I absolutely love the Aberdeen Community in Foley, AL. By the time this community is finished, I honestly believe my investment will increase with the value of the homes going up in the next 2 years.

First time purchasing a brand spanking new home and I think we were wowed by the glitz and didn’t pay enough attention to the finishing. A lot could be improved there. But overall it’s an o.k. kinda place that should serve us well.

Our home-buying experience with Lennar was generally smooth, but there were a few hiccups along the way. The process itself was straightforward, and we were pleased with how everything was handled—except for our interactions with Cindy, our loan processor. Unfortunately, Cindy lacked customer service skills and was extremely rude, which made that part of the process stressful and frustrating. However, Nicole, our loan officer, truly saved the day. I'm a 77yr old widow who moved here from ga. Actually did everything on line except for closing and I could have done that on line also. The Lennar team helped me every step of the way. Aberdeen is close to the beach and is perfect for retired people. I love it.

Perfect Deal at the Right Time!

I waited for nearly 12 months until interest rates became affordable. Lennar's offer and interest rate made the perfect deal at the right time. I couldn't afford not to jump on the 4.7% interest rate offered by Lennar in a prime location. This is my second Lennar purchase. The second time was nearly the same process and perfect experience. My sales consultant Jennifer made sure other options were include in my price point. She was amazing. Love Lennar's style and concept!

Low quality materials used - especially the flooring Home came with very little- needed sprinkler system and gutters No towel racks or toilet paper holders There was phone jacks in kitchen and bedroom- need I say more I even had a roof leak first month None of their contractors spoke English But construction manager was excellent in responding to needed fixes

We got a lot of square footage for the money and a nice-sized lot. Some nice material selections and others not so much. Still waiting for punch list items from the closing (2 months now) to be addressed. Reached out to my contact and haven't heard back. We used to own a Truland Home (before DR Horton bought them). Lennar doesn't come anywhere close to that quality or experience.

The only problem is that Lennar homes is not enforcing the covenants we have trailers that are parked in the yards that have been in there for over two months. One is a pink horse trailer on Bonanza Street. This really needs to be taken care of.

Gaye was more than helpful with everything that we needed to know. She went beyond expectations with us from the first day that we met until the end of the business deal. We would have probably bought a different house; however, my wife and I knew that we were in good hands if we continued to work with Gaye at Lennar.

Interior paint not well done. The house at closing was not clean. There was trash and building materials in the garage at closing. I had dispose of trash and building materials just to park in the garage. Lennar could do better but it doesn’t seem like they care.

From the minute we viewed our new home to the date we moved in we felt cared for, important and informed. Gaye M was amazing dealing with our crazy schedules and our realtor Tina worked with Gaye to talk us off the edge a few times. There were a few things not quite right when we moved in but Jon in the warranty office was absolutely brilliant and they were resolved quickly. The building manager and sales agent was very helpful and addressed our issues. The sales manager, Debra however was rude, unprofessional and combative to the point where I refused to have a conversation with at our final walkthrough. My daughter, who also recently bought a Lennar home was with my husband and I at the walk through. My daughter asked Debra a question about the home and Debra's response to her was "Who's buying this home, you or them?" The first steps were great, signing contract and going through loan approval. The absolute worst part is walk through and closing. Lennar did a preliminary walkthrough with us and promised everything (and there was a lot) would be done by Final Walkthrough. Fun fact - final walk is scheduled 30 mins before closing. We love the area and the home. However, the communication was atrocious. It got to the point where it would take up to two weeks to get a response, and at times we never got an answer to questions we had. Come on Lennar you have to do better than this.

The number one selling point for this house was the backyard. On two occasions, Brittany told us our back yard was from the neighbors fence to our left to the neighbors fence to our right. During the initial showing we asked where the side boundaries were and she said we are “lucky because our neighbors have built fences and all we need to do was tie our fence to theirs”. Although the home is in the beautiful Glen Lakes area we had many issues through the entire process as it relates to workmanship and materials. Now, Lennar did do a price adjustment but that did not change the fact that we received something completely different than agreed upon. We are now in the home and it seems our warranty rep is very responsive but we still have (3) outstanding issues that we can not get resolution on.
