We purchased our current home from California. It was a fairly smooth process and going through the financial was great. We had a great sales person. However, the quality of home was not what we expected. I would say for the most part, the tile setters were the worst. I have never seen tile layed so poorly with very uneven lines in the grout.The grout was messed up; different colors everywhere. Kind of embarrassing when I have somebody come to my house. The underwriters were unreasonable at every step in the loan process...... at one point I said stop the processes and start the process to refund my deposit , as I was unwilling to provide or unable as some of their requirements were of my bank and they(bank) would not provide to me to then pass on to them......example was showing a deposit on a monthly statement in the month not yet completed required me to go to the bank get a photo copy showing the deposit but because it had bank internal information on the top of the pages they cut off the top of the page showing 1of three and I explained ...

The house was not move in ready.... Was told not to worry they would take care of it within A-day or 2.... It has now been 6 weeks.... My Lennar experience was mixed. I love the house and community but Lennar didn’t make the process easy. I made the deal last October when the lot was being graded. It took Lennar almost 8 months to complete the house and I could never get a straight answer about the work schedule. The main problem is that Lennar uses the old “good cop” / “bad cop” approach to customer service (I’ve changed the names of all Lennar staff). There were two sales guys involved, I’ll call Joe and Moe. Joe is a genial frat boy type while Moe is his dour counterpart. Joe handed me off to Moe whenever a complicated ...

Some of the 30-day corrections took extra effort to fix. Some of the overhead fixtures do not lend themselves to installing a fan. The wiring is buried too deep behind junction box to access. The smart home features all require separate apps. They are NOT interoperable.

It was a great experience with this builder. In a time when supplies are short and timelines are delayed, Lennar was able to keep the home on schedule. There were many extras they put into the house as standards for them. All the lighting, Ring doorbell, and other automations are standard instead of upgrades. The superindentint takes pride in his jobsites. They continually inspect the work of their contractors and have items corrected prior to the homeowner taking possession. All in all a great team and terrific communication!

Overall a good experience. One improvement would be how information is provided. The building process is several months long and some info is given too far in advance. The buyer is not ready for it and it gets lost or hard to find again. Getting the names/sources for all the utilities for instance. I was instructed to go to MyLennar (or one of the Lennar sites). From there was told info wasn't available, need to go to the development's web page. From there was told info didn't exist for that area. Frustrating. A pre-made packet for each development would be a great service to provide the ...

This is our second Lennar home and this one is quite poor compared to our first. Our home was well buiult but the finsih stuff - flooring, painting, grouting, cabinets looked like they were odne by a 5 year old and the place was filthy when we moved into it. We still have unresolved issues but you have good construction managers who do follow through. I'll never buy another Lennar home and the worst of it is it too almost 10 months to get a product that was quite disappointing.

First off, the sales team was wonderful and the buying process was great outside of one upgrade we requested that was blown off and ignored. The construction team however has been a pain to deal with. The initial QC walkthrough seemed pretty good but there are now issues that we keep finding and issues that were noted during our walkthrough still have not been addressed at all, two months later (as of this review). I work in construction myself so I know all the "pandemic issues" but that excuse can't be used for everything. I've heard from neighbors that they all have various issues as well, ...

Only negative I can think of is the housing market itself driving the cost of everything through the roof. Purchasing with Lennar was a wonderful experience as they made everything simple to understand and were always responsive to questions or issues. And if there were any issues they were resolved quickly. Would definitely purchase with them again.

Overall happy with my experience, Toney has been very helpful in ensuring that move-in was seamless. He did the 30-day walk-through and is scheduling for painters to come and paint over scrapped paint. He also helps to answer with general questions.

I would buy another Lennar home in a heartbeat. They are clearly focused on customer satisfaction. The only issues we had were related to their contractors, specifically the plumbing company they contract with is garbage. The company really screwed up a lot of things. But Lennar made huge efforts to correct the issues and were extremely responsive. It’s difficult to find qualified workers these days and we were understanding of that.
