I am a single mom and was hoping buying my first home would be easy, but it was not. It came with several challenges. One, they told me the house would be cleaned before I moved in, and that never happened. Workers' footprints have stained parts of the floor. I had to call the warranty several times. The person who walked through the house never informed us of several things. Lennar homes are spec homes and go up very quickly. The contract manager was helpful, but once I closed on the house and he promised things, he could no longer help out, and I had to jump through hoops to get things ...

Going back on this experience we should have walked away in the beginning. From our final walkthrough to 2 months later I have had someone from Lennar or their warranty people here almost every weekday putting bandaids on their poor quality homes. From issues that we brought up to the construction manager Ryan that we were promised to be fixed that were never fixed to cracked cabinets, crooked walls, bad lvp, plumbing leaks, bad landscaping that was supposed to be fixed and then only have fixed the list goes on and on. Lennar Violates Home Warranty

We have not been able to use our microwave since we moved in. Since Lennar claims to have a warranty on the home, I wasn't too worried. Lennar would get it fixed. WRONG. We have been getting the run-around from Lennar since November. The breaker trips every time you use the microwave. This is a known issue with this brand of breaker panels but Lennar Builders decided to go cheap and use that panel anyways. The fix is very simple. Install a better breaker panel with new breakers. But Lennar won't do that. They are "checking with the manufacturer" every time I call them. I am not ...

Worse experience , bad investment

Home came with multiple cracks in the foundation that was covered up under carpets and Vinel flooring . Only noticed after ripping out carpet to add more Vinel flooring . If I knew the foundation that many huge cracks , I would have passed on buying this property. Poor workmanship and very poor customer service .

If I Had To Do It All Over Again

I would’ve most certainly went with another lender if could redo our first home buying experience. Bad experience from start to finish with one positive experience in the middle. We have a Facebook group that’s specifically associated with our new Lennar online community and to be honest within this review, it’s been mostly shared experiences of mentally exhausted new home owners.

The experience was horrible, our realtor Kem was not good. He did not do a good job. Lack of information and communication. Things were half done in our home. If we could go back we wouldn’t buy from lennar.
