The building manager and sales agent was very helpful and addressed our issues. The sales manager, Debra however was rude, unprofessional and combative to the point where I refused to have a conversation with at our final walkthrough. My daughter, who also recently bought a Lennar home was with my husband and I at the walk through. My daughter asked Debra a question about the home and Debra's response to her was "Who's buying this home, you or them?" She literally told my daughter and my realtor who was there she was not discussing any concerns with them. She was so unprofessional and rude ...

The number one selling point for this house was the backyard. On two occasions, Brittany told us our back yard was from the neighbors fence to our left to the neighbors fence to our right. During the initial showing we asked where the side boundaries were and she said we are “lucky because our neighbors have built fences and all we need to do was tie our fence to theirs”. My wife, myself, and our realtor all heard the same thing. Of course we all ooh’d and ahh’d about the backyard. When we walked the development before choosing Lennar we looked at lots, and noticed construction development and home quality. One thing we noticed is all the homes had Carrier heat pumps. When we came down to walk for inspection we were given a different brand of heat pump. Lennar has now gone back to Carrier for the remaining 15 lots in the neighborhood. There are 2 lots with the cheaper brand heat pump ours and one other out of 90 homes. When we spoke to the sales team we were told the contract language allows them to use different vendors. We got a lot of square footage for the money and a nice-sized lot. Some nice material selections and others not so much. Still waiting for punch list items from the closing (2 months now) to be addressed. Reached out to my contact and haven't heard back. We used to own a Truland Home (before DR Horton bought them). Lennar doesn't come anywhere close to that quality or experience.

AC was replaced first week. Interior doors wrong size, warped and/or installed wrong. "LVP" that came with the home is NOT LVP...it's simply linoleum cut into strips...3mm thickness, and peeling up in areas. Corner of gutters leak. Landscaping never finished...sprinklers are laying on top of the grass shooting into the street or trees....weve been in the house 2 months. Garage door keeps popping when it opens, because it likely was installed wrong... wire reel assembling came unhooked so it would not close. Unfortunate Home Buying Decision

Although the home is in the beautiful Glen Lakes area we had many issues through the entire process as it relates to workmanship and materials. Now, Lennar did do a price adjustment but that did not change the fact that we received something completely different than agreed upon. We are now in the home and it seems our warranty rep is very responsive but we still have (3) outstanding issues that we can not get resolution on. The first steps were great, signing contract and going through loan approval. The absolute worst part is walk through and closing. Lennar did a preliminary walkthrough with us and promised everything (and there was a lot) would be done by Final Walkthrough. Fun fact - final walk is scheduled 30 mins before closing. Needless to say, on closing/final walk day hardly anything was done. We were told by our Foreman Chris that it would ALL be done by the time we close. It was not …. I had over 90 emails and texts before I closed on my home. Most of the correspondence was deputed. Mary helped as much as she could but her hands were tied on a lot of the problems. David was my go to guy and he had to check when problems came up.

Lennar needs to better responding to issues post move in. Person in charge of reviewing work completed by the trades need additional training. Many issues that were to be resolved after our move in are still not addressed. Have notified people in the front office, two guys that worked with the walk through and have submitted on line requests.

Words couldn’t explain how horrible the whole experience was. I’m a Vietnam era veteran and have never been treated this way in my life. When you do the kind of things these people do and you know it shame on me for not pulling out of the deal

They lied and mislead us from day one. They have been totally unresponsive to issues and refer everything to thr Warranty then drag it out hoping you will give up. During the build they do not provide options even if you have signed the agreement to purchase. Cut cornors and finishes are a cheap ad possible especially appliances and cabinets. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!

This is the worst concrete job we have ever had on a new home. When we closed on this house we addressed the crack on the top of our driveway to the supervisor he said he would put another cut into the concrete where the crack is and just made it look worse. We have contacted several contractors and they even said this is the worse concrete job they have ever saw. In time that crack will just keep chipping away they said which it already is and we only have been closed for less than 2 months. I tried to put a warranty call in and they said they would open a case I had to call twice ...

Lennar couldn’t get our house done by closing on Dec.28 so they pushed it to Jan16. Home is still not finished! We settled for a Lennar home in a different area of town. The experience has been horrible. We can’t even get the warranty people out to patch up the things that were pointed out on our walkthrough before closing. I don’t recommend buying.

Looking for the right adjective here. To say my wife and I are Disappointed just doesn’t describe how defeated we feel after waiting 10 months for our home to be built. From the lip service we received from our sales Rep (Les), who did not represent our interest at all. which led to my closing date being delayed sixty days and homes that started construction after our being finished before ours.
