Lennar communicated poorly during the building process. Lennar changed the flooring, did not install a window paid for in the contract. Lennar changed the ship lap around the fireplace and installed a cheaper material without informing me of the change.Lennar installed dead sod on the yard and has refused to correct the problem. My entire yard is dead. I have no lawn and Lennar refuses to install what I paid for in my contract. I would never build with Lennar again!

There were some minor issues however they jumped on the issue and tried to resolve the issue and if it was not resolved they would come back consistently till it was resolved. The workmanship of the entire house was done very well and all the issues found with the blue tapes were all addressed. I would recommend these builders since they did an excellent job.

We purchased a new build Lennar home. Blue tape session went smoothly and all issues were addressed. Had an independent inspection check the home. A couple of issues were found and Lennar fixed them. Final walk through went well as well as the closing. Since moving in, any issue that we have submitted for repair has been taken care of in a satisfactory and timely manner.

Home is great. Lending was fairly unresponsive unless we sent multiple messages.

Our home buying experience started off on the right track when Breland was still in charge. Shortly after we signed our first contract, Lennar took over and that’s when things hit the fan. Delays started happening, incorrect installations for upgraded materials we paid for, complete lies to try and scare us from fighting back, multiple project managers quitting like it’s a revolving door. Lennar isn’t a company I would ever build with again. We went into this process with an open mind and came out burned time and time again.

Not satisfied with warranty items that has not been fixed. I have no dishwasher due to damage when it was installed. I have no fireplace because pilot will not stay on after 10 minutes. Cabinet of trash can is very hard to open. Suppose to come and fix it three days after moved in but no one as of yet has showed up. Very upset! I did not buy this new house to have problems!!!!!!!

Workmanship and customer service is awful. All they care about is getting the sale and not willing to make sure the customer doesn't regret dealing with them. Which I do! Buyer's Beware! If you are already locked into a sale, go thru the walk thru with a fine tooth comb, even if it takes all day. DO NOT CLOSE UNTIL YOU ARE CONFIDENT ALL ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED. Especially, crappy workmanship like trim work, painting, flooring, and insist they get all the paint splatter off the floors. If you find any of these things after closing you are crap out of luck getting them to fix it or making it right. All I am asking them is if they found the same issue in a brand new home would they not expect the issue to be resolved! Period! ... More

Agent was not very good about getting back to my realtor on the purchase of the home. Had to contact her more than once. Even had to go to a supervisor to get updates. Issues with electrical after I moved in. But can say very prompt on coming to fix.

Great modern touch and quality of fixtures throughout

Voiced my thoughts WEEKS ago. Was told, someone will be contacting you. Right. Don't bother now.

Day 2 after move in revealed a major plumbing issue. I give credit to the response time here. It was addressed the next day.. but they had to tear the front porch concrete and brick up to fix the problem. It was repaved and bricked, but a few footprints were left imprinted in it and the new beams that sit on the porch still have the plastic wrap on them. We've contacted the appropriate people to fix these things but it's been 3 weeks and I'm not sure they will.

Let me preface this with this was our first homebuying experience. From the beginning, this process was a mess. We, along with our realtor, did a tour of the model home and from the start we loved what we saw given it was the model home with all the bells and whistles. We signed on our house around the middle of July with a completion date of late Nov. In the days leading up to our close date, we decided we would go with Lennar as the lender and builder - mostly because of their lender credits (which we found later to be honestly a complete joke and pretty much a net 0 let-down somehow with the credits being over 1% of the home value). Our leasing agent was altogether unhelpful and took a vacation without giving us a different number to reach their office while the interest rates went up an entire point over 2 days. Fast forward to closing - we arrive at our “new” home expecting to be in amazement over how good everything looks a week following our blue tape walkthrough (which was a disaster)… boy were we wrong. Blue tape items were basically untouched, cleaning crews hadn’t cleaned anything, holes in the roof, dents in the dishwasher, unpainted sections of exterior columns, mortar thrown all over the sidewalk and driveway and side of the house, no hot water, crack in guest bathtub… need I go on? Not to mention all this was on our closing day and we had nowhere else to stay for the night since we were coming in from out of town. Long story short, we miraculously ended up closing that day with a laundry list of open items the contractors were going to come back and “fix” since we really had no choice. About 3 weeks later, I guess Lennar’s quality people punched the “good enough” ticket, shrugged their shoulders and left us in the dust to fill out countless maintenance requests through their terrible online system to come fix the unfinished work. So, here we are 2 months in and our light fixtures are starting to flicker in almost EVERY room, exterior paint is deteriorating, our entire front yard is destroyed and has been for about 3 weeks now while contractors have been “hard at work” putting in a sewage cap which I could have replaced in a few hours. All in all, grateful to be moved in with the craziness behind us, but disappointed as a whole in regards to the quality and care put in to building these houses and customer support promising the world and severely underdelivering. The house was supposed to be ready in September or early October but wasn’t finished until late December. The home is well made but the granite had a huge stain/black mark and we needed to get it replaced on our own, they said it was natural, even tho everyone that saw it said it was ugly.Also, I was told they would “make it happen” to get us a refrigerator and when it came time the agent said no. In the beginning I said we did not want to close in December as this was to be a rental and we wanted to rent it out in October. Our money was tired up for three extra months longer then we were told then leaving us in a different rental market and during the holidays. Our only choice was to walk away from our large deposit or close during the holidays. ... More

I love my new home!

Overall quality of work is not present. I did not expect perfection but there are definitely items that lack attention to detail. Overall staff is friendly and accommodating. I would have liked to see better quality paint and finishes in the home.

First time home buyer. I chose my own realtor and mortgage company instead of what was offered by Lennar, and I'm glad I did. Their preferred lender was not very responsive when I tried to get pre-approval. Estimated completion for the house was relatively on target (2 week push back). My realtor had to press regularly to get updates from Lennar, which did get better towards completion. Inspections were on time and everything was ready at the final walk. All discrepancies were addressed, but more flaws and quality issues were discovered after closing. The house was not cleaned very well. Door frames, window frames, base boards, tile floors still had red dirt that need to be scrubbed off. Obviously there's going to be lots of dust and dirt from construction. But it seemed like there was no effort to actually clean any surface. One window had glass shards in the frame from previously broken glass. Random wood pieces and hardware like screws and nails were found in random places throughout the house. Quality of caulking/sealing in bathroom and kitchen is poor. Not sure why outlets with co-axial and ethernet wiring didn't have connectors. Plenty of misalignment on outlets, switches, panels, and frames. Already had to ask for some minor warrant work. To their credit, Lennar was very responsive but the quality of the work by some of the contractors could be better. One big issue I had was a sewage back up 3 days after moving in. Toilets and tubs had brown water leaking back in. Apparently the sewer pipe leading directly out of the house had a blocking plate that was not removed. Where Lennar could improve is better choice of contractors and better oversight of their contractors. There could be more care and attention. Buying with Karen at Lennar was a breeze. She made it an easy process. We have had a few issues since then and let’s just say we have felt the same respect that we had with Karen. You lost a good one

Not a happy experience for my first new home.
