Poor workmanship. Seeing daylight around our front door which allows wind and dust to come into our home is still not fixed after the builder sent out two different sets of people to "adjust" it . We now have a damaged wall and trim from the people that came to "fix" it. The wall was one we paid to have professionally painted. I am researching how to escalate this as it is unacceptable.

Our experience with Lennar has been extremely disappointing. We had multiple serious issues with our new home, including a cracked slab, clogged sewer lines that resulted in raw sewage backing up into our home, and significant A/C problems. The biggest issue was that we simply did not have confidence in our superintendent to properly address these problems or do the right thing for us as homeowners. At one point, I ended up spending $1,200 out of pocket to get the A/C issues corrected because we could not rely on Lennar to resolve them properly. For a new home and the amount of money we invested, we expected much better quality, communication, and accountability. Get up to date with installing better products and give customers more options. Use better quality products in your kitchen and bathrooms. Stop using the cheap materials.

Make sure sales staff does a better follow up w/their customers and be a little more accessible. I have purchased several homes in the past and the sales staff were much more thorough. There wasn't really any follow up after I closed on my home except a congratulations text from sales. My keys were temporarily missing, no pool fob, and the only person that seemed to treat me with a sense of urgency is Eric ***** who is awesome and should get a raise. These are not small purchases and buyers should feel excited about their big decision to buy with Lennar vs ALL of the other builders available in the same area. Word of mouth is the marketing magic in any industry and should be taken seriously because we all know it's a make or break for a lot of folks. Everyone wants a rating. Lennar is one of the Dow companies that deserves an excellent rating. They made my home buying experience easy. They took care of everything 100% and showed me where to sign. I expected a lot of difficulties and experienced NONE. Lennar is the very definition of excellence!

The entire Lennar team has been very helpful and professional. We love our new home. There are so many high quality features that we are so impressed with such as smart home lock and smart home thermostats. Even the electrical breakers have a chip built in that detects any unstable connections for better safety.

I had a pleasant home buying experience. I was walked through the process step by step. Lennar and their team made it easy and explained things well. I highly recommend them to my friends family and anyone looking for a home.

10/10 experience. I toured my first Lennar home and closed within 30 days. There was clear and timely communication. Multiple communication touch points. I was fully aware of the process, expectations, and my responsibilities and risks throughout.

From start to finish I was guided through the process and educated on my home and how to care for it. As a first time home owner this was informative and empowering.

Buying experience was not pleasant as salesman acted like he was non caring. Workmanship is for most part good but issues have taken time to resolve.

Everyone at Lennar is amazing, professional and made the process so easy. From Heather and Carter in the showroom to Jim, who made sure everything was perfect in the home, Lennar is one of the best builders.

With the exception of the initial selling individual who wrote my offer, each person I delt with at Lennar was incredible, helpful and honest. Especially Haley in finance, she was incredibly helpful and helped me understand it all as this was my first home buying experience. The initial salesman left something to be desired as he repeatedly put dates in the contract that I did not agree with for closing. If I had not read it and asked hime to correct it, twice, I would have been in a hard financial place as I was in a lease situation. I did not appreciate the dishonesty. I was very happy with everyone at Lennar including title and escrow. The process was easy and stress free

Hinges on the doors are too tight and paint is chipping off because of it. Blinds have fallen down. Too many power outages. Gaps in doors,etc.

Low qulity Doors and walls pait

We had a wonderful realtor that worked well with the Lennar staff and kept us well informed and explained the procedures and processes very well.

I would not recommend buying a home through Lennar based on my experience. The sales agent was largely absent throughout the process. I had to initiate almost all communication, except when I was told another buyer was interested in the home and needed to increase my offer by an additional $5,000 to secure it. After that, there was very little support. The underwriting process was the most frustrating part. Before I paid my earnest money, I provided all of my financial documents and explained my concerns. Weeks later, I was told that overdraft fees on my bank statements could prevent my approval. Instead of immediately requesting an exception, I was advised to delay closing and incur additional costs. Only after I raised concerns about my earnest money and the delay was an exception submitted—and it was approved. I was then approved shortly afterward, making the delay feel unnecessary. Communication from my processor became increasingly poor, and eventually my calls and messages went unanswered. Unfortunately, the disappointment didn't end after closing. The craftsmanship of my new home has been poor. I've already found dents in doors, paint peeling off doors, cracks in the walls, and areas where caulking was incomplete or missing. For a brand-new home, I expected much better attention to detail and quality. The only positive part of the experience was the closing team, who were professional and pleasant. I love owning a home, but if I could do it over again, I would bring my own realtor. I felt like I had to advocate for myself throughout the entire process instead of having Lennar advocate for me. Gym is necessary

My wife and I are in our mid to late 50’s and this Lennar home was my first “new” home that I have purchased. This experience was nothing at all what I had expected for a new construction home. My overall description of this purchase would be characterized as totally disappointing. For starts nothing was done in regards to what was convenient for us as the Customer. We were told when all appointments were scheduled and when we had to be at the home or at the closing. We had no say in the matter despite our own work schedules and what was convenient or what worked best for us. The quality of the home and lack of pride in craftsmanship were incredibly below the standard for what a new home should be. Cheap interior white paint throughout the home, fully loaded electrical panel with no room for expansion, poor job with the installation of the pavers for the driveway and sidewalk leading to the next gen unit and an A/C unit that makes a banging sound every time the unit turns on and off are just a few of the issues that we have had to deal with. Added to this is the three smoke alarms that needed to have batteries replaced during the middle of the night and the breakers that keep tripping when more than two power sources are being used at the same time. It was very evident that corners were cut at every opportunity all for saving money. You know things are bad when you have a pre home inspection by a third party and there ends up being over $9k of suggested repairs for a “new” home.
