we started noticing all the finishing/craftsmanship issues.
