Every single trade had MAJOR areas to repair. Way to many items were missed and were not completed by closing nor months later.

Very difficult to get warranty work done timely. Seems like they have a different quality standard than the homeowner.

Love the Layout, the Workmanship is poor

We love the layout of the home which is why we picked it. The Workmanship is poor. We have paint runs down the banister, all across the baseboards, the subfloor wasn't installed properly in the bathroom creating tile cracks. Had that fixed and now the grout is cracked. It takes forever for someone to come out and fix anything. The outside cleaning that was supposed to be completed in November had yet to be done and it is currently March. The paint job is horrible! The banister received 1 coat, the wood is showing through, there is building dust painted into the banister. Its horrible. For a ...

Communication with buyer falls short after purchase. Slow to react to problems found by buyer. Many issues with clean up after contractors were done--not acceptable to any home buyer. Craftsmanship of home left alot to be desired. Shoddy work. Appliances were not the same ones that were shown in model home. Seller explained, at time of buying decision, that we would get the appliances shown in model home. The price we bought at appeared to be a great buy but we find it has fallen way short of our expectations.

Prior to Closing we were prepared to forfeit our deposit and walk away. It had become clear that Lennar's only interest was closing sales, not Customer Satisfaction. The "Inventory" house we selected, completed months earlier, wasn't actually finished upon closing. The day we took possession, we waited outside in the Arizona heat, while the vent hood above the gas cooktop was delivered and installed. The AC system was not fully functional for months. The natural gas supply line to the furnace had never been installed. The house was delivered with filthy air filters, and a dozen dead shrubs. ...

We are now almost 5 months after our close and still have multiple issues which need to be addressed. We have tried to have a door replaced for months but either the door is delivered damaged, the hardware is not correct, the painter comes with the wrong color, etc. We have had the entire electric box replaced, the slider was a problem before and after the closing. The air conditioner was wired incorrectly and we have had a multitude of other issues. It has been exhausting and ruined our experience of buying a new home. The subcontractors lack quality in their work and often make things ...

Don’t expect service after they have your money. We closed 1st week of Feb 2021 still waiting for them to complete work orders for repair or correction of items in build. Less then half have been completed or started. Items like door cracked, bad refrigerator, drywall repair. painting are just a few things. This is mid June 2021. Great place to live great lot. Extremely stressful when you paid for something you did not get and promises broken. Our Construction Manager was good then got overwhelmed with other new builds. Not enough help to take care of homeowners who already paid!

As a Experienced Homeowner I was Very disappointed with the builder’s team. Outside Financing, if at Possible regardless of the “Builders Incentive”it’s not worth it you will pay in the end. With a large down payment I still have a (PMI)! After you have finalized the purchase of your New Home your concerns will be slow with Repairs & Warranties. Not Timely! The concept of a NextGEN home is awesome, But the Quality of the building materials are Inexpensive and Cheap, (Cabinets). Small bedrooms and garage. Upgrades are sold to you as a packaged. No flexibility or choice. Very limited. ...

First off and let me say that is review is just a summary of the problems. Lennar forgot to finished installing the proper parts for the heater so when my family and I decided to run the heat, it didn’t work The AC had to be fixed 3 times since moving in and I’ve only been in the house for 6 months. Tile crack The glaze on the tile in the shower is pealing. Their contractors that do work on the homes never show up on time or they decide to show up when ever they want. Carpet is already buckling Overall it’s been a bad experience in regards to workmanship. The only positive is Tom. ...

Not so much a pleasant experience. Communication with sales rep was non existent, but called only when they needed something done on their end. Construction manager rushed us through our walkthrough and didn’t let us talk about the cosmetic issues we found and even insulted my wife calling her picky.

I have occupied this newly purchased home in Gold Canyon for four months and several repairs were requested upon the 30-day move-in customer care plan. The representative said the work will be done. NOTHING has been done, Lennar's contact personnel are non-existent and Lennar does not respond to our website's customer care requests. Once they took our money Lennar disappeared like a fart in the wind. Sorry we bought this Lennar house. There are better builders available.

The construction team is a joke! They do not care about any of your concerns throughout the entire building process. It is only a matter of time before the economy catches up with the condescending attitude of everyone in upper management with Lennar. We pointed out basic failures in construction standards from warped boards in framing through unacceptable drywall finishes all the way to the day of closing. Construction spent more time redoing work than they did with the initial supervision. Job sites were trashed and disregarded by superintendents, every corner that could be cut was cut, and ...

From the beginning this has been a poor experience for me with Lennar. I was relocating from WA to AZ and was so excited that my wife and I were able to save up enough money to purchase a home. The sales person that was in-charge of the Arroyo Secco section never listed was worried about getting a commission more than understand what we were looking for. Because were were not in AZ we of course depended on Lennar team and her to give us the proper information and help us with the construction process. This was a mistake. It was hard to get a hold of people they would take days to respond ...

Very poor quality workmanship. Built 5 homes and this is by far the worst one. Exterior painting not finished, house was dirty, electrical boxes installed with drywall screws, live wires not capped off, cracked concrete garage floor and entryway not repaired, drywall mud on woodwork and painted over, water leaking in garage. I could go on but this should give you a good idea of what to expect.

Hi your reps were awesome. They really helped. Truly appreciate thier help with the microwave, they went above and beyond. I want to say more about them, but I just had surgery. I have asked Lennar and the Property Management company's Raul (that Lennar contracted) about the dead shrubs, plants and trees (just as I did about the dog poo and dumpster) nothing has been done. The city was called, not only by me about the poo, but also two other owners about the dumpster and grounds. I have owned since April, I pay $150 a month, apparently to maintain a very small pool and nothing ...

Once you “close” the sale (i.e. have your money), they seem to forget all about you. We have a growing list of items requiring attention. Upgrades purchased and not delivered. Poor finish work and no craftsman to complete. Sinks that don’t hold water. Non-parallel walls (shower curtain rod fits at lower level, does NOT fit at higher level). Doorbell mount falling away from the stucco wall. Chipped shower door, discovered at move-in still not replaced (two months later). The list continues…

Worst experience, lennar only cares about the sell not the customer. Homes being pushed out in 5-6 months with nothing but issues, hence why they offer such appealing warranties to lure the customers in. I had foundation issues as soon as I closed on the house and I came out of pocket for it and still haven’t gotten reimbursed back for it. Submitting legitimate work orders to get the house fixed and the construction mangers will argue with you instead of fixing the actual issue just so there numbers look good. I would not recommend a lennar home. Look else where plenty of good builders out ...

Defective lights, 2 missed appointments & an untethered toilet after 90 days in our new home

Your survey arrived a little before 4:30 this morning, and shortly AFTER the Lennar contracted cement crew working on the lots behind our house. They were here at 4:20 am. I know these are extraordinary times we are living in, however, I don’t believe those circumstances warrant a pre-dawn work site start with loud equipment and lights shining into our home. Nor does it excuse the complete lack of follow-up communication from Lennar regarding our ongoing defective lighting, untethered toilet, & two missed appointments to correct our warranty issues. Unless of course this survey is ...
